Note: The YouTube demo is just a visual aid in case some one doesn't quite understand the written instructions. I'm sure you can do it with out clanking the trumpet. The bottom line is, there's thousands of trumpet players who quit playing cause they can't afford the $130 dollar shop fee to clean their sticking valves. So for less then $10, running water and a kitchen sink, to get their trumpet playing like new again which is more important then not playing at all.
I also saw a comment saying they would never use Magic Valve as it could damage their valves, assuming it contains some kind of pumice.. Well that is incorrect, Magic Valve contains no pumice, its a 100% organic formula that breaks down long before it can do any type of damage to casing or valve surfaces. Magic Valve has been rigorously tested and used thousands of players around the world for years with great results and absolutely no damage.
Thank You for your advise, I know its not the best video but one thing is for sure, there is no other DIY Trumpet Piston Cleaning Product, or procedure in all YouTube or anywhere else in the internet that will 100% restore piston valve action back to its new condition. Yes I clinked the trumpet but never did any damage. Anyways I see all kinds of bath advise for trumpets which do absolutely nothing. So before you dump $100 bucks to clean your trumpet, Try Magic Valve and you'll be blown away..
Yeaaah..You shouldn't be so rough with your trumpet...Because if you Ding it..or Dent it..It could mess up your playing.. :/ And why do you keep saying.. " Like so" xD Sorry..Kinda wanted to point that out..It's starting to bug me now xD
So if you rinse your trumpet "way at the back" where exactly is the back of a trumpet???

A wee bit too harsh with the handling, for my taste! I hope that is a $100 "beater" you're using..

All of that clanking around can't be good for the horn. You should do this in a rubber basin.
