The "locker room """argument"""" is the most ridiculous of all. Just inform your son that those kids have been mutilated by their parents and are just jealous of his intact penis when they have mutilated stumps. The "locker room """argument""""" is much like saying: "all the other kids do drugs, so of course my son should also do drugs, he wants to fit in after all". Really??? How about, just say no.
Also, saying 80% of the world's men are intact may be true, however one must consider that roughly a third of the world's population consists of two countries, India and China, where the practice is virtually non-existent. Attitudes in Australia towards circumcision are changing. In my state, which is has the highest rate of circumcision, the increase in circumcision is is rising faster than the other states and territories.
@EdenRetroBoy Well your state must have some pretty backwards and cruel people if forced circumcision is on the rise. The reason circumcision rates are higher in some areas is because of quack doctors advertising their sick money making business. They should be in jail for child abuse.
That method shown is rarely used to circumcise boys. In Australia we use EMLA numbing cream and circumcision devices that deliver pain-free results. On the news here there have been reports of a slow but steady rise in circumcision rates and the concensus is that if it were covered by Medicare these rates would be slightly higher still. This is just a point of view from an Australian.
@EdenRetroBoy EMLA numbing cream is dangerous to use on infants and children. The EMLA product monograph clearly states: EMLA is contraindicated in patients who are less then 6 months of age or younger, EMLA cream is presently not recommended for use on genital skin or mucosa. Available data suggest that analgesic efficacy of EMLA cream on genital mucosa may be variable. Until further clinical data are available, EMLA cream should not be used in children under the age of 6 months.
@EdenRetroBoy The three most common circumcision devices are Mogen Clamp, Gomoco Clamp, and Plastibell. All of devices/methods are at least 50 yrs old, and they are all rediculously far from painless. If they were painless as you falsely claim, the AMA, AAP, CPS and BMJ would not go to great lengths to insist that proper analgesia be administered.
The EMLA cream can be very harmful if the infant is given too much. Just like having any surgery the pain does not stop after the cut.
"You do want to be like your friends. You don't want to be the odd man out."
Cutting a penis won't make a boy look like another boy. If this is a concern for parents, why does circumcision exist at all in countries with very low infant penis cutting rates? The circumcised boy is typically the "odd man out."
If someone tried to do this to me today, I'd beat the sh!t out of them! They are forcing men to be circumcised, but they get away with it by getting it over with while we're young & defenseless. Cowardly bullies.
I ask women at work if they would circumcise their sons or not and most of them say they would. If circumcision is done correctly it makes the penis more appealing to women.
@stsr23 That's a myth perpetrated by crackpot "doctor" Edgar Schoen. He quotes a shady study that says prostitutes prefer it, as if that's a reason to sexually violate a baby!
80% of the world's men are intact and their female partners are certainly not finding those intact penises would be more appealing with the MOVING part removed.
@stsr23 And if circumcision is done wrong a child's life is ruined.
IF an adult man or woman thinks cosmetic surgery would make their OWN genitals more "appealing" then great, hopefully they are fully informed of the risks and consequences before undergoing such surgery, their body, their choice.
Forcing genital surgery on a baby because some women may find it more appealing is sick and unethical.
@MacHead31 The systematic mutilation of male infant's genitals has not changed for decades. To imply that there is a discrepancy between the eras is disingenuous.
Laughing your ass off? Anyone who laughs to this is as sick at those criminals who sexually mutilate children.
@Bonobo3D Yeah LMAO. This video plays with emotions instead of facts. Cir are not even done like this anymore, and the pic of the penis in this video is not of anyone's penis in the US where it is done by a doctor. This video is VERY misleading.
If your for or against cir that is your position to take, but this video does nothing but a manipulation of lies.
You have to be a complete idiot to believe anything in this video.
@MacHead31 This clip only shows the process of tearing the foreskin from the glans. As these two structures are fused at birth and continue to stay fused for years in to the future, this video is still very accurate.
In the US the three most common methods are the plastibell, gomoco clamp and the mogen clamp all of which have been around for 50 yrs or more and they all require that the foreskin to be forcefully separated from the glans prior to the devices being put in place.
@MacHead31 Not unless you are a professor of urology at a major medical school, you need to give specific practices, instruments, and procedures that have changed. It would be fallacious to accept you as an authority until you back it up with some very specific and detailed information and documentation.
