Dohw airport will be competing with Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain & Muscat for a market share, its going to be tight.
Soon, Dubai will have Al Maktoum Intl. airport with 6 runways, et all. Then, will see the difference, how Doha tries to wean away passengers from Dubai's 2 airports.

@swan777 ATL is the busiest currently and LHR. But DXB is Big.

It's not that big. More than 26 million passengers already travel through Dubai, I think it's aprox. 34 - 36 Million.
