I didnt say that USA's national team is bad. They played very good in the world cup. You are right, some euro leagues sucks very much especially the east ones. But ok. This was my first season following the Houston Dynamo and watching this was hard to watch. Houston looked good in the first 20 minutes but what killed them was that when the lights went out it really killed Houston's momentum. If the lights hadnt gone out i think the result would have been a little diffrent

@auq21 beckham improved donovans play so much, there chemistry was outstanding. but LD can still do amazing without him and proved that several times. Now edson buddle is stepping up this season

Dude go back and rewatch this video. The whistle comes at 4:10 a split second after the ball comes off of Hainault's head and lasts until 4:11 well before it gets into the goal. AJ was on the ground right in front of the guy. Had he not gone down he would have been in position to win the ball in the air.

The whistle blew before the header came. Ricketts reacted to the whistle at first and didn't commit himself fully to stopping the goal. If the ref wouldn't have blown the whistle, Ricketts would've stopped that goal. Either way, I was at the game and it was one of the best games I've ever been to. The atmosphere was intense and I think this is the Galaxy's year. MLS and soccer are continuing to grow in the Sates with games like this. Go LA!

Agreed that they are a different team now (LA) but so is Houston, no more De Rosario.... Beckham came back half way through last season as well, but keep in mind, Beckham is an AWESOME player. He is the only reason LA is in the Cup. Maybe they can transfer Beckham to Houston, AEG owns both teams anyway :)

You have to take into the fact that last year Ruud Gullit was a horrible choice to be coach. Yeah if you take Beckham out they wont be good on set pieces but they will still be a good team. was it beckham that made Ricketts have a great year? no. Was it beckham that made the Gonzalez/Berhalter pair at center back help concede one of the fewest goals in mls? no. LA had the fewest loses this year of all MLS and it had nothing to do because of Beckham.

No I won't lie to admit something you think is true. Yes one team did have to lose in the end, but the better team lost thanks to the dissallowed goal. The galaxy have not been amazing this year. I might say they're one of the luckiest teams in MLS, but the Galaxy went out asking to lose and therefore they don't deserve to be where they are. The Dynamo is the real 2009 champions OF THE WEST. Dude its not a blown call. Ching cut off AJ's run. Behalter was pulling him by the shoulder he didn't push the guy. Ching fell because he went low as he was twisting away and decided to give AJ a forearm to his back from an awkward position. Instead of staying up and twisting away like normal he went for the foul. Had he not done it in front of the ref maybe he would have gotten away with it but nope. And if you consider your bribery statement a joke then how can I take anything you say serious?

As far as what teams deserve that is always going to be a matter of opinion. RSL won because they played against a team that wasnt able to properly sub yet like most teams in the West they r capable of beating anybody on any given day. After every game they do a ref evaluation in which calls are reviewed. Refs lose their jobs if a call is considered unacceptable. The refs are still employed; so what does that tell you about the call? And if you aren't 12 then prove me wrong by shutting up. Or will your need to get the last word cause this to drag out even further.

At this point the only way anyone can defend this is to step on AJ and Ching. Not only was it a foul but it lead directly to the goal as Kirovski can't travel to where he needs to be.

no one said it was luck. It certainly wasn't luck. 0:52 in the announcer says uhh that wasn't in the script. I know that was a joke, but still. It wasn't luck because Hainault scored a FAIR goal that was dissallowed. The announcers only said the better team one because that's what they get payed to do. the team who won is in theory the better team, but in this case Houston got robbed from another MLS CUP.

I am not mad anymore and I was never mad at Clark was at fault for the foul that led to the goal, not the goal. Learn a little more and you'll know. Personally if I was Clark I would have gladly taken a red for punching Becks in the face. The second LA goal doesn't really matter does it? Dude go back and rewatch this video. The whistle comes at 4:10 a split second after the ball comes off of Hainault's head and lasts until 4:11 well before it gets into the goal. AJ was on the ground right in front of the guy. Had he not gone down he would have been in position to win the ball in the air.

The whistle blew before the header came. Ricketts reacted to the whistle at first and didn't commit himself fully to stopping the goal. If the ref wouldn't have blown the whistle, Ricketts would've stopped that goal. Either way, I was at the game and it was one of the best games I've ever been to. The atmosphere was intense and I think this is the Galaxy's year. MLS and soccer are continuing to grow in the Sates with games like this. Go LA!
