  • i'm happy, radiohead is going by the way that i want.

  • BILL the Butcher

  • destroy my mind and i feel happy

  • there arent words.

  • @Kelp1909 .........................

  • @Kelp1909

there are a couple... like, boobs and dick and balls. those are nice words.

  • BEAUTYGASM

  • i wish i could have sex with this song

  • @carouselambra7 Do the next best thing, have sex while listening to the song

  • THOM YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORKE

  • I love this.

  • my new favorite Radiohead song )

  • Awesome tune :)

  • Hopefully the release of these two excellent songs will convince all the TKOL nay-sayers, that yes, theyr'e still the best band in the world.

  • @Garberd I think it's the other way around in regards to Phil's drumming.

  • i lstened to this song 20 times butt still i discover somehing new when i play it again....

  • poor track totally dull and boring

  • It's a collective thing, it doesn't matter who is playing what or if anything is played at all, it's all about their ability to communicate with each other and create.

  • One of their best ever tracks imho.

    So intricate and cathartic.

  • Lol With Thom being a vegan!!! I love this!

  • The Butcher, yes, that was my trade...

  • i think they lost their guitar picks... or their guitars all together

  • Superb song!

  • If there is god and if he listens to music. He would be definitely be listing to radiohead!!

  • Simply awesome track. !

  • This song is sooo dark and spooky! Love it! Probably favorite between the 2 new singles

  • I can imagine an awesome performance of this in a "FROM THE BASEMENT" type setting. Maybe they could return and do the whole TKOL. oh i wishh -_-

  • this shit is awesome, freebase, paul mccartney is at home trying to sound like radiohead.

  • great song =)

  • this is why i dont have to use drugs (not that much)

  • don't care what less anybody else says, radiohead is awesome and has only gotten better in my mind. TKOL is simply awesome.

  • o wow I checked my email & radiohead sent me the butcher & supercollider for free.I still wish I had them on cd but ily radiohead...

  • This is utterly boring, redundant, self-indulgent fuckery. This band has completely bleeped and blipped itself out of relevance. They sound so goddamn stale and soulless. This music has no substance. The band cannot write a memorable melody to save their lives. Try playing one of these "songs" on an acoustic guitar. I can't recall a hook that they have written in the past 7 or 8 years. And yeah, I know, I know all you Radiohead apologists are upset. But face it. They suck.

  • @FreebaseFreddie I don't typically comment on Youtube, so you're special. I guess I'm a Radiohead "apologist" (most would use the word "fan", but hey, you're creative), though I'm writing this more as a musician and promoter/apologist of experimental music. I think you need to expand your world a little bit. There's a hell of a lot more to music than just a "memorable melody".

Oh, and people have done KOL songs on an acoustic. You're on Youtube, look it up. Not that it really matters.

  • @goodgodyou I mean the writing. it all seems really thom yorkey

  • Wow I really love this song..I think it's the best of all their new songs..I wish it was on the TKOL & I might have actually payed for the CD..I'll just add it to my list of great radiohead songs I can't buy on CD Bollocks.....

  • Why in God's name they didn't put these songs (Supercollider and The butcher) in The King Of Limbs.... the songs are so strong that they could've easily given the album a stronger look for those who complained about it. I knew that Radiohead had done something weird with TKOL and I knew they had decided not to release maybe other good songs for the album.

  • Fantastica

  • Masterpiece.

The King Of Limbs very underrated!

  • Got the free download (Thanks!) but couldn't listen last night.

Will put it on the iPod tonight into the The King of Limbs folder as soon as I get home.

  • love this song. really do

  • Much better than everything on "The King of Limbs," IMO.

  • This is SO much better than supercollider.

  • who the hell cares who's playing what

  • This would be orgasmic live

  • mediafire link? i got supercollider

  • Colin never fucking does anything.

  • @revolutiongeorge theres a ton of heavy basslines on tkol

  • man That's brilliant??

    whats this??

it's a new track, new album??

  • Goosebumps starts in 1:20 -1:40 , 2:13 -2:57 <3 .

    Masterpiece <3

  • Fits perfectly for Dexter don't you think? :P

It'd be my dream come true if they used this song for Dexter!

  • the beginning kinda of reminds me Duran Duran's wild boys beginning O_o ...and i dont know if i like it yet lol, maybe in live performance it'll show its true colors.

