  • "At the Hop" by Danny and the Juniors

  • the 1st song

  • i love her ther is only 1 car i love more than this 1 57 bel air but this car u have here is a real dream btw wat is the name of the song

  • dude, can i please have your car? did you restore her yourself? plenty of room for "entertaining" a female in that back seat, lmao. very nice car man.

  • Really beautiful,thank´s for sharing to us.Greets

  • It still kills me that they nuked 20+ Christines in the making of that movie :(. Great car you have there Sir.

  • I love that movie, they should make th sequal

  • I love the look of the 50's cars interiors especially the dash and gauge cluster they're so neat compared to the 60's and 70's muscle cars

  • Beautiful car. They dont make em like this anymore

  • how much would you sell it for

  • @rageofalphawolf I know how you feel, I was born in 95' and all is fiberglass,it's best to start looking for these they are amazing cars

  • what was the original M.S.R.P

  • @daved1974 I'd say the original MSRP was about $2200

  • @mocus1 wow thats equivilant to about $16000 today

  • @mocus1 $2200 I think it was around $3,100 least from what I've read at PlymouthCentral com

  • @gunny426plymouth I looked it up: The 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2 dr. Sport Coupe sold 36,053 units and the cost was $2564. The top of the line Fury was the most expensive Plymouth in 1958, selling for $3057.

  • @mocus1 ahh see plymouth central didn't have the msrp for the belvy so i put for the fury..... where'd you get your info?

  • @gunny426plymouth a Plymouth historical book

  • @mocus1 Mice.... There's a 57 Belvy 2dr. coupe 5 minutes away from my house one of these days I'm going to make him an offer

  • My Freind Thinks A Fuckin Shevy Shevel Will Own Christine .... What a Shitter

  • Wowww nice car!

  • That's like the real Christine!

  • Whats the other car under the cover?

  • @KITT171 68 Hemi GTX

  • they are so cool looking. I love them!

  • @THEMASKEDGUITARIST1 I think the Fury was the "muscle model" fast one... and Belvedere was the luxurious soft one... Then there were the Plaza and Savoy which were lower down models which often didnt have flashes or bumper guards. But are still awesome! Alot of the christines in the movie were Belvederes, Savoys etc... i believe the one that was in the fire chase was actually a 4 door.

  • NICE CAR. LOVE THE LICENSE PLATE IN THE BACK !!!!!! "58 EVIL" , BY THE WAY ,THE CAR THAT THEY BURIED AND IT GOT FLOODED WHEN THEY TOOK IT OUT , WAS PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE , RIGHT?

  • @fastnose yeah but that was a 57 Belvedere

  • Love those fins. You can see them while backing into a parking space also.

  • Sex on legs!

  • @THEMASKEDGUITARIST1 I am 57 years old and I remember when these cars were still on the road...... I "think" remember they came in all different colors

  • Simply gorgeous! I'd be hell on wheels in that car!

  • pristine

  • how much u sell it?how much is one?I heared u restore them..a guy told me 40.000 but i wanna kno ur opinion also:Pnice work.

  • @cyrusthevrus probably worth $30k or so

  • @THEMASKEDGUITARIST1 yes you could order "Vornado air conditioning" as an option, but not many people did back then.

  • @THEMASKEDGUITARIST1 The top of the line Fury only came in Tan with gold trim and gold side inserts. One step down was the Belvedere, with a variety of colors and silver side inserts.

  • Just awesome....

  • PURE CLASS!

  • My uncle drove one of these cars. He bought a year end demo car loaded with options. Power everything, including steering, brakes, torqueflite auto, windows, clock, radio (don't remember if the antenna was power. It even had factory air conditioning. But problems too numerous to mention. Rust, premature interior wear, poorly fitting parts.

  • It breaks my heart how hopeless my chance of acquiring a plymouth fury is. Over a 100 grand for a mint one or restored and they are soo rare, its soo hard to find a clunker one to work as a project.

