Over 400,000 unemployment job claims are filed every week, I know this because it's announced every Friday. And with unemployment at 9% 2 years in a row, that is completly unacceptable.

Any other president would have taken measures to create jobs, not destroy them as Obama has done. The entire stimulus should have been aimed at immediate job creation, yet Obama admits in this clip unemployment is accelerating, but 70% of the stimulus wasn't schedule to be spent until 2010. Bush stunned the media after 911 with his rapid action and success to curtail job losses and stimulate the economy in the wake of Clinton's recession and the 911 attacks. Bush succeeded and Obama failed.

If I remember correctly, the Clinton administration was in office during one of the most prosperous era's in the history of our country. Bush succeeded in responding to 9-11 but failed with poor economic decisions towards the end of his 2nd term that made him look like a real moron.
Clinton Succeeded, Bush gets a C- and Obama is incomplete.

Why blame Bush? All the policies that got us here are Democrat Policies, such as no drilling for oil in the face of rising prices, forcing financial institutions to make loans to those unable to repay, and refusal of oversight for those institutions, including FNMAE and FREDDIEMAC. The economy was fine until the Dems took the majority in 2007! Now we see with the socialist policies they are pushing that they are the destroyers of economic growth.
