I just attained my first prestige! I adore this game, its great. Thank our god that i did not have to fork out for it. Me and my buddy just downloaded it from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ), and put it on our college's pc's. I'm downloading the actual new map pack now from that web-site, i'll tell you if the new maps are worthwhile.

not so much a sniperfest  but theres a map called round house that is sooooo piss annoying it has a glitch that you can go under the map and every one uses it and shoots you from underneathe and you cant shoot back it just takes the fun right out of it

I'd say more brutal than COD4, although fewer weapons of choice!