@MacHead31 Ok prove that this brief clip of a baby being circumcised was not done in the US by a doctor. How do you know this? The clip of the baby being circumcised is just a small excerpt from a larger clip that I am willing to bet that you have never seen.
Again prove your case why is this not a kid being circumcised in US hospital by a doc???
@neechee5150 Listen to what I am saying carefully. I am saying this clip is OLD and the clip of the woman talk IS NOT AS OLD as the clip of the baby. How do you not understand that?
You can google a video of how cir are done by most doctors CURRENTLY and they show the entire procedure.
@MacHead31 Here is exactly what you said "This video plays with emotions instead of facts. Cir are not even done like this anymore, and the pic of the penis in this video is not of anyone's penis in the US where it is done by a doctor. This video is VERY misleading"
You made the claim that this video was not of anyone penis in the US and that this circumcision is not being done by a doctor-dont try to manipulate and change your story. Prove your assertion above and stop changing the story
@neechee5150 Go look at everyone's penis in the US. Go in locker rooms if you want I don't care. I have my own reason and evidence to believe that those pics are not done in good practice by physicians in the US. A trained doctor in the US would not make a huge mistake like the penis in this video.
I can make a video about how a black man stole my car, does that make it believable and do people now have to prove me wrong? NO!
@MacHead31 Again you give nothing but your claims and your opinion. You are circumventing the issue and using fallacies instead of providing clear solid answers to the questions. What was the specific mistake made in this brief clip? What evidence does your locker room study of penises give to prove that this brief clip of an infant circumcision is not performed in the US and by a doctor?
@MacHead31 Dorsal penile nerve block & the ring block are two separate proceedures. Add in the use of topical EMLA & you have the three most popular means anesthesia during infant circumcision. However, the medical literature makes it absolutely clear that many circumcisions performed in the US are still performed in the US without any kind of anesthesia. If as you claim the doctor did not use either a ring or a dorsal block, it still does not prove that this proceedrue was not done in the US
@MacHead31 While this video clip is not good quality, the glans is visable as the doctor begins to trim off the foreskin. So what specific part(s) is missing from the infants penis as a result of this proceedure other than the foreskin?
Nothing you have posted proves that this proceedure was not performed in a US hospital/clinic and by a doctor. For all you know this guy could be a plastic surgeon or a urologist. You make claims of lies and manipulation but have not backed them up
@neechee5150 You must not have read my last comment. Your right. I saw a cir done at a hospital and I guess I must of had wax in my ears because I didn't hear any screams and my eyes must be bad because I didn't see any of the disturbing pictures like in this video... But your right all you have to do is watch this video to know what a cir is like. God help this messed up country.
@neechee5150 You say that like the foreskin is not relevant, but it is very precious tissue -- it is possibly the MOST sexually sensitive part of the penis. Cut men are deprived of much sensation.
@nightsdreamparadox You need to re-read my posts. I never said that the foreskin was not relevant. All of my posts on this video. My posts were just proving that MacHead31 made false and misleading clailms about the circumcision proceedure in this video that he did not and can not prove. When confronted, he changed his story because all he had was conjecture.
My posision is: if it is not your penis, it is not your decision-period.
"My posision is: if it is not your penis, it is not your decision-period."
Then I agree: every boy's foreskin must STAY right where mother nature put it, until he becomes an adult and somehow come up with the freaky idea to have a piece of his cock cut off.
@nightsdreamparadox I never said that the foreskin was not relevant. You need to re-read my posts. I am well aware of the ignorance regarding the purpose of the foreskin and the number of nerve endings and special cells that are found in the foreskin. The central theme to all of my posts is this-adults have no right to force their genital aesthetic prefrences upon a helpless child.
@MacHead31 I understand perfectly what your claims are, & now that you are being asked to back them up and to prove your case, you are changing your story. You have yet to elaborate on specific procedures, instruments and techniques that have changed in the past two decades for common infant circumcisions.
Until you give specific examples of changes made in the techniques, instruments, and procedures used in infant circumcision over the past two decades plus you are only stating your opinion
@neechee5150 I don't have to prove anything to you. If you want to be dumb and not investigate this video that is your prob. I have seen a cir done in real life. If you want to know what it is like google it. I have seen a video of it being done in current times and it is nothing like this video.
@MacHead31 Once again you resort to ad hominem (if you want to be dumb) instead of backing up your claims. Again what specifically is different? Also this brief clip only shows the fused foreskin being torn from the glans, and one way or another this is still done today and the way that it is done has not changed significantly over the past 50 yrs. Which circumcision device did you see being used? Not one of them does not require tearing the foreskin from the glans of the infant penis.