  • 2:07 !!!!!!!

  • @IcoverRadiohead lmao...on point + hilarious visual

  • beauty will destroy your mind, spare the gory details.

  • Thom - Vocals, Piano, maybe Beats

Jonny - Max/MSP, Ondes Martenot, Synths, Beats, (Banjo?)

    Ed - Guitar, Effects

    Phil - Drums

Colin - Synths, maybe even a normal Bass in there somewhere

  • Finally a song about Thom's vegetarianism?

  • it seems that most Radiohead fans were not expecting this direction from them, when really they've been getting at it for years. Just listen to their B-sides leading up to this: Worrywort, The Amazng Sounds of Orgy, I Am Citizen Insane, Kinetic, Fast-Track, Meetin In the Aisle, These Are My Twisted Words, and quite a few more. They have slowly adding more beats and electronics into their songs for a while. If you don't like, that is one thing, but don't act like it came from nowhere.

  • @stperea haha exactly

  • @stperea kid a was like, entirely electronic. i didn't really see this as a left turn for radiohead. if anything i kind of expected it to be more innovative, there are a lot of similarities to in rainbows

  • @stperea - I thought some of those B-Sides recorded for "Amnesiac" were superior to some of the album tracks! I really like this, I hope we can squeeze another album by them by the end of the year!

  • Well, at least this sounds a LITTLE more like a RADIOHEAD song... not sure if I really like it but it might very well be a grower.

  • OMG When the drums kick in that is so sick.

  • Radiohead, be my baby daddy.

  • I think Ed confirmed that the rumors of a TKOL part 2 is false... I'm bummed, I hope I'm wrong.

  • On first impression, I preferred Supercollider, but now I'm not so sure. In any case, I would have loved to see both on The King of Limbs.

  • I dont like to complain about this not being in the album, so I just included it in the album myself. The King Of Limbs is seen in my iPod like this: 1.-Bloom 2.-Morning Mr Magpie 3.-Little By Little 4.-Feral 5.-The Butcher 6.-Supercollider 7.-Lotus Flower 8.-Codex 9.-Give Up The Ghost 10.-Separator
  • To those who may think it a Yorke solo joint, consider these possibilities on the track:

    Thom - Vocals/electric piano

Jonny - Ondes Martenot and maybe a Banjo

Ed - Noises, swooshes, evil butcher noises starting at 2:24

Phil - Drum loops (yes he knows how to use a machine)

Colin - Nothing, probably playing DS or PSP in Drew Barrymore's entertainment room

  • @rkotm

great song. dont diss colin tho. he's amazing.

  • @rkotm LMAO you made my day

  • @rkotm Phil is probably playing the drum at 2:07 in addiction to the drum machine. He probably do this also in the other song of TKOL when we hear additional drum (that seems electronic loop, but maybe are "real" loop), just like in "15 Steps".

    P.S.

    Excuse for my piteous english.

  • @ilcapitanozurg True, may be-No youre fine it works :D

  • @ilcapitanozurg

Phil is playing the Drums and Colin is using the Drum Machine

  • @StvMusicOfficial Probably you're right.

    P.S.

I think that the Ondes Martenot are not played by Jonny, but by Drew.

  • @ilcapitanozurg whose drew? theres no drew in radiohead. u trollin.

  • @GuitarGuru757 Referring to Drew Barrymore, whose house is where Radiohead record TKOL and these tracks.

  • @Neonman78 hmm. learn something new everyday.

  • @rkotm Colin makes all the bass in the song, and maybe helps in the postproduction.

  • Definately got a bit of the Eraser about it reminds me a little of Hearing Damage. Would have added to King of Limbs nicely quite easy to get into .

  • It could have been the best song on TKOL.

  • 2.09 :) makes me wiggle

  • 0:25 just like 'All I Need' <3

  • ... i love this song so much! especially the last 90 seconds are pure perfection!!

  • some one please post the lyrics. they sound amazing.

  • OMG, this is awesome! I wish this was on TKOL.

  • I use this song instead of lube..

  • Radiohead is one of the most riveting bands humanity has ever witnessed.

  • Why wasn't this on the album? It's very dark even for Radiohead, simply brilliant!

