  • hi i had this in 1975 great sound for a boombox

  • beautiful shape

  • Awesome retro item!

I never saw a player like that !

    Thanks for posting!

  • I have this exact player but it is stuck on track 1. I will not change tracks manually either. Is this a hard thing to fix?

  • My mom's player was almond colored and had a good Barry Manilow collection. These players needed an AM/FM radio like the other brands.

  • i love your 8 tracks player for his look and flaschy colour

  • Awesome player! I love it!

  • Panasonic was very progressive in the late 70's by coming out with color themed "fun" portable machines. They worked well, were made well, and today, they are highly collectible. I've got the "Panasonic Red" cassette recorder that people fight over on E-Bay whenever one shows up. It's in my video about When to Use Your Dongle. I'll have a complete video on it soon. Thanks for showing this nice machine! Sounds great!

  • Red cassette recorder or player?? I assume a player. There is really no demand for a Panasonic red portable cassette player on ebay. A red Panasonic 8-track plunger has a beter chance, but people fighting over it?? I don't think so. Still Panasonic made a great product.

  • See my video: The Tape Recorder From Outer Space! - Panasonic RQ 44-A. It is a recorder, not just a player. And yes, when these machines appear on E-Bay (rare) they sell fast. You just have to watch them to see the number of bids that go up on them.

  • Top of the line in the mid 70's. If you had one of these you were somebody!

  • Anyone like it please give me Rate.

    Thanks