@neechee5150 I just find the pics like in :58 and ect.. to be dumb and pointless. There is no getting around this argument... This video plays with emotions to persuade opinion.
Anesthesia is used in ALL hospitals now. Show me these AMA stats.
@MacHead3 Two fairly recent national studies quoted by medscape found that 26% of the OB and family practice residency programs in did not even provide instruction on pain control during infant circumcision. The other study found that only 71% of pediatricains, 56% of family practice docs and 25% of OB/GYN use some form of anesthesia during circumcision.
54% of the docs who chose not to use anesthesia did so because of side effect concerns. The other 44% did not think it was necessary
@MacHead31 true you can, but if you believe that all hospitals use anesthesia prior to infant circumcision that alone indicates that you have not done any significant studying of the trends in infant circumcision in the US.
Medscape A Pictorial and Video Guide to Circumcision Without Pain: Anesthesia for Neonatal Circumcision: Physician Knowledge, Training, and Practices
@MacHead31 In 2000 the AMA stats are that only 45% of infants receive some form of legit anesthesia prior to circumcision. While the AMA, AAP and CPS all recommend the use of anesthesia, not all doctors follow that recommendation.
No where in the AMA or AAP documentation or associated journals will you find that the majority much less all infants receive anesthesia prior to being circumcised.
Too many ignorant doctors and parents still believe that the baby does not feel pain
@MacHead31 the video clip of the actual procedure should include good quality high fidelity audio and the camera should clearly show the baby's face, body, and reactions. To edit the video so that the audio is subdued, masked or absent is not honest. To not show the baby's facial expressions and body movements is minimizing the experience and not honest either.
When it is all said and done, circumcision is painful & informed consent requires that parents know the reality of their choice
@MacHead31 Yah right like nowadays ripping off the most protective, sensual and erotic part of a baby's penis is so advanced than when they ripped it off a decade before. The techniques of genital mutilation of children have come a long way in a decade. What a psychopath!
We're born without clothes but wear them, some put holes in their earlobes for earrings when there were none and some males are cut and many are not. As long as circumcision is done ethically and correctly then there will be no problem. Locker room concerns should not be the reason to be for or against the procedure. That is just silly. There are pros and cons to each side of the issue. Parents should choose carefully when making the decision to cut or not to cut?
@stsr23 Comparing genital mutilation of children with ear piercings and wearing clothes (!?) is fucked up. Are you unable to reason? This issue here is one of huamn rights to body integrity. You want to have part of your penis cut off, great you body your choice. Doing this to a child without regard for that child's wishes is a sexual assault.
@EnoFrisk grow up Eno..........let me put it to you another way........Jesus was circumcised.
You are so over the top on this issue and can't even speak intelligently on the matter. Women like circumcised organs and it is easier to use a condom too when circumcised. You view as genital mutilation is ridiculous. You want to talk about cutting the umbilical cord too?? Is that mutilation too? Get a life.
@stsr23 This is a classic case of argument by false analogy. The umbilical cord has to be cut both for practical reasons and due to potential major health problems for both child and infant. Also every species on earth that uses an umbilical cord sever the cord at birth.
The foreskin on the other hand does not have to be severed. It proposes no health problems to mother if left intact, and it poses no major health risk to the baby if left intact.
@stsr23 " Women like circumcised organs" This is a very geographical egocentric comment that reveals a lack of knowledge regarding the rest of the civilized world. Second, millions of women living outside the US and Canada prefer an uncircumcised penis and they think it is brutal and perverse that baby's are subjected to this procedure without their informed consent. Third, unless you have questi0oned at least 2000 women in the US your sample is too small to draw any valid inferences.
Im completely against snipping off any part of my or a babys penis but has anyone else noticed that almost all these women pushing circumcision are babes?
that blond woman is living up to the reputation of blonds. What is this "locker room" obsession in the US? Where are these people educated? Why do they consider mutilation of the genitals with all the horrific consequences because for 0.0000000001% of the time of their lives they drop their pants in a "locker room" and some other demented jerks starts to stare at someone elses genitals?? What IS going on over there??????. This spectacular irresponsible stupidity has yet to be rivalled.
Dr Alanna Levine The parent is NOT the patient!! You didn't have consent from the patient! Someone outta hold her down against her will and chop of her clitorial hood foreskin!!
