This has nothing to do with anything but one day I found a Master of Puppets casset tape on the sidewalk. I wanted to keep it so I opened it and the tape box was still there but the tape was all yanked out. worst thing to find. I wanted a tape of them too. Oh well.

I think Lars went a bit in "arrogant rockstar" mode in the late 90's - or maybe not arrogant but a bit too rockstar for his own good. After St. Anger he seems to have calmed a bit and being a lot more focused and grounded.

Thats actually funny. That is not the same story as he tells in all the Danish interviews.

The story he always tells, is that he moved to the US to outlive his Tennisdream. But that dream never game true, so he saved money to a drumkit, and after he got that, he put out posters seeking for a band, and thats where he met James.

And that is the true story. What he tells here is bullshit. I dont believe he have ever made a band playing along with Deep Purple on random boxes :D

Above everything else, a good drummer is a time-keeper: that's the hallmark of drumming. Most drummers would agree with that. Lars is good, yes, but he sure as fuck is no John Bonham or Neil Peart.
