@spike378 The PSP version is identical to the original game. I've only played the original once (years ago at a friend's house), but I have played it on the PSP.

To the best of my knowledge, the only changes they've ever made to the original was when they improved the graphics on the PC version. Then again, it's not really a game that needs improvements; it's a great game the way it is.

im confused, can someone tell me? after cloud kills sephiroth and then he faints with zack, they become test samples for hojo's new experiment, and they r kept at shinra mannor for five years? after escaping and zack dies, clouds mako sickness heals and suddenly he is cold and joins avalanche immediatly after zacks death. is that right?

@finishingtouchjewels cloud some how assumed he is zack and that is why he felt a bond to aeris and forgot about tifa. Thats mako poisoning for him. He did not know zack existed when he woke.

@spike378 Zack never told Cloud about Aeris. Aeris is a very likeable person, though. All of the playable characters in FFVII grew attached to her.

Funny, from what I gather on these boards in the sequels they say cloud's sickness was caused by mako, but in the original ff7 they clearly say he had a reaction to jenova cells that were implanted in him. Those jenova cells were the reason sephiroth was able to control him like a puppet later in the game if im not mistaken

@Heebs1313 Hojo's experiments on Cloud included BOTH the injection of Jenova cells and Mako showers so clouds sickness could very well have been from Mako poisoning or the Jenova cell injection procedure.

when they where captured the scientist was testing different levels of mako on cloud and he ended up have mako poising thus leading to mako addiction that why half of the game and anime zacks carrying him around he was pretty much dying lol

are you serious? have you even played the game? mako is the main energy source in the ff7 world, and materia is the result of concentrated mako, the materia gives humans and or intelligent animals the wisdom of the cetra, an ancient race in the universe

There are pretty much different storylines on all the Final Fantasy games, but they're all very good. And on most of them there comes a little "twist" in it. I suggest you try FF 7 first, though I like FF 9 most. You will notice a great change of graphic on all the games upwards, at least from FF9 to FF10.

He's poisoned by Mako energy. Zack's used to it because they do it to SOLDIER's members but Cloud wasn't in soldier so he's in pretty bad shape because of that.

May I ask you something ? I'm searching for FFVII - Last order in Youtube but there are only 3 or 4 episodes. So how long the seris Last Order will run. Cause now i am remaining this serie and I will understand the life of Cloud and Tifa when they live at Nibelheim.

Actually, Last Order is only a 23 minutes ova. If you want to dig more into Cloud and Tifa's life in Nibelheim then I suggest the original FFVII game where they tell you just a little bit more. For more on Zack and Cloud, then go to Crisis Core, though there are some differences in the re-tellings of this events, but I think that's just square-enix wanting to milk more material from FFVII than they should ¬¬ *damn money eaters*

Really? what I have heard is that they have no intentions of re-making anything =__=...as always it will all depend on the cash....if they see that the fans still want it, and if FFXIII (all its 3 games X__X)sell well, they might consider it. 555 I understand your feeling but I heard that from some FFVII webboard that I random searching that square-enix will remake FFVII - Advent children in the future( but they just released in 2005 )

But it's many scene cut off but you can find it on youtube. Maybe you have to buy Limited edition.

I never play FFVII or any FF series. The one and only game I ever played and defeat the boss with myself was Super Mario ^_^

And I do have the limited edition, and the stuff they omitted weren't that much, that's why I doubt they will make a re-make. Maybe they will sell another edition with some extras, but a re-make of something already marvelously done (not to mention the costs of that) doesn't sound very promising.

But then, I too am on the other end wishing for a more expensive re-make of the 3 discs of the original game.

In a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura at E3 in July, Nomura stated that an Advent Children Complete was in the works which will be formatted for the Blue-Ray Disc to take advantage of the special effects and that bonus material including in-movie scenes will be added. Nomura stated that release date will be accompanied by another big announcement which will complete the FF7 Compilation.

It's like a rule of thumb....i honestly like english dubs because in my mind, i personally imagine these characters to speak english. Nothing against the japanese language though. There are very high quality dubs that i own for many anime series. Such as Gundam.
