  • Good tutorial, you were very clear and easy to follow. Nice job :)

  • #000d5e

  • Why did I know it was a girl who made this 'tutorial', even when my sound was off. ^-^

  • @CABramDD because video is recorded by videdo camera instead of an application for that.

  • @erplasonier If you're trying to use proper punctuation at least use capital letters.

  • it works!

    great

  • cool you made it simple thanks

  • very hot pic ;)

  • your camera sucks...

  • cool i actually got that tutorial. Thanks

  • sorry, but I cannot see the marque tool. what shall I do?????

  • Very enjoyable thank you

  • 240p we meet again

  • nice video..

  • After you make the first blue exclusion layer, if you want more of the vintage look, all you have to do after that is duplicate the layer. No need of going through that process over and over. Thanks for the video!

  • thanks! :D

  • it doesn't work on some pictures but it's great thank you!

  • very helpfull video! I was dreaming about to can make some pictures and now I CAN! Thanks man!

  • What photo shop are you using?

  • Why not just hit Ctrl J when you want another blue layer all done..?

  • pretty nice, thanks

  • tbh.. what she did works.. end result would of been the same as if she used camtasia..

  • i actually found it more interesting to do exactly what you said, but with the second fill layer use this color "ffef86" and on the drop down menu select "Hue" (results my vary on your own images) i did it on a cell phone picture

  • Why the fuck do people say "this was recorded with a calculator"?? Idiots, calculators don't have cameras

  • @screamolovesmusic It means the video has bad quality smarty.

  • This was recorded with a calculator

  • duplicate layer would have been too easy? ;)

  • Why make a new layer to make a second fill layer when you can just duplicate the one you have?, also why try to remember the color's hash code when you could just put it in once and add it as a new swatch?, but anyway it's a good tutorial.

  • Holy Lord, why is this here? We should be able to vote to delete videos, right?

  • @bungholesnailface no with a hair dryer -_-

  • Great simple technique explained very well, thanks

  • fastest way i seen a photo turn vintage in ps :D nice

  • THANKSsooooo much ;0

  • Awesome tutorial. just what i wanted.

  • THAAAANK YOUUU :D

  • u gt some butterz voice but i still wud get head off u

  • Aw you sound like Violet from The Incredibles !:')

  • thank you so much, i finally know how to get this done

  • @zoevangorp Agreed. B&W is so overdone, which is sad because it steals the show from the images that are truly stunning.

  • Film look applied to a digital photo that is clearly not retro in any form looks worthless. It doesn't look retro, it looks like it's just color washed as hell and overdone. Doesn't even mimic the film look the right way. It's like how people drag and drop black and white on EVERYTHING for no reason. Doesn't make your photos any more interesting than they already are.

  • this is awesome (:

  • Cool but you can always duplicate a layer wihtout having to go through the same process. And on your layer menu you can press the duplicate button to create a new layer...or just use shortuts. Depending on the version also.

  • WHAT IS THIS SHIT MUSIC

  • thanks so much! it really have helped me!

  • thank you!

  • iCaNT SEE SXHTT.. Videotapping does Not WORKKKK.. OR Wahteva yhu'r Usinnqq..

  • i also used the grain effect on this which looks pretty cool :D

  • where you sad fill tool.. Which one is that one?

  • Easy to understand and to do, great effect on the photo! thumbs up! Though with a screen recorder it would look way more professional! But thank you anyway a lot :D xoxo!!

  • girls do easy tutorials

  • you're great!!!!!!! thank you so much!

  • thank you so much :) xx

  • to make the last step quicker, select the layer with the color "#000d5e" and hit ctrl+j (duplicate) and its done ;d great video, never knew to get a cool effect with just 1 layer o.O i never used the exclusion layermode before but i would deffently use it more often, Thanks

  • wtf , this tutorial is suckkkkkkkk , go through your self from any higher place ,

  • guys go to egydown . com

and search camtasia you can get it if you "pay" for it ;) <--- hens the face and quotations

  • i recommend getting a screen recording program :)

  • Picnic.com is just as good for vintage look and alot easier <3

  • @hbrockz Picnik.com is a cool site and it's fast too. I basically use it all the time because I barely have any time to use PS at school but I feel like Picnik makes the quality of your photos degraded :\

  • Thankss!!!! :) great tutorial!So easy !

  • horrrible tutorial

  • you better download the software

    camtasia studio.

  • this sucks. period.

  • que sexy la voz xD

  • thx a lot:)

  • in 2008, camtasia is already available.

  • GRACIAS... =)

  • wow very easy n i like it so mch

  • girl! you are AWESOME! quick and easy! high-five! :) cheers!

  • wow....The color for the exclusion layer does not NEED to be 000d5e. All settings and colors are subjective to the individual image and it's colors. And if you need more contrast with the blue and yellow tint, change your "exlusion" layer to "lighten" and then add a "multiply" layer with a soft yellow. Don't just repeat steps. It makes it muddy. A small amount of gaussian blur, and some noise usually less than 10% also helps, or should I say, is needed.

  • this works for paint shop pro x2 as well :)

  • your pretty :$

  • The vintage effect is not using camstasia or camstudio. I bet you were not reproducing your music via winamp or wm.

    Tutorial fail

  • I like the feel the music and your recording style gives the video.

  • You can always use Hypercam.

  • Gràcies (thanks)

  • thanks for the tutorial

    helped me a lot

It is where the graident tool is, you have to click it and hold it, then you have to hover over the paint bucket. If u dont get what I mean I can send a pic.
