I am good with everyone accept number 2 and 6. The 17th amendment took the teeth out of states rights. Senators used to be in essence the Ambassadors from the states to the federal government. The house of reps was the peoples house and in that we had a balance of power in our bicameral legislature. The wall street reforms just made gave the banksters more power. For the record I don't support either party. I support the constitution and bill of rights. Im sure thats going to piss some off.
@watchclassics They are corporate Socialists and fascists too. I had one telling me that anyone who advocates Socialism is a terrorist and a threat to national Security and an enemy of the state. He was serious too!
@MAINEPREPPER LOL! Of course they are serious. They are conspiracy theorists too, paranoid much? I guess I am a terrorists for admiring the Norwegians, Danes, and Swedes way of life.
@darkdsm1 Let's hope it is a last ditch! I think their arrogance combined with their sheer nuttiness and unsound ideas will eliminate them from anything on a national level but they do stand a chance in places where there is a lack of true education and critical thought.
Behold, the Republican Tea Party Contract ON America, where Democrats are prepared to remind the country of what Republicans have been up to this year.
Contract high points include: 1. Repeal the Affordable Care Act (Health Insurance Reform) Put insurance companies back in charge, repeal tax credits for small businesses, allow insurance companies to deny coverage based on preexisting conditions and to drop coverage when a person gets too sick and make prescription drugs for seniors less affordable.
2. Privatize Social Security or phase it out altogether
Turn the guaranteed retirement benefits of America's seniors over to Wall Street CEOs by putting Social Security at risk in the stock market or, as some Republicans have called for, phase out Social Security altogether and end a program millions of American seniors rely on for their survival.
Phase out and end Medicare as it presently exists for future generations of seniors -- ending Medicare's guaranteed healthcare benefits for more than 40 million American seniors -- and replace it with a voucher system which will result in higher premiums and fewer services for seniors.
4. Extend the Bush tax breaks for the wealthy and big oil
At a cost of nearly $700 billion, extend the Bush tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans and big oil, which are set to expire and which have and will continue to explode the federal budget deficit.
5. Repeal Wall Street Reform
Roll back the toughest consumer protections ever enacted, allow banks to continue to grow too big to fail, and ensure that predatory lenders continue to utilize their most abusive practices.
6. Protect those responsible for the oil spill and future environmental catastrophes
Cap liabilities for those responsible for environmental disasters like the Gulf oil spill and let companies like BP decide which victims deserve compensation for the disaster and what the timeline for relief should be.
9. Abolish the Environmental Protection Agency Gut the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act -- which together protect our kids from air pollution and keep drinking water safe -- and disband the watchdog that holds polluters accountable. 10. Repeal the 17th Amendment Take away your right to pick your U.S. Senator
That's what they've promised. Not just a walk back to the Bush years, a walk back to another century. Perhaps they could repeal the Emancipation Proclamation, too.
GOP leadership of House & Senate will ensure that we keep borrowing and printing money to support endless war/occupation/nation building and torture at taxpayer expense (actually, it's our kids/grandkids who will pay). Although its true that Dem Congress/Obama haven't had the courage to bring these kids home to their families yet (not to mention save trillions), or even shut down Gitmo even though it's clear that occupation & torture are what
fuels Arab resentment and hostility-- at least Obama has eventual plans to do both. Vid also didn't mention implications to civil liberties bc of upcoming SP nominations, gay rights.(DADT has overwhelming majority of support among voters, not to mention the rest of civilized world) I know you can't fit everything into a 30 sec spot, so I'll give you a free pass. I was glad you pointed out GOP Congress would mean continued subsidation to BIG OIL and tax breaks for BIG Business, Billionaires, &
Millionaires. Most of these tea party extremists are probably not even aware that they're currently paying LESS tax than b4, and that allowing BUSH/CHENEY tax cuts to expire will only affect BIG Business and top 2% . Also didn't mention hateful rhetoric and threats of Violence from ALOT of GOP leaders, and actual Candidates,Overall, add is great though, and I esp liked the music choice... very intense. I guess there isn't room in the spot to point out that our electorial process is being
HIJACKED by extremists who are threatening FORCABLE OVERTHROW, REVOLUTION, MUTINY, COUP D'ETAT and 2cnd Amendment Remedies? Whatever you call it, it means the same. Kill the tyrants. Off with their heads !! Except these aren't real tyrants, or Socialist Dictators as they claim; they are our democratically elected officiials
We haven't needed a real revolution since 1776 when the real Patriots fought for their freedom. Our democratic system is now being held hostage by threats of violence, all orchestrated and condoned by TP candidates... some of whom actually encourage KILLING people if the election doesn't yeild the results they're hoping for. If somebody follows Angle's advice, and takes somebody out... will Mrs. Angle be held accountable ? I doubt it. We all have 1st Amendment Rights, but they don't include
hate speech which encourages MURDER. It's one thing for citizens to express HATE, by marching with guns and signs.... but quite another, when actual candidates are the ones encouraging Americans to 'DO THEIR DUTY' and start killing people if they don't get their way. If anyone is interested in this subject, please refer to, and respong to my vid "Tea Party: PATRIOTS or TERRORISTS ? GOP Montage of RACISM & HATE" on my channel: OTHERDUDEPRODUCTIONS. I'm concealling my ID, bc I'm truly concerned..
