  • @joehandsome99 would this be a good plane to transition into 4 channel airplanes or would you recommend something else?

  • Good video.

How long are the flight times?

    Thanks

  • You can bind DSM2 receivers with DSMX transmitters right?

  • @typlosion1236 Yes you can

  • I want your shirt.... it's amazing!

  • can you also charge it with batterys ?

  • Hi Eric :P I'm wondering if you the Mosquito has the same battery plug as the other Ultra Micro Series :)

    Really nice vid :P

  • what skill level is this plane?

  • mowsqwuito!!

  • when r u goin to do a review on the mcp x?

  • alexgibb11

i agree with him cause i just got the um f-4u corsair and i have a couple complaints that i don't know what to do about them. my corsair if u cut the throttle at a lower speed it will pitch up and will instantaneously tip stall even if i push the stick up...... and when i roll it rolls extremely slow and if i pull up it will snap out??????? can anyone give me an answer

  • Hello, nice review..i have a few of this micro planes, and i think the trojan is the best, next the p-51...just my opinion both fly amaizing!!!..regards

  • i just got mine what 'modifications' do you think are necessary?

  • Holy $@#& you got a lot of rc planes. nice!

  • does it come with a remote?

  • Cool vid and some good tips on the batterys cheers.

very nice flying in what looked like a very windy day.

  • Eric, some help with pronunciation of English terms. This is an English aircraft after all! "MKVI" is pronounced Mark 6 (actually marque 6), not emm kay and short for Mosquito is Mozzie. Probably help with British and Australian audiences.

  • Nice, ill be picking one up tomorrow.

  • is the mosqito easeyer to fly than the corsair

  • Ive flown the hobbyzone champ and can fly it quite well. Im just wondering if i might be able to fly this plane. It looks beautiful and I love the twin engine design. Just wondering if i can fly this thing, thanks.

  • @MrKevin624 It depends on your skill level and you are the best one to answer that question. If you could fly something similar to this in a flight sim then I would say yes.

  • @joehandsome99 I need a DX7, could you sell me your old one at a reasonable price?

  • In the spoof at the end a prop came off. What did you have to do about it? That would be great review information. Thanks for the vid. and the info. -Mick

  • @mickvk That was actually the nose cone that came off so nothing was damaged. Thanks for watching Mick.

  • @joehandsome99 excuse me sir i was wondering how am i supposed to charge the mosquito and where could i find the 6 or 12 volt volt battery from?

  • Great video! I just picked up the PZ Mos a few days ago. I also have the T28. I do have a question/concern that I hope someone can give me more insight on.

When I picked up the Mos, I also picked up an extra battery, same size but the "C' was only 12c (EFLB2501S). Problem is when I plugged it into the Mos it started acting a little erratic. PZ said it was because of the current draw being to low (12c). So i am a bit confused as to why the 500mah lipo would work being also a 12c. thx.

  • PZ says the "C" needs to be 20 to 25c...No higher for the best draw. Normal battery works just fine.

  • @PBCool1 the 500 mAh lipo can produce the amp draw the motor needs. Not sure about the other battery though. I just flew mine a few minutes ago using the 500 mAh lipo and it did fine. Thanks for the compliment on the video.

  • @joehandsome99 One thing I noticed about the 500mAh 12c battery is the plane has slightly less power but longer flight times. It forced me to learn better conservation of energy while flying. Now I prefer the 500mAh because of the longer flight time..

  • @stevethomas277 I'm looking forward to that one myself.

  • Awesome review of a great plan Eric! Beaut job

  • @Jordmate Thanks kindly Richard.

  • Nice you have a dx 8. I just got the Dx6i. Also nice review!!!

  • @rcplaneflyer100 Yes, and it's a good radio.

  • @joehandsome99 well thats stupid

  • Great review! How do you think this plane compares to the Parkzone UM T-28? Which did you like better?

  • @righteouscandy I've always been a fan of the T28, but both planes are great in their own rights.

  • So if I don`t have either helicopters then would it be more practical for me to get a couple more batteries or get the heli`s? hhhmmmmmm I think getting the heli`s would be a better story to tell the wife , Do you think she will fall for it? heheheh Gr8 stuff . cool little plane. So many planes and not enough batteries heheh.

