What he is able to do that no one seems they can is shoot shots with deadly accuracy on the way down, and that also gives the appearance of hang time. Huge hands, amazing mid air body control, and stlyle...I give you Michael Jordan..forget about what was to come when he displayed incredible resilience against losing and unearthly clutchness.

Well more power would equal you have now jumped higher than me so therefore you'd be in the air longer. Gravity is a constant. MJ did jump higher then 99% of the league LOL but couple that with his ability to shoot either traveling sideways or while on the way down and you get amazing shots. Plus he used his legs a lot when dunking off 2 feet where he would pull his knees up and then kick out. I would think that may add to the momentum. Either way It's obvious by his vids that it worked LOL

u r right to an extent on the hangtime thing. in retrospect yes with on average hi jumpers tend to exhibit similar length of hangtime but its the perception of it is wat separates ppl. kind of like wat MJ said himself.. its all perception in which while either on ur way up or in mid air u feel like time is just takin its time waitin for u to make up your mind or to execute a desired action b4 returnin to land. i've done this enough to kno when I am in that mind state for friends to be amazed.