for my safety, since I have exposed some much needed light into some very dark, very scary places. Tks for any comments/feedback. Did I leave anybody out of the Montage? I'm adding a few more clips, plus making some additional audio adjustments (and adding captions and comments) tonight and tomorrow, then I'll upload the new verson tomorrow (which means I'll lose my hits so far... up to 1000 hits now in a few days).
... so it's not too late to add/delete scenes or make minor changes. See GOP Montage of Racism and HATE at otherdudeproductions. tks, and keep up the good work. Adios for now.
Abolishing the Departments of Energy and Education would be a GREAT idea.
Since the establishment of the Dept of Education, our national rank in math, science, literature, music, development, and retention rates have all dropped out of the top 5 and are all now around the 20s getting worse by the year. Education budgets are CUT because of it, teachers are paid LESS because of it, and education is WORSE for it.
The Dept of Energy is OWNED by billionaires and Big Oil. Dumping it is good too.
By the same token we should scrap the Dept of Agriculture which is owned almost SOLELY by Monsanto. All they have done is expand and subsidize big Agribusiness and GMO makers for decades.
I would also scrap the departments of National Security, level the department of War, and overhaul most other departments.
Everything there sounds fine by me. Are we really getting anything for our money from these institutions?
If you want to attack the Tea Party, do it for the right reasons. They have been taken over by that idiot Palin and the rest of the Bible thumpers, who would happily restore all of the Republican earmarks, spending, and "Compassionate Conservatism" that pushed this mess we are in to the breaking point.
DWS has the worst immigration voting record in washington, she has an F Minus from Numbersusa.
As a democrat upset with our traitors in washington trying to shove never ending immigration and amnesty down our throats, I look forward to working for her opponents, no matter what party!
I live in her voting district and planin october to stand in the busiest intersections in dade and broward with a sign explaining to the voter how bad she is, hope to see others join me.
Angle voters want less government regulation, lower taxes, a re-vamped health care system (not Obama-care, or a failing VA/Medicare/Medicaid system). Let's get a system that works, without breaking America. Energy and education are STATE responsibility. Angle believes in spending less money on educational executives and using that money for ACTUAL education. Bottom line? America needs less government, not more of the SOS that has us in such a bad financial situation. Vote Sharon Angle!
Morals and ethics are not synonymous with politics. The people claiming they are moral are just like any other politician: They are just telling you what you want to hear.
While I understand the dear some of Islam it is really important to remember that there are extremists on all sides, the Oklahoma City Bombing was carried out by a white Christian. Muslims deserve freedom to practice their religion regardless of what the Islamic extremist have done.