  • @lewandlo The 500 mAh battery would be a good choice. Longer flight times for sure.

  • Are you going to do a review on the BLADE mCP X ?!?!?!?

  • @theexpertrcpilot I've got one and some video done on it. Just need a little more time.

  • Great review. Did not expect this plane to be quite as agile as it is.

  • @rcflyer40plus1 and it flies well on the 500 mAh battery.

  • Good for you, I want one. Hopefully it will fly smoother than my Micro T-28.

  • Hey Eric,

I was just wondering if you could point me in the right direction on my second 4ch plane.Preferably under $300, Great Video as usual 5/5

  • @MrJED698 It depends on your ability. Try a flight sim and see which one you like most in it.

  • Sweet

  • @rcdudes123 Thanks.

  • @ossiegoldhill123 Thanks for the info. I realized that after I posted the video, but then it was too late. Thanks for watching.

  • I'm not sure using a different battery is considered a modification but great review! I think a mark 6 mossy is a great adder to the line up. If you have the micro F4U I'd like to know how it compares to my 44" parkzone version!

  • @Ispintechno1 It's not a radical mod, but none the less a modification. Looking at getting one of those micro Corsairs if it isn't too expensive. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.

  • Another great review & video Eric! I'll have to pass on this micro but if it was a P-38 Lightning that's a different story! Looking forward to your review of the micro F4U Corsair! Loving my Radian Pro & that's keeping me busy for a little while! Always looking forward to your next video!! Excellent job as usual!! Keep 'em coming!

  • @rcoconut If the price is decent on the Corsair I will be getting one. I flew my Radian yesterday and had a good time with it. Expect to see some video from that flight soon. Thanks for watching.

  • Nice. As you know from your last visit and my videos on the 500 mAh subject, I have been using those 500 mAh batteries in all my Micro planes with no problem for a long time.. Those that complain, do not understand electronics. It is not a bigger voltage to harm the motors, just a bigger "Tank" for longer run times, in addition to the regulated speed controls.

Looking forward to a combat with them when you come. I put lights on mine, so get ready for night combat. ~NightFlyyer~

  • @NightFlyyer Lights? You wouldn't be the NightFlyyer if it didn't have lights. hehe I've got some micro light kits laying around here and may just have to take you up on that challenge to night combat. Looking forward to my next visit. I'm already pumped up about the trip. Thanks for watching and the comment Dave. It is appreciated.

  • This is a great flying model. I picked one up last weekend.

  • @moolikeacow2 How are you liking it? I'm really enjoying mine.

  • @joehandsome99 I'm loving it. It is very maneuverable. solid little plane.

  • i like the new box...

  • @TheSPilot It has no carry handle on it though...

  • More flight time Joe yes but at what cost ? those brushed motors dont last long when over used thats my only worry with using a higher mAh lipo.

  • @fisherboom I've been flying the larger mAh batteries in most all of my micro planes with no problems so far. Brushed motors will stop working eventually no matter what the mAh rating is on the battery. Thanks for watching.

  • i like the battery tray on this its INSIDE the plane wich makes them look a hell of alot cleaner.

  • @Aircraftfreak155 yep that was a nice addition to this plane. Thanks for watching.

  • cool plane, looks great - and i really like the idea with the batteries, i guess i go for the 120 sr mod...maybe even change the battaryadapter to jst....thanks

  • @WarbirdFan66 Thats not a bad idea. Thanks for sharing.

  • I am soo jealous of your collection!

  • @bakonlicious Thanks for watching.

  • Nice video. I use the 500mAH battery with the Parkzone T-28. I myself will never buy a Horizon micro again. I have had four models. Time to move on to some different planes. I have been playing with the Funjet, DW Foamies and the J-Power 50mm EDF jets. The Parkzone micros do not do good with the wind and the foam is so thin. The micros tail section is always bending and breaking.

  • @photobart1 As long as they don't jack up the price I will probably still buy them. Thanks for watching.

  • Hey Eric great vid and review. What wind speed were you flying in, thnx.

  • @matticous10 5 to 8 mph winds and the plane handled it well. Thanks for watching.

  • that is really a great plane, awesome review too. Very thorough and detailed! Great Job!

