Great vid I was born in Fugalei where the maketi is now and the land was own by my family Great people and priti cruzin lifestyle I agreed I don't like to see Samoa as another tourist junks like Fiji, or other pacific islands

The firedancing in the video was taken at Tanu Beach Fales on Savaii island. Are you from Samoa? How long did you live there?
My wife and I spent 1 year traveling around the world. Samoa was our last stop before coming back home to Colorado. Samoa is a special place - very relaxing, such friendly people, and different traditions and culture. I'd love to go back before it gets discovered by too many tourists.
If you get the chance to go back, take a trip around to Boomerang Creek Resort on Upolu - we used to go there on Saurday's for the fia fia and it was just magic. I'm Australian but my family and I lived there for about a year and a half and it's the most beautiful place on earth in my opinion! We lived in Puipaa, Apia but never got the chance to get over to Savaii. I think that helps to make it so special - that its still relatively undiscovered by tourists