It does not matter what the mother thinks. Sorry ladies, but I speak from experience that you will never have. Never circumcise your baby boys. If they want it later, whatever. But the first thing a mother does is have a knife taken to her sons penis??? Get her some inpatient therapy, and leave the best part of being a man alone.
Another ignorant bitch who probably has mutilated infants, so she wheels out all the typical myths, superstitions and excuses for it--AND ignores the inherent damage and risks--up to and including deaths..
Gotta work hard and lie a lot to wash that blood off her hands.
For decades I hid my foreskin in the locker room. Then I met my accepting wife. Then I began to read women saying on the internet that they'd been with both and preferred uncut. I met men who were sad, even devastated, by their circumcisions. And thus the truth dawned on me: I was god awful lucky. I thought I was an ugly duckling but in fact was a swan...
The bud of skin on the tip of johnson is not eye candy for the locker room. It's supposed to turn women on during foreplay and intercourse.
"Don't want to be the odd-man out" What rubbish. If this woman's teenage son wanted a tattoo because his buddies got one, I bet she wouldn't let him. Anyway, as far as not having a damaged dick is concerned, that's one scenario in which I'd be proud to be the odd-man out.
i agree with her i have an uncircumcised penis but i did notice all of friends have a circumcised penis and i dont like the idea of cutting the foreskin but its just what the majority of kids have
@The187Legacy 80% of the world's men are intact, they have their whole penis as nature intended. In cultures where children are routinely mutilated people are brought up to see that as "normal", its not it's sick. Travel, get some experience outside your neighbourhood (country) and you'll be very glad you're intact.
The question that Dr. Levine was sadly never asked is the most important one-how do you as a doctor morally and ethically justify removing a non diseased body part from and infant with out his consent. I would also want to know how much extra profit she makes per delivery of a male baby by getting the parents to circumcise their boy. Women--if it is not your penis it is not your decision. It is time that the feminists be confronted on their blatant hypocrisy of the my body=my decision mantra
hey, ladies - are you aware that they used to circumcise little girls in the USA? would you be discussing this so casually if it was YOUR genitals that were to be cut?
ladies, wake up! read my book. get a clue.
this is ugly, ugly stuff and you are talking about it as if it is as innocuous as taking a walk in the park. you are making boys into the men you have a hard time understanding & relating to. circumcision traumatizes baby boys & ruins their adult sex lives.
"Looking the same in the locker room" is no longer an issue because most boys being born today are being left intact and the amount of boys still being circumcised is only 33%. Pretty soon it'll be the circumcised boys that are teased and embarrassed in the locker room.
My son (intact) experienced locker room issues, in the MidWest (USA) where circumcision rate is VERY high (at least back then). The ONLY time it ever was noticed, the boy who did the calling out of it was MORE ridiculed for looking, as everyone else questioned why he was looking. Was that boy gay?
To have someone be gay in the boys locker room is FAR more an issue to teenagers, that whether their parents chose to cut or not cut their son years ago.
@BryTee Exactly...we guys don't go around checking out other guys junk. When in locker rooms you try to avoid looking at another guys butt or genitals and you certainly don't make remarks or comments about them.
As you said...that's just asking to get teased yourself.
"I'm a barbie girl, in a barbie world, wrapped in plastic, it's fantastic"! HAHAHA. That blonde bitch doesn't speak for me. I was NEVER naked in front of anyone in a locker room as I didn't succumb to the lie that one has to join in sports to be a "man". If I had been intact, I'd have been proud to show it off. "Dr. Klauss Barbie" up there on her high horse with her dollars signs and her Blonicks needs to have a lobotomy. She's a SEXIST QUACK! Couldn't watch the rest, too heartbreaking.
Whoa Dr. Barbie, enough of the Mc. Medicine already!
Since when did paediatricians care about cosmetic surgery? Does she advocate for breast implants for young girls too? I used to hate being the kid in the locker room without the bra.
Dr Levine, you do not understand how the parts cut off contribute to pleasure and functionality. You are blind to the rise of crunchy parenting. You do not see that no human should have his sexual equipment altered without his informed adult consent.
Worse yet, you pander to cowardly conformist parents who fear that their sons will have a Weird Dick. My wife of 23 years prefers intact. Her pleasure, and my pleasure from pleasing her, far outweigh any boyhood embarrassment.