  • @ramis182 Thanks kindly Ramis

  • Do you think that a Parkzone Airliner will ever be possible?

  • @runway34r Don't know but that sounds like a good idea to me.

  • You finally got it. Do you think you will ever get Parkzone T-28 trojan

  • @camberto5 I own two. Which one are you talking about?

  • If you're talking about the ultra micro, he already made a review.

  • yes finaly

  • @1995marines Yep! Thanks for watching.

  • great video. I got this plane the other day and i really enjoy it. If you can fly it in a low wind environment you will have a great time with it flies awesome. Check out my video

  • @Jaryd107 Thanks for watching.

  • If you were British you would realise that it is 'mark', as opposed to 'MK', and as for the people who said they don't like it...

I think all of us British people would LOVE a model Mossie.

  • Wish parkzone would listen to us and make a micro habu or a micro boeing

  • @benadrylp Belive me it's not just you. All they have to do is make a small moter. But it would be MINE!!!!!! When it comes out.But awesome idea!!!!!:)

  • @benadrylp Now that would be cool and I'd have to get one.

  • @benadrylp hey that boeing was my idea :) i sent it to them like months ago

  • Today is my birthday yeaP

  • Great looking plane. Great video.

  • @stevetinyhallman Thanks Steve.

  • I like it great for the park across the road from me {"_*}

  • @spektrum33 cool!

  • Great video as usual, thanks for the info on the other batteries too!

  • @apodacainc anytime, thanks for watching.

  • :-)

  • @Skydive4ever Thanks

  • I'm glad we got to see you again;) Nice flights!Good idea on the 500 mah batts

  • @jgoudeau207 Longer flight times for sure. Thanks for watching.

  • Hey! Who you calling a dummy cannon?

  • @Ceedeepee479 I'm calling you a dummy cannon. Gonna make something of it? I didn't think so...

  • How do you like the Dx8?

  • @rcdudes123 Very cool Tx and being able to share program settings is the bomb!

  • Hi Eric Looking good sir nice preview..

  • @TinkerManRC Thanks! I appreciate it.

  • IM loving these WW2 aircraft!

Thumbs up, and thanks for sharing!!

    John

  • @WORRO01 Thats great. Thanks for watching and the comment John. Your knife vid was sweet.

  • I think that battery also comes with the mcx tandem rescue.........i think

  • @flyingchimp99

    Yes, you're right!

  • @flyingchimp99 So I'm told it does, but I never bought the Tandem Rescue heli as I thought it was over priced. But, good to know though.

  • cool review. Gonna give this plane a miss though. I would rather get the new mcpx once they release the updated head on it.

  • @stalyoni Havent heard about that. I did hear to check the head when I got mine. No problems there and I've been having a blast with mine.

  • @joehandsome99 got mine yesterday and i love it. I put a small piece of plastic across the top and cotton around the links just to be on the safe side. Im using antmeeks dx6i settings and there great. I flew this around this morning like it was an msr. I sold my msr and mcx to buy this heli and so far i couldnt be happier. Check my videos, i have 2 up so far and another one uploading now. Have fun flying mate cause thats what its all about. We are the rockstars of the hobby world you and me!!!!

  • Hey Eric,

I was just wondering if you could point me in the right direction on my second 4ch plane.Preferably under $300, Great Video as usual 5/5

  • @MrJED698 There are so many to choose from. The T-28 might be a good fit, but you are the best person to ask.

  • @joehandsome99 Micro Or Normal Size

  • how much does it cost and does it come as a rtf.

    great vid eric!

    thx

  • @minileafe Not sure about a RTF as I bought a BNF, but you can find out the Horizon Hobby website for sure.

  • Great video i must say :)

  • @p3x197 Thanks kindly. I think I had a little help with the take off hmmm?

  • Very smart batterie adaption!!

  • @MrJasperDaniel Thank you

  • Can't wait for the F4U UM review.

  • @ussgrisham Me too! When are you posting it? ;)

  • Hey Eric. Good Video as usual!

Seemed quite windy out there for a UM plane.

Btw: The same battery already came with the Blade MCX Tandem Rescue.

    Regards

  • @fraggem I never bought the Blade Tandem Heli. They were too pricey for being a micro. Now you can get them for $50 because they are discontinuing them. Thanks for watching and the info.
