Super helpful thank you! I just bought hemp flats this past week and am excited to use them! This looks even better than our traditional Chinese prefolds!
finally thank you! no one else was folding them right i just have cloth diapers as a back up as every mother should and i dont have rubber pants or all that fancy stuff so its great to know i can do this with pins or just incase the little one gets a diaper rash! again thank you soooo much
Thank you so much for posting this video! I have been using the kite fold for my large, tall 18 month toddler but couldn't quite get it right. I had learned the fold from a photo on the web. Seeing you demonstrate it here helped me to know how to tuck in the crotch area so it was not so gappy on him. I just did the fold your way and put it on my son and it looks like it will work great! Thanks again! Very helpful!
@CautiousSaint glad it helped!! it took me a lot of folding and refolding and doubling and chasing a squirmy baby to practice on before i got it down...
That kind of looked like the way they used to wear diapers when my mom was a baby, they called it the triangular fold. But then they used diaper pins, You can still buy them today but I like those snappies I've been seeing on here lately. That way you don't have to worry about sticking her with a pin. She is so pretty.
Brilliant. And thank you for the reminder. I used this fold on my own children but couldn't get it quite right when demonstrating for grandchildren - I'd forgotten the top back fold which helps to adjust for size of baby!
It's a Snappi. You can Google it and find a bunch of different retailers (online and brick&mortar). I always preferred pins with my youngest sister and daycare kids (haven't started cloth quite yet with my 2 mos old), but a lot of people prefer the Snappi. It looks like they're stretchier now than 12 years ago, though, and that seems a huge improvement.