ONE decision should be left to the father, HAHA?! What a sh!!y sexist attitude! Is it any wonder that they don't believe men have the right to refuse amputation?
This woman needs to be stripped and strapped down and have her genitals cut so she can feel what it would feel like for the baby. Because she obviously is a cold man hating evil woman
So she has patients, they come in for a problem, she treats them and then they just decide to circumcise their sons in front of her? Is that how it works?
Lockerroom argument? She's supposed to be a doctor, and the best thing she can think of is the lockerroom argument? Really?
Yeah. And her PATIENTS circumcise their sons? Does she not mean HER? What a self-serving charlatan. Absolutely disgusting. She's in the business of mutilating children.
What does she propose happen to the girls whose boobs are too small? Hips too big? Surgery for THEM so that they won't be teased in the lockerroom?
@JLC981 "What does she propose happen to the girls whose boobs are too small? Hips too big? Surgery for THEM so that they won't be teased in the lockerroom?"
Of course not. Few parents would condone their daughters getting cosmetic surgery. These girls would simply be told that there's nothing wrong with them, and would get a speech about being comfortable in their own skin, etc. Too bad that people don't leave boys' penises to be comfortable in their own skins.
This is one decision that should be left up to the BOY himself. It's HIS body, HIS rights.
That "locker room" argument is SO overrated. School is such a SMALL part of his entire life, and it is unlikely that he will feel better being around others who were mutilated by being mutilated himself.
The locker room argument is B/S. There are going to be A LOT of intact boys in the locker room, probably close to half, so that argument falls apart. But even if all but one boy was cut, boys don't get naked in the locker room these days, they keep their underwear on, even when I was in high school in the early 1990's not a single kid ever let his junk show. The argument falls apart in many others ways, but I have no more space here. This is nothing but yet another excuse to cut.
@freedom0speech It's another excuse for her to convince parent's to let HER cut their son's foreskin off, so that SHE can make more MONEY.
What a lame excuse for a doctor...she should have her license removed for advocating circumcision. In my opinion, doctors should not be allowed to advise parents to get their child circumcised. They should perhaps only be allowed to provide information about and links to information about circumcision, not actually promote circumcision.

If as you claim the doctor did not use either a ring or a dorsal block, it still does not prove that this proceedrue was not done in the US
neechee5150 8 months ago
@neechee5150 Yes your right.
MacHead31 8 months ago
@neechee5150 In a locker room males are not missing half of their penis like in this video.
MacHead31 8 months ago
@MacHead31 While this video clip is not good quality, the glans is visable as the doctor begins to trim off the foreskin. So what specific part(s) is missing from the infants penis as a result of this proceedure other than the foreskin?
Nothing you have posted proves that this proceedure was not performed in a US hospital/clinic and by a doctor. For all you know this guy could be a plastic surgeon or a urologist. You make claims of lies and manipulation but have not backed them up
neechee5150 8 months ago
@neechee5150 You must not have read my last comment. Your right. I saw a cir done at a hospital and I guess I must of had wax in my ears because I didn't hear any screams and my eyes must be bad because I didn't see any of the disturbing pictures like in this video... But your right all you have to do is watch this video to know what a cir is like. God help this messed up country.
MacHead31 8 months ago
@neechee5150 You say that like the foreskin is not relevant, but it is very precious tissue -- it is possibly the MOST sexually sensitive part of the penis. Cut men are deprived of much sensation.
nightsdreamparadox 7 months ago
@nightsdreamparadox You need to re-read my posts. I never said that the foreskin was not relevant. All of my posts on this video. My posts were just proving that MacHead31 made false and misleading clailms about the circumcision proceedure in this video that he did not and can not prove. When confronted, he changed his story because all he had was conjecture.
My posision is: if it is not your penis, it is not your decision-period.
neechee5150 7 months ago
@neechee5150
"My posision is: if it is not your penis, it is not your decision-period."
Then I agree: every boy's foreskin must STAY right where mother nature put it, until he becomes an adult and somehow come up with the freaky idea to have a piece of his cock cut off.
nightsdreamparadox 7 months ago
@nightsdreamparadox I never said that the foreskin was not relevant. You need to re-read my posts. I am well aware of the ignorance regarding the purpose of the foreskin and the number of nerve endings and special cells that are found in the foreskin. The central theme to all of my posts is this-adults have no right to force their genital aesthetic prefrences upon a helpless child.
neechee5150 6 months ago
@MacHead31 I understand perfectly what your claims are, & now that you are being asked to back them up and to prove your case, you are changing your story. You have yet to elaborate on specific procedures, instruments and techniques that have changed in the past two decades for common infant circumcisions.
