Wow pretty sad when you try to compare a 3/4 ton Truck to a half ton . The Tundra has 13.9'' ventilated front and rear rotors which is the same as Dodge 3/4 ton Ram. The 1/2 ton Tundra pulls 10,800lbs which is best in 1/2 market. Where 3/4 ton Dodge pulls just over 13,000lbs.. It really sucks when the Tundra stands up with the 3/4 ton Rams. Theres a reason why fords modular V8 and GM LS pushrod series V8 have been in Wards top 10 engines for so long. Funny, i dont see toyota on that list much at all the last 15yrs. Only their 3.5L makes the list a few times.

And it's got more power, it's built strong and it has pulled easily large trailers of 15k lb. Yes it is over it's limit, but it does it when the 2500HD and F250 are down. I have owned and driven F150's, and Chevy's and the Titan so far is the best truck out of all of them.
The Tundra, I can't tell you as I never owned one myself. But you really show your American stuck up attitude when the Titan is more American than any of the big 3 trucks.

The Titan frame is a SOLID BOXED frame just like the F150. It is strong. I never said I did it all the time, when both our trucks are out, or they are broken, sometimes I have to grab the load and do it.
What ever towing that weight around in a half ton is not safe something is going to break on it. and titans as all jap trucks are prone to rust. the steel isnt up to the grade of domestic manufacturer's. its not so much towing the 15k its stopping it. its not safe

@JSoto96 and our 2007 gmc sierra 5.3 vortec has 315 hp and can hang right with a tundra with 5.7 from a roll because tundra comes with 4.30 gears and can take off faster but from a roll i can hang right with it and ours has 3.42 gears and our gmc can manage up to 30 mpg cause of cylinder shut off mode and also haul way more without sqauting and not even bend the frame at all with plenty pickup

Wow pretty sad when you try to compare a 3/4 ton Truck to a half ton . The Tundra has 13.9'' ventilated front and rear rotors which is the same as Dodge 3/4 ton Ram. The 1/2 ton Tundra pulls 10,800lbs which is best in 1/2 market. Where 3/4 ton Dodge pulls just over 13,000lbs.. It really sucks when the Tundra stands up with the 3/4 ton Rams. The frame breaking as you stated is just a lie and you know it. Sorry , your wrong again.

I work construction/trucking at a trucking/paving company and there is one guy there with a tundra, and one with a honda ridgeline. All of our pickups are mostly chevy/gmc fords and a few dodges. The guy with the ridgeline only has 20k miles and its squeaking n stuff.

And it's got more power, it's built strong and it has pulled easily large trailers of 15k lb. Yes it is over it's limit, but it does it when the 2500HD and F250 are down. I have owned and driven F150's, and Chevy's and the Titan so far is the best truck out of all of them.

@JSoto96 and our 2007 gmc sierra 5.3 vortec has 315 hp and can hang right with a tundra with 5.7 from a roll because tundra comes with 4.30 gears and can take off faster but from a roll i can hang right with it and ours has 3.42 gears and our gmc can manage up to 30 mpg cause of cylinder shut off mode and also haul way more without sqauting and not even bend the frame at all with plenty pickup

@NIZMOZ44 my friends 94 ford f250 with a 460 with 5 speed and granny low first can easily pull up to 13k lbs and can pull a tundra or titan backwards in tug of war, drive a 20 year old ford, chevy, or dodge, then drive a toyota or nissan and tell me whos was built ta last

@slapaho087 Like I said, I have and I have owned them. The Titan is way more solid than any truck I have owned now. You don't see many OLD Fords on the Road anymore, but you do see a ton of old Nissan Hard Body's or Tundra's.

@NIZMOZ44 i dont know were you live, but i live in P,A, and we have winters with salt on the roads...and in pa...its extremely rare to see any jap car or truck still on the road here that is 12 years or older ...they rot out real bad here and dont last long..yet i can hop in my 77 f 150 and drive around town and still see plenty of older american iron still on the road and working hard..not so much for any import truck..and thats a fact

@390merc65 Fords and Chevy's back then also had issues with frames rusting. Look how many old Nissan Hard Body's are still going. The fact is, the Titan frame is 100% american made, and it will not have those issues. The new Tundra frame shouldn't either.

@NIZMOZ44 toyota has issues with their frames...they are changing frames on a 6 year old truck..any car or truck's frame can rot..but not in 6 years of time ...to be honest..there really isnt alot of older jap car or trucks around here in P,A ..they really dont last long ,,,but my ford is 34 years old and doesnt suffer from this issue ..i still see alot of older american iron still on the road. , but not so true for EUROPEAN or jap cars

@INT3L818 i kno chevy, dodge, and ford will have their problems every now and then like everyone else but toyota damn they are in deep shit the tundras arent worth anything there are endless vids of it, i rode in my uncles brand new 2010 ford f150 platinum and its an amazing truck, and i drove a tundra and it was just aweful when i turned the knob for the A/C it came right off and i didnt pull on it and it was a rough ride on roads that arent that bumpy

@Motorfordtoyota have you not seen the endless vids of how tundra is horrible the frames rust out really fast, frames break real easily, cant pull worth crap, very bad on gas, cams explode, trannys that fail, ball joints, and much more, sorry but the titan has proved its better and GM DODGE and FORD are the best trucks in the world, if your wanting a tundra your better off buying a 74 ford f250 with a 460 big block that will rip a house off its foundation
