@teamedward19963d Alan did not have sex with the horses -- he just like to ride them naked. This play was based on a true story where a English boy blinded his horses because he experienced religious conflict. He had sex with a girl, but then noticed the horses were starring at him. Confusing the horses as God, he felt the horses were judging him as sinner. Its a wonderful dark story...and Dan did an amazing job in potraying Alan especially this is his first ever play!!
@t4462es11 From what I read, Shaffer (sp?) had only heard the case of a boy blinding horses and that's all he knew; he just wrote the play wondering what would make someone do something like that...also, I thought that actors playing horses had suits on...ah well xD