Until you give specific examples of changes made in the techniques, instruments, and procedures used in infant circumcision over the past two decades plus you are only stating your opinion
neechee5150 8 months ago
@neechee5150 I don't have to prove anything to you. If you want to be dumb and not investigate this video that is your prob. I have seen a cir done in real life. If you want to know what it is like google it. I have seen a video of it being done in current times and it is nothing like this video.
MacHead31 8 months ago
@MacHead31 Once again you resort to ad hominem (if you want to be dumb) instead of backing up your claims. Again what specifically is different? Also this brief clip only shows the fused foreskin being torn from the glans, and one way or another this is still done today and the way that it is done has not changed significantly over the past 50 yrs. Which circumcision device did you see being used? Not one of them does not require tearing the foreskin from the glans of the infant penis.
neechee5150 8 months ago
@Bonobo3D RoseFink makes the same type of bogus claims that the youtube user ShockofGod makes.
MacHead31 8 months ago
@MacHead31 what specific differences would we observe in a 80's circumcision video from a 90's or 2000's circumcision video?
Anesthesia? it becoming more popular but still not used in the majority of cases per AMA statistics
Device used? the gomoco clamp, moegan clamp and the plastibell are the most common devices and they have been around for 50 yrs plus.
Circumcision restraint tables? the circumstriant table and similar devices have been widely used for decades and are still in use
neechee5150 8 months ago
@neechee5150 I just find the pics like in :58 and ect.. to be dumb and pointless. There is no getting around this argument... This video plays with emotions to persuade opinion.
Anesthesia is used in ALL hospitals now. Show me these AMA stats.
MacHead31 8 months ago
@MacHead3 Two fairly recent national studies quoted by medscape found that 26% of the OB and family practice residency programs in did not even provide instruction on pain control during infant circumcision. The other study found that only 71% of pediatricains, 56% of family practice docs and 25% of OB/GYN use some form of anesthesia during circumcision.
54% of the docs who chose not to use anesthesia did so because of side effect concerns. The other 44% did not think it was necessary
neechee5150 8 months ago
@neechee5150 I can read stats for myself. Where is your source?
MacHead31 8 months ago
@MacHead31 true you can, but if you believe that all hospitals use anesthesia prior to infant circumcision that alone indicates that you have not done any significant studying of the trends in infant circumcision in the US.
Medscape A Pictorial and Video Guide to Circumcision Without Pain: Anesthesia for Neonatal Circumcision: Physician Knowledge, Training, and Practices
neechee5150 8 months ago
@MacHead31 In 2000 the AMA stats are that only 45% of infants receive some form of legit anesthesia prior to circumcision. While the AMA, AAP and CPS all recommend the use of anesthesia, not all doctors follow that recommendation.
No where in the AMA or AAP documentation or associated journals will you find that the majority much less all infants receive anesthesia prior to being circumcised.
Too many ignorant doctors and parents still believe that the baby does not feel pain
neechee5150 8 months ago
@MacHead31 the video clip of the actual procedure should include good quality high fidelity audio and the camera should clearly show the baby's face, body, and reactions. To edit the video so that the audio is subdued, masked or absent is not honest. To not show the baby's facial expressions and body movements is minimizing the experience and not honest either.
When it is all said and done, circumcision is painful & informed consent requires that parents know the reality of their choice
neechee5150 8 months ago
@MacHead31 Yah right like nowadays ripping off the most protective, sensual and erotic part of a baby's penis is so advanced than when they ripped it off a decade before. The techniques of genital mutilation of children have come a long way in a decade. What a psychopath!

sounds like an argument to keep kids OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOM! not a reason to practice foreskin amputation and infantile mutilation
sensidee 8 months ago
We're born without clothes but wear them, some put holes in their earlobes for earrings when there were none and some males are cut and many are not. As long as circumcision is done ethically and correctly then there will be no problem. Locker room concerns should not be the reason to be for or against the procedure. That is just silly. There are pros and cons to each side of the issue. Parents should choose carefully when making the decision to cut or not to cut?
stsr23 9 months ago
@stsr23 Comparing genital mutilation of children with ear piercings and wearing clothes (!?) is fucked up. Are you unable to reason? This issue here is one of huamn rights to body integrity. You want to have part of your penis cut off, great you body your choice. Doing this to a child without regard for that child's wishes is a sexual assault.
