Excellent job with this song! Love your tone! I have seen that break (where Dio sings "ohhhhh....ooooooo....oooh..ye­ah, yeah yeah...etc") different on other videos, but I'd definitely like to try your version out. It sounds like the real part.

@icitnow Well... There are sure many different versions out there. I heard it like this, but Iommi might have played it a different way, who knows? Sometimes I hear two guitars there. I did a "one guitar arrangement", I think :P

@DadySeek Well... I think Iommi only uses two notes in those chords (index and pinky - he only has those two finger in his right hand - the other two are "implants", so he usually avoid using them as most as he can)

I used the ring finger because I'm used to it. xD

No worries. I'm brazilian and my english isn't that great either.

what tuning did you use because I found some info on google and the song is in C# tuning and i found some tabs and they dont sound exact so i figured out the song by ear

@BedroomStudioz The song was written in the key of E minor and the guitars were tuned a Half Step Down on the original record.

I think maybe you are refering to some live versions, where they tuned down to C# to make it sound "darker". :)

You can find it at any music store.

The slide... it's what says... you play sliding it through the strings. You can do a lot of interesting things with that (Ever hear the slide part on Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird"? Amazing!)

Nice video. Help me with the amp settings. I have the tuning down but I can never get the right tone through the amp. Are you using any effects?

@mrbricks6 Well. I used the Guitar Rig software as my amp. This way, I could use a "virtual" JCM800. I used a delay on the main solo (on GR too).

But on a real amp, things are a bit different.

Every amp sounds different, and I can't tell exactly how yours sound and how it will react to the changes in the knobs.

You can try some pedals if the OD of your amp doesn't sound really good. :)

I favour "Overdrive" pedals. "Distortion" pedals can be... too harsh I think.

It's not THAT hard to use it. Just select any preset of the list.

If you want to make your own preset, just "clear the rack", open the "components" folder, click and drag the amps/ effects you want to the rack.

If you want to save, just click on "save" and create a name for it.

I used a slide and a special preset on guitar rig. It has a lot of reverb and delay. It's called "Oxygen". you can't forget the slide.

Now, on the Lead guitar, I just used Delay. :)
