What men don't realize is that during pregnancy, women produce fat cells that cannot be eradicated--that's not to say that they should never make an earnest attempt at being healthy/fit, but a woman's body changes indefinitely as a consequence of pregnancy/childbearing.

I can't get over how pretty the wife is compared to the husband. How the hell did he get her? If he didn't want her to put on weight he shouldn't have knocked her up. Maybe he should try carrying a baby for nine months.

This is just wrong... This asshole should be thankfull for the amount of energy she's put into the pregancy! We man don't have to do shit but to support the lady... And even that is to hard for this dumb idiot... Luckely i've been raised with some level of respect towards women. And i'm glad about it! While a lot of mothers put on weight after birth, getting a c-section will certainly do it. You can't do any hard work until it's healed, not even pick the baby up.

My fiance said he wouldn't give a rat's ass if I gained 200 pounds from pregnancy, as long as long as he has me and the kids, he's the happiest man alive. since I have commented a year ago, I have lost 100 pounds. I can understand how her husband feels. I didnt before. I still think he is an ass but he has a point. how would he feel if she lost all her weight and started turing guys heads again? I think they need marriage councling. when it comes to weight loss or gain it is so hard on the marriage. Trust me not all the problems go away from weight loss some times you get more.

I was brought up to respect woman, skinny or fat, since I was raised in a household that was 90% women, but obviously this guy wasn't. I was an overweight child because I was molested the fat was a shield. I went to every party, played skellzies, jump rope kick the can the whole shabang. It had NOTHING to do with laziness sometimes there is more going on behind the fat then you think. It may be ugly to you but some people have a preference. Learn to respect peoples differences
