it depends...the BLUES mode is really creamy and even with the tone full up it sounds really fat with neck pickups...I like the boost mode...I use the od channel of my amp with a slight distortion and then I use the boost for solos...and it's nice..but I have an Ibanez..and maybe this pedal can be nice with strats or other guitars..it's a bit fuzzy
I use this as my main OD/Distortion unit as well. Pretty satisfied, but my one complaint is that it may be a bit too fiddly...Im getting sick real fast of having to bend over and switch settings between boost and blues modes.
By the way, in the boost mode, only the volume works, not the volume and the tone
Well, I don't think it's blues. Most people label them as rock n roll or rock.. Don't come back and give me shit about how they were infulenced. I just said some actual blues would have been good for someone looking to bu ya bluesbreaker for blues
its so fun, hes mobbing heself:)

This pedal is a bit poor really. The original pedal "Blues Breaer" from the 90's is awesome however!

call me crazy, but what's the song at about 3:40
And also, would this pedal be good for an eric johnson tone?

In 3:40 it's: AC/DC - You shock me all day long

why not try playing some blues seeming as it is a BLUESbreaker instead of your shitty chords
stop making clicky/slappy noises with your mouth it's very offputting.
kriegcommando 3 years ago
He's playing some AC/DC there, so yeah I think that's kind of bluesy.
palmster56 3 years ago
honestly no
but he definetly sholudve played some blues for this demo

thanks for making everyone aware of this. You're a real help.

there was no amp called the "Bluesbreaker" in the 60's, only a killer band, with a killer guitarist(Eric Clapton), who had killer tone.
silly how some people don't know where the name "Bluesbreaker" comes from
willwelsh816 2 years ago
the marshall 1962 is now officially known as the 1962 bluesbreaker combo due to it's use on the album.
check marshall's site.

ivaneu 3 years ago
