I tried really hard to like these guys and this kind of music because it sounds like some of the heaviest stuff ever, but every video I see of them or all the songs I've downloaded either sound the same, or they are just pure noise and no rock. I really like this song's main riff, but it gives me a headache.

I don't see what is so impressive about a drummer who has no sense of timing but can play fast. I know I'll get the usual 'it's about the energy' or 'you're a narrow minded prick' response, but fuck, he's just hitting random toms and cymbals. Not the mention the total lack of talent the guitarists' have, it's noise. From my experience, people who listen to 'noise' music do so just to be different and don't know what real music is.

Look, I own a couple hella albums, and I agree that Zach Hill is an amazing drummer, I'm just a bigger fan of chippendale. It doesn't nescessarily have to do with technical skill, I just appreciate his drumming more.

Chippendale in my opinion is better then Barker because I feel he's more creative. Why? Because he doesn't stick to the same formula, anybody can switch up when they do rolls, hit the snare or hit the bass drum. With Chippendale, he's so erratic and crazy, it just makes it more enjoyable to watch as well as listen, cause you never know what to expect. Barker is a good drummer, no doubt about that, but Chippendale is on another level man.