  • @Warrantofficer13 Simple,get a Belvedere

  • No seat belt?

  • @Warrantofficer13 Seat belts weren't mandatory in American cars till 1966. I added in a set of red Tri-Five 55-57 Chevy seatbelts that fit perfectly and match perfectly for safer modern day driving.

  • Lucky you, owning a dream car :)

  • 'Awesome car...

  • FUCKING SHITTERS! Hey man, this is my dream car, is there any suggenstions on where the best place is, to get them? Or you can just tell me how you got you'res, please, I'd appreciate it a bunch bro

  • @mocus1 I believe the first song played on your video is 'At The Hop' by Danny and the Juniors, not 'Rock and Roll is Here to Stay'. I also heard a small part of 'The Wanderer' by Dion in the middle of your video.

  • How much did it cost you to pick up that plymouth and turn it into the scariest and sexiest automobile in history?

  • @Warrantofficer13 a lot

  • @mocus1 How much do you think a 1944/1951 Ford 4-door Coupe (in black) with lots of rust, old/no engine, no seats, and absolutely no tires/wheels from a junkyard would cost? (and how much would it possably cost to fix it? And would fixing it be worth it?)

  • @JeffHendrie You could probably buy it for a $1000 but you have to put about $30k into a junker to make it worth anything. If it's not gonna be worth $30k or more when you're done, it's not worth it, unless you're just doing it for the heck of it.

  • lets cruise.............

  • Belloooooooooooooooooooooo hermosooooo es este auto ..todo un monumento!!

  • Holly Shit...your a lucky man...

  • how you have those old songs playing do you have old tapes or is that a cd player with the old songs on there im sure thats not the radio and how much does that car go for?

  • @mocus1 nope,at the hop is the 1st song

  • muito bom plymouth fury muito lindo parabéns bom trabalho ficou identico ao christine

  • Bad ass...would love to buy it.....

  • where are the turn signals, i've seen pictures but can never find them

  • @DjROCKR1 they are right above the headlights, in between the high and low beam light on each side.

  • @mocus1 perfect design for them, looks awesome this way, love the car dude

  • umm why didnt you start it up?

  • RAD CAR!!! My Stray Cats was already playing louder than ur hop!

  • "F" is fan speed for heater. slide knob is temp adjustment

  • what song is this

  • what is the knob that has an f on it for floor vents?and the big slider ?

  • what is the switch above the ignition for ?

  • @sargebad that is the clock adjustment knob

  • stereo is also actuated by a motion detector located inside Christine

  • yes, that's the car's stereo, has a hidden CD AM/FM player with original radio........upgraded speakers

  • You are one of the few smart people that choose not to sell such an amazing rare piece of machinery. :-)

  • She's Alive !! Alive !!!

  • i would give anything to have that car

  • it might sound crazy, but is it for sale? :)

  • @TheMovieman159 not at this time thx

  • The 5 guys who pressed dislike are shitters!

This is Ben from the CCC

  • she'll kill you. don't drive her.

  • @Tundraboy05 Ha ha - Christine

  • "At the Hop" by Danny and the Juniors, and also "All I have to do is Dream" by the Everly Brothers

  • song name ?

  • i only see an extremely slight differances between the fury and the Belevedere

  • extreme beauty. thanks for keeping her with us man.

  • Ive gotten in so many arguments because people dont believe me when I tell them it wasnt a plymouth fury in christine its a belvedere!

  • @ConcreteSurfer420 I can see why you get into a lot of arguments. Its a Fury with a Belvedere paint scheme.

  • Mate its beautiful. I Had N EK Holden that would kill it but I read the book and lo ved it, so I unederstand the beauty of the car. Well done! And when they do the remake, tell them to get stuffed.

  • The only difference I can notice is that this one has a bench seat up front. "Christine" from the movie had individual seats, which was how Darnell died (being crushed into the steering wheel) Beautiful car though!!!