@RoflDopolus then how do you explain this..i never watched news other than to see the sports and weather.. i never cared for politics because i have aleways known they just cant be trusted. i am not influenced easily. i have my own mind, instincts and intuition. and it has never failed me... but i had these feeling after sept 11. and wasnt influenced by anyone i never even knew what foxnews was so when people say i get my info from foxnews i just cant buy it..and it cant be coincedence
@nw5052001 and for the most part i predict the things i her before they are broadcast or thought of..sometimes i feel like they are reading my mind..because i see things before they do. and i think it is even documented in sorts..it is weird that the things that i articulate come to life..i dont understand it..i can only assume i see things before they happen
@RoflDopolus and for the most part i predict the things i hear before they are broadcast or thought of..sometimes i feel like they are reading my mind..because i see things before they do. and i think it is even documented in sorts..it is weird that i say something then in a few days they repeat it..i dont understand it..i can only assume i see things before they happen.. i am 50 yeras old, never been committed, dont feel crazy, i am not irrational. so how can i ignore my own intuitions
@nw5052001-Don't be the enabler for the people who are picking your pocket. If for instance extending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy will benefit they country why did Greenspan recently say tax cuts for the middle class benefit our economy more then those for the wealthy. He also said borrowing money for tax cuts isn't beneficial which is exactly what Dubya did. If you have fallen into the repub trap of believing such nonsense remember, those tax cuts for the wealthy are currently in place
@urparanoia i believe everyone should pay the same tax..if one pays more taxes then they are entitled to more, rights, freedoms etc... i am not willing to accept that... the health care thing may be good at some point, but this is not the time...clean this country up first..get it in order.. and dont try to force crap on the people before your "swamp" is drained and in order..noone is in any position to make any radical change until america is cleaned up and in order..(your mom would agree)
@nw5052001 -Your comment is rather vague. Are you aware that Great Britain adopted a national healthcare system following WW2? Many would think that would be "the wrong time" to do so but the exact opposite is true. The burden of rising healthcare costs, decreased coverage and increased deductibles is the leading cause of bankruptcy for the average citizen in this country.Conservatives are always saying "now is not the time" for any program proposed by dems-any excuse to put it off.
@nw5052001-If you understood more about taxes you would not be making such statements. Evidently you are not aware of why the "alternative minimum tax' came into being. Many of the wealthy pay a smaller percentage of tax then those who make far less.Evidently you have never heard Warren Buffet ask why he pays a smaller percentage of tax then his secretary. If you don't understand the basics I can see why you might swallow the conservative rhetoric .Such rhetoric is how they manipulate small minds
@urparanoia i dont understand taxes totally,,but consider this..eveyone has an opportunity to be wealthy, that being said if we pay more taxes than the wealthy i am sure it is because we benefiet more from gov entitlements, we use them they dont..divided maybe from the rich but if they paid for us then they would own us. theres no shame in living a modest life. just say no to credit. where we spend our money will dictate our future
@nw5052001-You're right-you don't understand. That was a nice speech but it has NOTHING to do with what I was saying. You missed the point entirely. Your comment reminds me of Republican Mitch McConnell when 8 time he was asked by David Gregory of Meet the Press about borrowing money for tax breaks for the wealthy-he had a lot to say but it had nothing to do with the question. If you're going to make comments you should have a basic understanding of the subject.Sadly there are many more like you
@nw5052001-I have heard a lot of excuses for tax cuts for the wealthy but yours is the most lame of all. What you are doing is saying something, anything, to justify what the conservatives want to do. If your going to do this you had better come up with some sort of arguement that is based in reality. The funny thing is that it was conservatives who passed the unfunded entitlement Medicare Prescript Part D a corporate welfare program designed to protect big pharma profits at taxpayer expense
@nw505200l- Maybe you could tell me what entitlement I have taken advantage of since I do not recall doing so ? The wealthy may complain about paying a higher percentage of tax but they get breaks and deductions that you never dreamed about. If you feel good about financing corporate welfare and making payments on borrowed money for tax breaks for the wealthy you are free to do so.Just send IRS a little something xtra on April 15th.
@RoflDopolus lets tart with health care reform...next isnt it the fed gov main purpose to secure the borders? is it not obvious to you that feds have neglected the people and insisted we surrender our sovernity as a nation and remain tolerant to such radicals that want to convert us or kill us with no other options..quadruple the defecit...do they want a collapse? not done anything for america until elections roll around then it is still minimal..i could probably go on
@nw5052001 Health care reform needed to happen. The cost of treatment keeps rising and many people cannot afford coverage. The system was actually less fair and more socialized because people who could not pay got there care for free and the hospital would just charge the people with coverage more. You need insurance to drive a car and eventually no matter who you are you are going to get sick. Now everyone will be able to get care.
@RoflDopolus insurance cost is rising anyway..there may be some good things about it, however i am not into agreement of being fined if i dont purchase it. most people have the impression they are getting something for free and i know that from talking to people..they only see the part that sounds FREE.. ..thinking oh obama wants to take care of me..and for the most part they are unwilling to make an exerted effort for themselves and would rather sit on the couch.. i myself am poor.