EnoFrisk 9 months ago
@EnoFrisk grow up Eno..........let me put it to you another way........Jesus was circumcised.
You are so over the top on this issue and can't even speak intelligently on the matter. Women like circumcised organs and it is easier to use a condom too when circumcised. You view as genital mutilation is ridiculous. You want to talk about cutting the umbilical cord too?? Is that mutilation too? Get a life.
stsr23 8 months ago
@stsr23 This is a classic case of argument by false analogy. The umbilical cord has to be cut both for practical reasons and due to potential major health problems for both child and infant. Also every species on earth that uses an umbilical cord sever the cord at birth.
The foreskin on the other hand does not have to be severed. It proposes no health problems to mother if left intact, and it poses no major health risk to the baby if left intact.
This argument does not hold any water
neechee5150 8 months ago
@stsr23 " Women like circumcised organs" This is a very geographical egocentric comment that reveals a lack of knowledge regarding the rest of the civilized world. Second, millions of women living outside the US and Canada prefer an uncircumcised penis and they think it is brutal and perverse that baby's are subjected to this procedure without their informed consent. Third, unless you have questi0oned at least 2000 women in the US your sample is too small to draw any valid inferences.

@The187Legacy 80% of the world's men are intact, they have their whole penis as nature intended. In cultures where children are routinely mutilated people are brought up to see that as "normal", its not it's sick. It is time that the feminists be confronted on their blatant hypocrisy of the my body=my decision mantra
neechee5150 1 year ago 8
Holy crap...this woman is a doctor??
talk about ignorant of the facts...when's the last time she was in a teenaged boys school locker room???
What the hell does she know? only the grapevine rumours that boys will get teased in the locker room if intact. What complete RUBBISH.
I was in school locker rooms and still go to the pool and in locker rooms, etc.

hey, ladies - are you aware that they used to circumcise little girls in the USA? would you be discussing this so casually if it was YOUR genitals that were to be cut?
ladies, wake up! read my book. get a clue.
this is ugly, ugly stuff and you are talking about it as if it is as innocuous as taking a walk in the park. you are making boys into the men you have a hard time understanding & relating to. circumcision traumatizes baby boys & ruins their adult sex lives.
RapeOfInnocence 1 year ago 12

BryTee 1 year ago 3
@BryTee Exactly...we guys don't go around checking out other guys junk. When in locker rooms you try to avoid looking at another guys butt or genitals and you certainly don't make remarks or comments about them.
As you said...that's just asking to get teased yourself.
The locker room argument is mostly rubbish.

She is an absolute airhead.
JLC981 1 year ago 2
@JLC981 "What does she propose happen to the girls whose boobs are too small? Hips too big? Surgery for THEM so that they won't be teased in the lockerroom?"
Of course not. Few parents would condone their daughters getting cosmetic surgery. These girls would simply be told that there's nothing wrong with them, and would get a speech about being comfortable in their own skin, etc. Too bad that people don't leave boys' penises to be comfortable in their own skins.
TheWorstWarlock 1 year ago
The locker room argument is ridiculous. How hard is it to say "Stop staring at my dick, Freak!"
Besides, 2/3 of US boys are now being left intact.
Foreskin feels REALLY good.
TLCTugger 1 year ago 5
This is one decision that should be left up to the BOY himself. It's HIS body, HIS rights.
That "locker room" argument is SO overrated. School is such a SMALL part of his entire life, and it is unlikely that he will feel better being around others who were mutilated by being mutilated himself.
lochinvar00465 1 year ago 6
The locker room argument is B/S. There are going to be A LOT of intact boys in the locker room, probably close to half, so that argument falls apart. But even if all but one boy was cut, boys don't get naked in the locker room these days, they keep their underwear on, even when I was in high school in the early 1990's not a single kid ever let his junk show. The argument falls apart in many others ways, but I have no more space here. This is nothing but yet another excuse to cut.
freedom0speech 1 year ago 33
@freedom0speech It's another excuse for her to convince parent's to let HER cut their son's foreskin off, so that SHE can make more MONEY.
What a lame excuse for a doctor...she should have her license removed for advocating circumcision. In my opinion, doctors should not be allowed to advise parents to get their child circumcised. They should perhaps only be allowed to provide information about and links to information about circumcision, not actually promote circumcision.