  • Beautiful car. But to be honest, it would scare the shit out of me to own. I'd always be worried it would start killing people. hahahaha. Seriously though, that is an amazing looking car.

  • Ahh at the hop! a good song i have a 58 that looks exactly like this (all original and no neons) it was toreader red and iceberg white. good colors. Brittany (from Alvin and the Chipmunks 2) freaked out when she saw my car. i dont no why ppl freak out when they see my car. except i told her its only a replica of Christine and she said "Oh okay! i wanna ride!"

so i gave her a ride. she liked the torsion bar suspension cuz it comforts her like the stock Plymouth.and she loves the car now OMG yes

  • Beautiful, just beautiful! Love the movie, love the car. I dig the rear license plate!

  • My dream car!!! I have a 1959 buick invicta two door hardtop now and when i get some more money i will buy a 1958 Plymouth! Greetings from Sweden.

  • verry nice man

  • Beautiful!

  • nice car does it kill people with its beutifal looks.

  • awsome car

  • I love her.

  • I wonder if the people who assembled these '58 Plymouths ever dreamed they'd become as popular and as hot as they are today?

  • Standard transmission was a 3 on the tree manual transmission. Optional was the 2 or 3 spd. Powerflite automatic pushbutton transmission, which this car has.

  • My dream car

I must of watched Christine a 100 times when I was young !

    Great video, looks stunning.

  • neon? what neon? that's the fires of hell boy.....get used to it

  • Is she for sale?

  • Yes, it has torsion bar suspension

  • Pushbutton 2 speed PowerFlite Transmission folks.....there's no "Park"....you have to push "N" for neutral and apply the parking brake......by the way, the parking brake is applied to the driveshaft, not a wheel as in other cars.

  • @mocus1 Cool video man... I remember when I first took a little spin in my own CHristine, a rare '59 Dosoto Fireflite. She had been seriously mechanically repaired from dead, and when I put her into D, and I siad what the hell? DIdint feel a thonk or hear a change in gears even. That torqueflie was the most impressive trannt I had ever heard about and at that point (2006) seen in action.

  • My old man got a 1959 belvedere :D

  • at least she a sexy killer car

  • i really love what you did with this video. i was always mystifeid by the beautiful and errie look this model had in the front. the 50's music playing really makes it perfect. i could watch vids of this car all night. a one of a kind beauty...great job Arney.

  • i thought christine was a fury

  • stuning

  • B"H

A really nice Plymouth, enjoy! i'm curious, does she have the PowerFlite or TorqueFlite tranny? Did they have a Park position on the '58s, or did that come later?

These cars also had torsion bar front suspension and an OHV V8, right?...Bill H.

  • It's alive! it's alive! mocus1 i'm worried about you man ;)

Beautiful car, just remove this red neon, please..

Too bad that these old shark-cars were very fragile, and mass-deadly to the driver / passengers. But that sound, shape, look.. priceless..

  • do you sell it?

  • do you sell it?

  • do you sell it?

  • nicely done..and Im in love..lol, so were those push buttons standard on that car back then or was that just an option you put in there? Im really not used to seeing a 58 Plymouth up close

  • @ConwingL162007 yes, the automatic transmission was pushbutton, but it's mechanical, not electronic. Each button has a cable which actuates a master cable into the transmission. Works great !

  • This is the baddest car. That car IS hot!!! :)

  • That car is HOT!!!

  • What a car !!!!!! Congratulations.

  • What a car !!!!!! Congratulations.

  • Your car rocks!!!!

  • a dream car

    its beautiful :)

  • She is beautiful! You have done an amazing job, thank you for helping to keep our history preserved.

  • I saw the front tag CQB 241 thats the one from Christine. how did u get that? LOL

  • yes, it has a pushbutton automatic transmission on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Each button moves a mechanical cable which actuates the gears in the transmission. An amazing system with no gearshifts on the column or floor.

  • @mocus1 so amazing...was that standard on those Plymouths back then?

