Disney should go back to making musicals like this. Pete's Dragon may not be like Mary Poppins, but it was great songs and important life lessons behind it. I alwasys loved PETE'S DRAGON. I was like 13 when it came out and I own the LP record album to this day, but hadn't listened to it in years. The boy is SEAN MARSHALL, who only had limited work after this film. The film also starred Helen Reddy and Mickey Rooney. Great Disney film.