  • 3:53

  • 2:10 yeaaaa

  • "Here's a little bitch coming out of him" IS THAT A BANJO I HEAR? Is Radiohead trying to kill me!?!?!

  • this sounds like the butcher.

  • wow!! ......just one word.... ¡¡fantastic!!,,

  • on your face Steve!!! iTunes can NOT sell this song...

  • They did it again.

i love radiohead more, everyday of my life.

  • OH SHIT I THINK I HEAR THE BANJO NOW

  • You can take it with yer------ mediafire. com/?fh22779co8naddg (remove space after .)

  • @rkotm i love you bitch <3

  • @dumaramutsi Right back at ya, trick <3

  • @rkotm :D

  • there's no such thing as a high-quality mp3 you moron. even if it was ripped from vinyl it's still the worst god damn format you could have possibly converted it as. it sounds like i'm listening to the song through an alarm clock

  • Comment removed

  • Both songs are great.

  • now i can hear them. awesome!

  • This makes me wanna slowly take off my shirt and rub my nipples.

  • @IcoverRadiohead I actually genuinely laughed while reading this, which is rare when i am on my own.

  • @IcoverRadiohead man, i lost it when i read this. thanks, i needed that.

  • @IcoverRadiohead

    GEEZ!

  • @IcoverRadiohead

    LMFAO!

  • Sounds like 'All i need' performed in the style of 'Wolf at the Door'

  • @chimpzoid26 stop comparing things. thats what shitty critics do.

  • @noisez13000 maybe i am a shitty critic

  • Comment removed

  • I hope RH doesnt become too much like the eraser like they kind of have here. Where are the other members?!?

  • @ABR0733 eraser= thom and nigel with samples from various radiohead sessions.

this= obviously the full band, except colin is playing a synth. you realise radiohead don't always play guitar now, and when they do, it often doesn't sound like guitar.

c'mon this is jonny's amazing ondes trademark soud!

  • lyrics too?! i agree!

  • I really like this one!

  • It can't get any better than this. Radiohead you are musical magicians!

  • Awwwwww, thanks for the uploading. I was worried about that i have no money for the vinyl at the moment. You saved me! :)

  • I like this a lot more than supercollider, which Im happy is not on TKOL

  • @VisualFixation I feel the same way, supercollider is cool though. I never liked the melody so I like the aragement they did. But The Butcher is just - GREAT

  • 0:22 ships ahoy

  • Picked up my copy of this earlier this morning, very good indeed.

  • This track should have been after little by little and before Feral in The King of Limbs, that really would of worked.

  • this song is spooky, i love it,

  • "as it courses up" or "as it crosses up"? the former, I think

  • snidelimits: wtf are you talking about. this is a band that let people pay whatever they wanted for their last album. greed? exorbitant prices? i couldn't disagree more.

  • Great 12' single.

  • @SklllZzz Twelve foot single? I doubt that's realistic.

  • I don't understand why this didn't make it into the album. It seems Radiohead's greed is consuming their decision making. They will slowly spoon feed us more songs they've already recorded at exorbitant prices.

    Still, excellent song.

  • @SnideLimits They wrote this song after The King of Limbs was released. For all the fans of the "old" Radiohead, fasten your seatbelts. The warrior's back.

  • @TheEbulla actually this song was recorded during the sessions of The King Of Limbs.... Supercollider was recorded after its release especially for RSD

  • @chimpzoid26 Actually you should take my word for it

  • @TheEbulla Ed O'Brien stated that this song was from TKOL sessions. It wasn't written after it was released.

  • @jibbyfoob

The lyrics at least were definitely written after the release. The press may have confused Supercollider with the Butcher.

  • @TheEbulla i apologise if i'm wrong however i heard Ed O'brien saying it...

  • @SnideLimits it was `"free"....i got it on my download page from TKOL

  • Like the speaking tone. Like the music. Not the falsetto and word rhythm - not feeling it.

  • This song makes me excited, very excited.

  • beautiful. another song with a very obvious can influence. it should have made the album.

  • The Butcher > The King of Limbs

  • @lssrider I don't think we would have appreciated or understood this as much without TKOL. I think it's all really good.

  • SOOOOO HAAAAAPPPPPYYY!!!!!

  • Amazing! I just have to re-listen haha

  • good stuff mate...