  • "58 EVIL"

    lol... that's so ridiculous...

  • @arcano1973 Watch a movie called Christine (1983).

  • @arcano1973 Watch a movie called Christine (1983).

  • How do you switch gears in it? Can't see anything for it

  • Is the music playing from your car stereo?? Sounds good =)

  • it's amazing your car is beatiful men you wanna sell to me hahaha

  • wow,,do i ever envy you,,love your car..wish i owned it.

  • If I had the choice between this car and a brand new Porsche, I would take the Plymouth without even thinking for 1 second. I love classic cars, especially the Fury. You are so lucky to have one in this great condition.

  • @lizardman152 i agree lizardman il jealous of mocus1 he has a Belvedere. i sold mine to a car club but they wanted to sell it back to me cuz of ripped seats from the owner before me. now im stuck with a Belvedere and a Commodore VT and a VW Bug all 3 registered too 2018

  • it has the same plate number as the one in the movie.

  • Very cool classic!

  • cool car me and my dad are makin one but the neon don't look cool :(

  • better car lookin than todays

  • I love this car. The sound of engine is great.

  • A beauty..indeed..i love that model..one of the finest Plymouth ever build..mmmm..:)

  • SEXYYYY ASS CAR

  • I love how they described Christine as a custom order, she was a one of a kind RED 4 door 58 Fury off the line, but fury's only came is 2 door ... and only came in white and beige in 58 when they were first introduced, so the only way to get a proper recreation is to take a 58 Belvedere in red, modefy the chrome trim from a fury to fit the 4 door make and transplant the engine

  • I love this car! The first time i saw it was in the movie and i fall in love with it! Dreaming to have one some day...

  • fantastic car a work of art

  • jadore cete voiture c tipikemen moi x))))

  • Comment removed

  • NICE!!!!!

  • To make the car a Fury, you would paint it Buckskin Beige, and change the silver Belvedere side inserts to gold. And the insignia on the rear quarter would be changed to "Fury"

  • LOL 68 EVIL is on the license plate

  • actully is says 58 EVIL...

  • The 1958 Belvedere is my second dream car my first dream car would be A 1958 Edsel Citation or Corsair.

  • I feel scary when listening this song and seeing Christine! She is really beautiful !

  • ARNIE CUNNIGHAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You should limo tint ALL the windows, like in all the scenes of the movie when the car is driving its self :) ~ its just sexy and mean lookin

  • The owner of this car is a lucky bastard.

  • I would love to buy this car....

  • if you ever want to pass it on to someone then ill look after her :)

  • AMAZING CAR! I LOVE IT

  • Nice...I learned to drive in my father's '58 Belvedere...318 cid 4 bbl, push Button drive Torqueflite, one trim level below the awesome white/gold striped Fury!!

  • i envy you a lot

  • Beautiful car mate also love the film ps- nice plate on the back lol

  • the first song is "At the Hop" by Danny and the Juniors, second is "All I have to do is Dream" by the Everly Brothers

  • My dream car, and was that a Dr. Pepper standing in your garage? Damn you have it all :D

  • @r4zor878 lol very funny !

  • What a beautiful car, tell me, how hard was it to make the Belvedere look like a Fury? I know you had to change the hood ornaments, headlights, and that lower air vent

  • Man that's a LOT of car . 5*****

  • Great!!! Christine is Plymouth Fury not Belvedere!!!

  • love that car!

  • no fiberglass on that dash sir.....pure US Steel there

  • no fiberglass on that dash sir....pure US Steel in that

  • I thought Arny was sick. That was a movie.now we are facing the same problem in reality..Hope that didnt sound weird.

  • Yes ! I also become sick if I have that car, she´s so beautiful, I can spend all day on the road with her, hearing old music

  • @TheRagingWarrior ahhh, huuuhh??

  • Interior is the wrong color if you're making a Christine car.

  • is that a fiberglass dash? if so then damn. i wish tehy still made cars like this
