What an adorable dog!! We are going to be getting a German Short Haired Pointer in a couple of weeks. We have always owned labs, and I am a little nervous, but this pup has such a sweet disposition. Very well socialized, and great parents! Mom is hyper....extremely, but dad is super sweet and very laid back. Our pup has the spitfire of her mom, but is also very lovey and sweet like her dad. Any words of wisdom? We do not plan on working her as a bird dog, just a pet, but we walk and jog.

XD I love German Shorthairs! I have a predominantly black one myself. I keep having to tell everyone that no; he is not a labrador with a short tail.
