Bar none - the is the best fiddy stunt video I have seen. It's to the point with lots of trick combos and variations. Most of what I have seen is cat walking for long distances or super tight wheelie turns etc..

Hi mate. If you make a 12 bar I suggest making one that clamps onto the frame instead of welding it on there. I'm a bit under 6 foot, but you'll be fine with a 12 bar.

Just get some flatbar and clamp or drill two side pieces up against the subframe and connect the two pieces with another piece of flatbar.

I'll be honest...it's not good quality. Many things have broken and it is a high maintenance bike until the problems are sorted out. I'd buy a Honda XR50 if I were you.

No worries. They are cheap, but allow some money to spend on repairing them. I had quite a few problems with mine, but I was able to fix most of them myself.

Nice...yeah it's a good bike to stunt. You'll need to custom-build a 12 bar for the rear as no one makes them that I know of for the imports. If you don't want your bike to be damaged, don't stunt it. If you get custom axle pegs made up or modify some bmx ones to fit it will help to minimise the damage though ;)

When I recorded the vid I had been riding the pitbike on and off for about 2ish years I think. Everyone learns at a diff pace, so just be consistent with the practice and within a month or two you should have wheelies pretty good. Remember to have your foot covering the rear brake in case you bring the front up too high though!

Ok. To wheelie give the bike some throttle and let the clutch out faster than usual. This should bring the front wheel up...if not try more throttle.

I got a nearly identical pit bike for $350 two years ago. I put another $400 or so into it for mods. I managed to fit some bmx pegs by modifying them on the lathe, shortening the spacers for the rear wheel and closing up the swing arm by about an inch. How long are the pegs you use? mine are about 6" and I want to shorten them a bit. I need to make a 12 bar too. The exhaust and fluid reservoir mounts on the frame make it a bitch. How did you attach your 12 bar to the frame?

My pegs are about 4" long with a 45 degree angle cut on them to allow for extra ground clearance.

I had the same problem with having to dodge exhaust mounts on the frame, so I cut them off and relocated them. With the 12 bar I made some side struts out of round tube that followed the angle of the frame but underneath it. I welded the scraper plate on and connected the side struts to the frame by using pre-made tube clamps that I welded together.

It's a chinese brand Thumpstar knock-off and it's alright for stunting and dirt riding, but if possible I would go for a japanese brand bike for reliability.

I got my pegs custom-made. The metal thing is a "12 O'clock" wheelie bar. You can use it for scraping on the ground, or as a foot rest.
