@cbatt91337 Yes, The Two Doctors was a major disappointment - even when I first saw it at 14, I found it boring. Not Robert Holmes' fault; he was given a brief to write to, elements for inclusion, but it never gelled and there was no real impetus to the narrative - like all the sixth Doctor stories, it was a lot about.... Nothing, really.
@randomdave30 Most were apart from the dalek one I still think its brilliantly directed and the music is amazing. Graham Harper did an excellent job (apart from the dalek voices) and it benifits from not having the Doctor in it so much.
thing is, i don't see why they don't do a collective doctors theme now; you have several who are still alive and let's face it - the new doctor matt smith could use the help 'coz he is not a patch on tennent!
@1980martyn I'M afraid Matt Smith is suffering from Bad Script syndrome I like his performance but when you get shit scripts and story lines there is nothing you can do. Blame the Moff.
Amazing! We watched it this week with our 5 and 3 year olds who were in awe! their imagination went wild and wanted more! So much healthier than Ben 10 and the like...bring back more originality to let childrens (and adults!) imagination run wild...what!
This is awesome,I'm only 13 so i wont remember this being on but i have the box set of the tv episodes - its probably one of my favourite movies/tv movies of all time, great work dude
Fantastic! I've got goose pimples just watching it. It takes me back to being seven. Coming home from school in the winter and sitting down watching this with my mum. Ever since being able to get it on video years ago, it's become a ritual to watch it every winter time. Happy, magical memories.
@charliefarley1000 Im glad it brought back some happy memories for you I did the same thing My grandmother recorded the whole lot on a repeat transmission and I think i wore that vhs out as a kid watching it so much.
Takes me back to when I was a boy watching this with my grandparents and brother!!!. The Doctoc Who lost regeneration with Bill and Pat is an April fools IMHO
@crispynewt Thanks mate I watched Chocky on youtube a few months back and was surprised Devin was in it. It was great but the sequals werent very good. Do you have it on DVD?
'The wolves are running' I say that almost every morning to my relief co-worker (when I'm on midnights) to tell him that I either saw or heard the wolves at night. And he never gets where it came from (shame on him).
any way, excellent job, and a nice tribute to your grandmother , I am sure she will be watching it over and over again!
always loved the Box of Delights :)

It would have been interesting to have seen Patrick Troughton play an older and wiser version of his Dr Who.

@randomdave30 the nearest you will get is The two Doctors im afraid shame. id be content with having his original run of who back in the archives.

Excellent trailer! The box of delights is by far the best children's programmes ever made and possibly one of the best dramas to grace our tv sets!!

i grew up with Patrick Troughton as the second Doctor Who and have always been interested in his work. A wonderful actor and human being!
Looks like a great serial!

@fingerone2010 He's brilliant in this although he is only in it for half the serial he steals the show.
