Hello, sir! This is the first of your videos I've watched, so I don't know if you've already covered this, but could you comment on the use of the pedal when play a song like this? I read something once about beginner piano players often being too heavy on the pedal. And that players like Elton John are very light with the pedal, holding down bass notes with his thumb instead to carry the sound of the chord all the way through the measure. Any suggestions for pedal use on a song like this?

Hi Thanks for stopping by, yeah the chord name is above and the keys you depress are below,

for example look at 1:06, see the Ab is the chord in blue and below are the individual notes.

Mike Changes Everything: what a find. Been playing a perfectly good version of this nearly a year, trying to find the midddle 8 bit or whatever it's called. Found Mike's and a subtle difference in the rhythm(spellcheck?) of the main 4 chords has rejuvinated my interested (never felt quite 100%). Top banana.
