@zedekar80 i use CS2, but that's just because I'm comfortable with it. I have seen artist way better than I am use Photoshop 7. You don't needs the newest version to paint digitally. There are also some free software out there.

what tool do you use to make paiting in photoshop like that? I'm suppose to learn how to use Photoshop CS3 it's just that's for the programme of studying I chose in college after high school(Quebec). I don't know the tools in english too much though but can you give me any tips to start with?

a pen tablet helps alot, makes it easier to draw. other than that I use a regular brush. do a google search for digital painting in photoshop tutorials and you should find some good examples.

The scimitars are named Twinkle (+5 defending scimitar) that he was given by a powerful elven druid type dude. That's the second. The first is named Icingdeath, which he did get from a white dragon's cave (+3? frost scimitar).

Drizzt is Passionless once he begins fighting. The hunter takes over, so to speak; it isnt a dance for survival, just two orcs. Easy stuff for Drizzt =D... *big fan*.

I'd say the only problem would be the swords. He uses scimitars, yknow, CURVED things. And, if this is before twinkle then cool, but, if afterwards, where's the glow? D=...

But yeah, I'v never seen Photoshop used like this before. I'm intrigued now... What brush was that?

No, the hunter was perfect rage, a being who had perfect dexterity and could ignore any damage given. Often when in the hunter drizzt roars and howls like a beast, like the beginning of exile when killing what i think was a basalisk. But he is passionless here, all it takes is a flick of his wrist and the orcs' throats are slit.

the blades are curved. At least the sharpened edge is, which is realistic and how Drizzt's swords are usually depicted. No one would fucking curve an entire sword. it would look ridiculous, scimitar or otherwise

Twinkle's glow is triggered by command. And as for the scimitars being curved, if you've ever seen any of the replicas of them, only the cutting edge was actually curved. And Drizzt doesn't always become the "hunter." He tries his best not to go to that stage. If he was fighting many opponents, cornered and with a huge chance of death, then he will probably become the hunter.

lulz i remember my dad being able to kill drizzt when i was bout 7 or sommin but thats besides the point. this was one of the most kickass paintings of drizzt. you rly need to consider working as an artist for forgotten realms you are that good. For years I am also interested in doing some illustrations in the Fantasy Genre, and i try and try but how should i say, my drawings are still crap. (i just do them on paper, with a pen).

i got a bigger one 7inch x11inch and it was close to 300 usd, but there are cheaper ones out there that work good too. i started drawing alot when i was 17, sketching mostly in a small notebook. then took some traditional art classes in college, which im still taking. they are good for understandin color. just keep practicing, youll get better :)
