when playing alice you really can't hold back at all. She is probaly one of the most moody characters in the whole play. I suggest over articulating and being extremely snobby and bitchy. She's somewhat like a stereotypical mean girl in a way. She is also somewhat slutty haha. If you just try to put those things togther you get her. Also if you have a chance to look at the script be sure to read her monologues a few time through

yeah, my theatre group has the script already. gladly, almost everyone wants to be rosaline. not alice. but oh well. i love her monologue about tattooing her boobs. VERY funny. and, yes, no doubt shes a slut :) thanks, i will let you knw if i get the part. will be finding out soon, because auditions are on tuesday. thanks again!

im playing rosaline......i was shocked to get the part.....the company has never given me a large role ive only ever done tech (stage management) and tiny roles......though i am super excited to be sword fighting our director is also a fight director for california shakespeare theatre and the shakespeare festival in san francisco, so im hopeing for a lot of stage combat and sword fighting =)
