  • this is a great film IMO

  • Luh Luhmehnich needs tah lurn how ta talk betta.

  • great movie

  • A++ for this movie. No movie before has covered the joys and shortcomings of rootlessness like this movie. It's a complicated and smart movie and George Clooney brilliantly portrays a man of deep and subtlety pained humanity, but who isn't a softhearted misfit that in the end only longs to fit in or some other formulaic character motivation. At some level the world he has created for himself is one devoid of meaningful human interaction, a true connections of souls. cont

  • However, as we see the "real" word ultimately has the same limitations. The movie is wonderfully subtle and complex in expressing the message and reminds me of Frost's The Road Not Taken. It's an emotionally smart movie that it's a rarity in this day and age (or any for that matter) and I can't recommend it enough.

  • Very, very good film. The only problem I had was the ending. George Clooney's character's didn't have the right send off I think. It was pretty depressing but a definite eye opener.

  • @PLMQAZED you're obviously on crack. Just because it doesn't have explosions and Pocahontas with smurfs (aka as Avatar) which is all that the brainwashed, lazy, mindless, human beings like any more. Not many people look at things like acting (which was superb) and screenwriting (which should have won the oscar).

  • @cheercats07 you have no fuckin taste in movies go fuck yourself you lifeless son of a bitch

  • #FTW Zero Cost Movies . com #OMG - it's free here

  • George Clooney's boss in this movie epitomizes the typical generation-X executive ASSHOLES that are running American corporations right now. Heartless, cold, greedy, arrogant, no background of suffering and struggle--everything you could ever find despicable in a human being. God help us in the NEXT 20 years.

  • @ejdf870 did you not watch the movie? At the end of the movie, and after everything that he went through we see that, that's really not who he is at all

  • @cheercats07 Exactly, in the MOVIE he does this.

  • What the frick....the voice of the guy is so hard to understand...

  • I can barely understand what the narrator is saying

  • the reviewer's voice is horrible.

  • i just finished watchin' this movie.... and to be honest i didnt expected something like that from it...i mean.. i dont know... im like...no idea how to explain it...theres somethin' about tha way a feel right now, a can definitely say i noticed alot from this movie. What im tryin' to say is tha following, this movie was very helpful to me.

  • in today's world when individualism is looked down upon as fear of commitment n responsibility, the way this flick celebrates the same is simply awe spiring. best movie i have seen in quiet a while. mindblowing shit.

Re: 'Up In The Air' Movie Review - New York Post by emaleighgarland30

  • LOVED Bright Star :)

  • Great movie although quite pretentious.

  • @rileyquinn94 Wha?It's not pretentious in the slightest lol. That word is too over-used nowadays

  • Check out my review of Avatar and Up in the Air on my channel's "Shara Ashley Show" Episode #3! Its awesome, it rocks. Its not washed like old smelly laundry forgotten tube socks. :)

  • the best of 2009

  • @randomacb123 I would have to agree

  • This was one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time!

  • The greatest boring actor. Imagine what Cary Grant could have done with this.
