Good video as ever, Hairy. I'm ashamed that I live in the next state to Ohio and I wasn't aware of such good news that normal service may be resumed soon. Now if the good people of Ohio could have a word in the ear of the idiot Ed Rendell, govenor of PA, maybe we too can be saved from all this nonsense
I find it very reasuring that JeanScallopsidi is one of my subscribers. It pleases me to know that my videos are so threatening to the antis hate campaign, that they feel the need to keep tabs on me. On top of which, his own failing arguments do more harm to his selfish cause than my videos ever could ;-)

Greetings from Ohio! On December 7, 2006, a public smoking ban went into effect as the result of a public referendum. Everybody I know is happy about it. There was an attempt to overturn the ban through another referendum. But nobody voted for it! What's your beef with Democracy, HairyChestnuts?
By what right do those that hate smoking consider themselves empowered to vote on what other people can do on their own property? That is not democracy, that is tyranny.
If you had paid attention to my exact words you would have noticed that I didn't say "Democracy is tyranny", what I actually said was that people imposing their idea of democracy on others is tyranny. By all means vote on public property (buildings owned by the public like libraries, council chambers, etc), but you should not be able to hold votes regarding the property of others.
Bars, restuarents and any other business are not public property simply because the owner permits public access.
Hairy, this loser doesn't pay attention to ANYTHING. According to JS, any place open to public business is actually OWNED by the public, which is the opposite of democracy.
Also, their ban is so draconian that the negative impact of the ban can't be ignored. (Note that this ill-informed person swears that all Ohioans are in love with the ban! *snort* Not quite.) Antitobacco in Ohio have been financially/politically castrated by the governor and branded a "rogue agency" by the media.
Also, Hairy, note that this maladjusted antismoker is on the losing side and, hence, can only resort to childish attacks. In this case, it's the "addiction" garbage--they also try to use the equally obnoxious and invalid insults of "you stink" and something about relieving oneself in a pool. They really are psychologically disturbed.
The voters voted for Issue 5, which is NOT what was enacted. Also, the petition used to put Issue 5 on the ballot was never certified, making it illegal. If the majority of the adults had wanted EVERY place of business to be antismoking, then the free market would have accomodated them years ago! Consumers vote with their feet and wallets not at the ballot box which is the reason the Governor (Strictland) raided the antitobacco funds for an economic stimulus package AFTER the smoking ban.
Governments around the world, local and national, should be made to realise that they can't waist peoples hard earned money like this! It amazes me that some of the poorest countries give money to false gods like ASH and the other anti-tobacco fascists while their people are starving all around them! It's now time to get rid of politicians that have so much disregard for the voters.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Democracy is tyranny? I guess freedom is slavery, too. You'll believe anything to keep smoking, HairyChestnuts. What an awful addiction.
