  • knowing me, ill end up putting my finger in there lol

  • Me and a friend both bought one, and all I can say is it's average at best. If you are looking for a great cutter you need to look somewhere else.

  • are you videoing this on the sun haha

  • @DoWhatIDus69 It was hotter than hell out that day. :)

  • ha dos caballos.

its pronounced (dose cab-eye-os) its spanish for 2 horses.

great review by the way. probably gonna get me one myself. thanks

  • @MetalxXxMan I'm terrible at spanish. :)

  • Nothing beats a simple guillotine or punch imo.

  • be a man and bite it off

  • I just got one of these and so far not so good! It isn't cutting evenly and is kind of pinching the last bit so I have a tinny nub. Maybe I'm not doing it right, I'll watch the vid again to see!!

  • @savedfsin It may be defective.

  • my questions that i would love to have answered:

    1) what type of wood or other material is your opinion best for smoking a pipe?

    2) whwere in the world does pipe tobacco usually come from?

    3) what is a good tobacco in your opinion for after dinner, in the morning, before bed?

    4) if you could smoke a pipe quietly with anyone living or dead ( not including friends or relatives) who would they be?

  • @FountainBunny Good questions all. I will answer them in an ask kel video. or videos!

  • @FountainBunny The pipe wood question is addressed extensively though in my How to smoke a pipe series.

  • great vid you are a legend

  • @Snipikey Only in my own mind. LOL

  • Thanks for the review man, I was looking at various cutters and probably would have spent $30-$50 on one, glad I saw this first

  • hey to the creator, 0:30 there is a typo in your little box in the top left

  • @cod420juggaloify Thank you!

  • Thanks Kel, I just ordered the Brushed Steel Cuban Crafters Scissors from doscaballoscigars. I to was looking for a nice Cigar Cutter. Thanks again for the heads up. I also got carried away and bought a Zippo BLU on Ebay...uhh...and picked up a Box of Diesel`s and Gurkha Sampler online. Lifes short right. Christmas came early...lol

  • @BullDogPipeGuy Indeed a guy has to take pleasure when he can!

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • Man O man, if I had found this review earlier, I have spent tons (grams) of cash on cigar cutters. Best cutter around, you can get it for 11.99 at cigar affinity dot com. Got me two just in case. Thanks man.

  • @1fatbastard You're welcome Man, I wish I had found these years ago as well. I still like my punches as well, but this has become my go to cutter.

  • I went to the site and bought two for cutting the tobacco sticking from the cigaregtte after rolling it...Thanks

  • lol at 2:35 ... that cut was a bit suspect.

  • I buy 1 pice and he distory 2 cigars...not good...

  • lol made me think more of YOUR MOTHER!

  • well that cigar cutter does kinda look like the enterprise :P

  • @kaw37 I hadn't thought about that. LOL

  • look at thehole in that thing..... thats wat she said

  • FYI... found it for even less on Amazon!!!

  • @thedottom22 Very cool, thank you!

  • @SmokeRingsPipeDreams No problem! Hey thanks for making these videos, I've watched nearly all of yours and after seeing this cutter I ordered it right away. If it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't have ever found out about it.

  • @thedottom22 You're very welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying them. This has become my fav cutter for a straight cut. I still like my punch though, but this one is a hell of a lot more fun to use.

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • That looks like an awesome cutter! I think I'll get one!

Dos Caballos means "Two Horses" in Spanish. If you want to sound all Rico Suave, you can pronounce it "Dose (dose of medicine) Cab (catch a cab) Eye (yeah) Yos(imite Sam)"

  • @KagarBeardtooth Thank you, I don't get how to pronounce spanish. (Japanese is much easier for me)

  • Thanks anyway

  • Hey, im new to cigar smoking and so i havent figured out which cigars i like yet. I would like to buy a sampler pack but i dont want to get ripped off by the extortionate prices in the uk where i live. Would you reccomend and websites that ship to the uk? Cheers lewis

  • @lewisthaiboxer I wish I could, but I don't know, I would just email several and ask them.

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • @bigmoney8481 No, but I have another idea which I have been experimenting with that does help some. I'll get a video up about it when the experiment is done. (and I get off of my lazy ass and get the video made LOL)

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • @SmokeRingsPipeDreams So the statement "It then gently tugs the center of the long filler to assure a smooth smoking cigar" is just marketing?

  • @bigmoney8481 I don't know. Mine seems to leave a little strand maybe when the cut is done sometimes, but I don't think I want a little strand left. LOL So I just cut away.

  • Hey Kel! I just got the cutter in the mail a few minutes ago...and mine doesn't seem to function as well as yours. Do the blades in your cutter shake and rattle a bit? Mine do, and it does affect the cut quite substantially. I really want to like this cutter, and I hope mine is just a fluke that i can send back and get replaced. Thanks!

  • @Azaelius The blades on mine will move when fully open and if I shake the cutter I can hear them hitting against each other but when fully closed they don't. Send it back with a note telling them what's happening.

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • @Azaelius I was planning on buying one of these. Did you end up getting that problem fixed?

  • @victory01 Actually, its working fine now. I have no idea what happened lol. I say go for it brother! I prefer my V-cutter and single blade cutter still as well as my punch, but i break this one out when i have guests over for cigars. it freaks 'em out haha.

  • Great tip Kel! I checked out the site and ordered the stainless version. It was actually cheaper to send it here to Thailand than my U.S. address! Like $7 for shipping!

Thanks for the review and the link Kel!

    Cheers,

  • @astroman2112 You're welcome Sir, I'm always glad to bring something cool to you guys!

  • Great review Kel! Thanks for the tip!!

  • @juvetaz you're welcome Sir!

  • That thing looks incredible. I've been loving my Palio for a long time...(no, not like that!!), but that thing looks amazing. I checked the price on that cutter just now, and placed an order....geez, and they accept Paypal. Thanks for posting this!!!!

  • Cuban Crafters is an awesome company!! There are seller on eBay(doscaballoscigars just to name one) that sells only Cuban Crafters humidors and accessories including that cutter. I was going to buy it, but now its a def. buy. thank you

  • @WikingPipe545 You're welcome my Friend, I love passing cool info and deals along!

    Cheers,

    Kel

  • Nice cutter! I have one from CubanCrafters that came with a combo deal I bought a few months ago, although it's the cheapest one they have and it's mostly plastic....but it works...for now.

I'm a bargain hunter, always on the prowl for the best deal I can find. ;)

    ~D

  • Cuban crafters are making some really great cutters! After checking out the site...WOW! FRACTION! on a side note...I think cutters in the future would be laser powered, lol! Like a light saber cutter, now that would be cool!

  • @victory01 And I'll have me one of those as well. (Use the cutter Luke!) LOL

  • Wow! beautiful cutter, and it looks like the answer to my cutter-related prayers! out of curiosity, is it plastic or metal construction on the body/handle(s) of the scissors?

  • @Azaelius It is all metal Sir! Thank you for the question, I will annotate the video about that.

    Cheers,

    kel
