I know this video is old, but that substrate isn't very good. If you took out at least half the repti bark and replaced it with some eco earth or coco fiber material, it would allow them to burrow better, since that's what they like to do. Not to mention it would better keep humidity. Nice looking critters though, they're very lovely!
What is the song / music you have in the backround? .. I'll buy one of those this week, I thought. but are they like that that they attack you when you have your hand down in their area? ..

yea, thats definetely not a good substrate for it. I would suggest eco earth coco fiber its cheap and u get a lot of it. otherwise u got yourself a neat little set up. good luck.
Hi me again ^^ I have another question, I remember i seen a video or someone's black emp scorpion acting really pissy, and they said it was because before shooting the video they had music playing [not next to it but you get the idea] and they sound that that some music bothers them[ i guess the sensory system ] is that also true for yours?
mine was acting up because i only had him for a couple days, but now he's fine i purposely try to get stung but didn't, but i do believe that music can probably affect the way they react.

the substrate needs to be changed! coco nut fibers what it needs for moisture, and atleast 3 or 4 inches of it!

Please give it a minimum of 4 inches of coco fiber to maintain the humidity and to burrow through.
