My buddies. Lyon's girlfriend was best friends with my girlfriend. Lyon's dad is Victor Wong the actor: "Last Emperor." His brother was a poet now teaches Yoga. Lyon was cool. Would come over to my pad and listen to weird music like Sun Ra and Miles Davis. Human from the Vandals moved in next to me and we found out we both knew Tales of Terror. Good guys all of 'em. Rats Ass always did backflips, what a wild man.

@rancidsexbeast, they did play together in Austin around 85". The bands truck was broken down for a couple weeks and Rat got a job washing dishes at the club they were playing. They played with a lot of bands back then. They opened for the Ramones many times. They were Joey favorite band. He wanted them to tour with the Ramones in 86" but their guitarist Lyon was murdered by some dumb fucking jock named Shawn Chaney.

I saw this band play several times at the Crest Theater in downtown(remember the tank trap banks?). As I remember, they once wrapped themselves up in duct tape and tore it off during the show.

I remember the night at La Samilla cultural center when he dove off a stack of amps about 10 feet higher that the 4 foot stage and got carried away. TOT were opening for Social Distortion and everyone booed them off screaming for more TOT. The best fucking band ever from Sac.

i remember seeing these guys at olympic auditorium in L.A. in '83 or '84. the singer was doing back flips off the PA speakers which were pretty tall. just an amazing band.

Thank you a MILLION for uploading this. I haven't seen this since I used to watch this on VHS a long, long time ago. A band that should not be forgotten. Plus, the skate footage takes me back!
