People fail to realize the true issue with this video. Fighting games (or generally any game for that matter) have such a high luck factor involved it's unbelievable. He had to guess when Justin was going to activate his super otherwise he couldn't parry on reaction because of how a parry works. Not to mention mashing a parry out doesn't work, so he was extremely lucky on that first one. Now after the first parry, that was all skill and execution, which I applaud him for, especially in a tourney

A parry isn't something you generally do on reaction unless it's a fireball or something like that. You need to tap forward before you even see Chun activate her super, thus it's luck when he made the first parry. Just to let you know, I played 3rd strike for at least 2 years and you can even see some of my matches on my channel.

Instead of blocking, Daigo parried (eating up hits without taking damage) Justin Wong's super and finished off with a combo at the biggest fighting tournament in the world being pressured with God knows how many people were there.

@matadorzx1 Just a few things. Why hadouken? Its a parry, tap forward for high/mid and down for low. Its not deciseconds, a parry has a 10 frame window, jumping parry bout 7, red one about 3. The rhythm is actually quite easy, its just getting that first one due to the speed of chuns start up. Its still an epic moment due to the situation of parry it all and defeat him in one combo or die, and it shows daigo's skills but its not that "impossible", tbh its not even that hard when you train at it

If you don't know what's going on in this vid.. with Street Fighter 3 on the PS3, this exact move is the final trial, called evo moment #37. You basicly have to do the same move you see here. Only now I can really appreciate what Daigo did. I can parry the first kick and then I get utterly destroyed, no matter how many times I try, it's fucking impossible!!
