  • I will definitely be following your recipe! Thanks for the informative vid!

  • I'm using henna on my locs tomorrow I was wandering was it hard to wash out of your locs? I've used henna in the past before locs but wanted to know if it would be hard to wash out

  • @NaturallyXposed I used good quality henna that was sifted finely and mixed it well. I'm, it was much easier to rinse out than dye but still took time.

  • Thank you for a great instructional video. I used your video as a guide to go ahead and create my henna mixture for my locs. I'm going to let it sit tonight and put it on tomorrow. I hope my hair comes out as beautiful as yours did.

  • @queennovi I hope it works for you!

  • i need some tips on dreads for hispanics do u have any other tips u can share with me

  • @Tx16J Unfortunately aside from the general locs advice in my videos I don't have any experience with non-kinky textures. I would do lots of research and then experiment until you know what works for you.

  • @pinkwolf78 Yeah, I'm really happy with the color. After the second application the red darkened and I have a much smoother transition from the dark brown to the auburn parts. My locs also feel very strong and just healthy.

  • I love it! It really looks great.

  • @MissMash76 I love it too. Did a henna gloss last night and my locs feel amazing.

  • Your hair came out really nice!

Did you really squish it in? I'm paranoid about stuff getting into the center of my locs and not being able to get it out.

  • @DailyGazelle I did since it's natural and won't kill my core like chem would. Plus I squish both my shampoo and water when washing. I figured the henna is thicker than either shampoo or water and both would go in deep enough to pull it out over a few washes. I didn't deliberately try to get it in the core but I squished it a little on each strand.

  • you do really great videos with good information

  • @twun24 Wow, that is a huge compliment. Thank you!

  • @quotidianlight no problem and your welcome

  • you my dear is a plethora of information

  • @lockedlesbian I glad you found it informative.

  • Wow, another great informative vid!!!! The color is awesome,,,cant wait to see it again in a couple of days cause the color will get richer!

  • @llailapooh I'll definitely do another set of shot in a couple days see how the color changes.

  • Wow it came out very nice... Now at least I know where I went wrong, when I used henna before!

  • @Ateey68 Sometimes I think the youtube natural hair community is really a giant scientific experiment on our hair. I've learned so much and it feels good to pass it on.

  • great video like always: very informative! ur hair looks great!

  • @wagechi29 I'm glad you found it useful

  • I like it !!

    I came out nice

  • @Asha3000 Thank you, I like the color so far and can't wait for it to deepen.

  • Looks good. I really like the way your locs turned out!

I have thought about henna but my hair hates protein and if henna has a drying effect like proteins do, I can't go that route :(

    Another excellent video!

  • @naturalgurlaz I don't know, most people with problems did repeated full treatments instead of just getting the color they want and then doing touch ups. You might try a super moisturizing mix but the color molecule does attach to the keratin in the hair. I will say, my hair is a little dry and sucking up moistures but not near as dry as the first month after I used a chemical dye. I'm babying it for the next week.

  • That came out very nice....I really like it!

  • @F8THSPKS Thank you, I love it so far.