@nw505200 Here is the deal. If you are going to mandate that companies need cover everybody then everybody needs to pay in. Otherwise people will wait until they are sick to buy insurance and the system will implode because no one will pay in.
At some point you will get sick and if you are poor (which you keep mention for some reason) then you are not going to be able to pay and someone will have to pick up your bill. That is why everyone need to pay into the system and purchase insurance
@nw5052001 The deficit does need to be reigned in. However, tax rates are way to low. We could make up a large portion of the deficit by letting the Bush tax cuts expire. Keep in mind these were financed entirely by borrowing and gave far more money to those who made over a million dollars a year then those who were middle class.
Realistically, neither the Tea Party or the Republicans have any real ideas on how we can balance the budget. Not have a perpetually active military would help.
@nw5052001 While I am not impressed with the Dem's track record I am less impressed by the Republican parties use of political games. They have been stone walling the Obama administration even when reforms have been sensible and good for America. This is because they want to deny the president a record of accomplishment so that they will have a better chance in the elections. This has been at the expense of America and should be considered treason in my opinion.
@RoflDopolus the wealthy will not spend or create ubtil obama is gone..that seems to be the problem with recovery..which is understandable for they should not be singled out to pay the burden...as i said i am poor, have nothing to look forward too, but am not going to place that burden on others, i chose to live peacefully without money and the greed that comes with it and i am content to die that way cause it has kept me free..
@nw5052001 The wealthy do not create that much any ways. What drives the economy is a strong middle class and strong consumer spending. The recession has crushed both of these. The wealthy have been almost untouched but they want even more tax cuts even though they are not spending.
You are basically arguing that we need dynastic wealth to make the economy work but as we have practiced this over the last 40 years we have just seen the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
@RoflDopolus , i can see your view is reasonable..i just think there is a better way and it has to do with good morals and ethic's..i would not have gotten involved in this if i didnt see the border issue being ignored and not to mention demands placed on us to be tolerant when people want to invade our country and kill us all or convert us..and now they are here but we have to remain tolerant. they cant be trusted and why the hell just surrender? collectively things look bad
@nw5052001-You have fallen into the trap repubs have set for you-They protect the status quo and manipulate small minds by telling us we will lose our freedom if we have social programs such as healthcare that do not allow them to profit. Look beyond our borders at countries which have 28 holidays per year, healthcare, a greater GDP per capita then the U.S., longer life expectancy, lower infant mortality rates etc. Common sense should tell you the republican way is not good for this country
@RoflDopolus I believe it's treason too and should be punishable by death. I think the republican congress should be tried in a court of law and swing for it.
Vote these people out! They want to bring back the FAILED Goper policies of the Bush administration and run this country further into the ditch. They are UNHINGED and don't deserve to lead.
Republicans and Tea Party members want to gut public funding which is why we have lost civics and other vital school programs. If there is no public funding who is going to teach your kids about the constitution? It is not going to you. If you are not informed and you have no interest in being informed then do not vote. This country was united and capable up until we went through 40 years of private interest oriented government that ruined the middle class and fattened the rich.
@RoflDopolus they dont really teach your kids the constitution in school. they might spend a week on it when kids are dreaming about being kids instead of paying attention..i think they could do a way better job of teaching the constitution..
@RoflDopolus because conservatives dont fear fending for themselves...Imagine people giving something up for preservation of this country. . the left are all weirdos who cant even go camping for they fear the dirt, they cant sustain themselves in the slightest of disaster, they need to be taken care of and lie, cheat and steal to feel safe from real life. in other words they are afraid to die.
@nw5052001 I think that is a blanket statement and a half right there. I am an avid democrat that love to hunt, fish and camp. Red states get more aid than blue states even when there is no disasters. Lastly, one can be proud in death but we all fear it. My question was rhetorical. Tea Party Member do not realize their aid would be cut off. If they were really so into values they would preemptively stop cashing those checks to be more "honorable." They do not want to go hungry either.
@RoflDopolus i am trying to be rhetorical, (whatever that means).. well if they are not willing to give it up then i guess i am the only one that hasnt sold his soul. i do question their integrity from time to time it is so hard to trust anyone these days.. i just know what they speak is something i have felt for many years. probably due to my "honor" in not expecting more then i need, not reaching beyond my means to attain material things. but yet i was screwed over...
You are totally changing the subject here. It is a common tactic used when you have lost the argument. It allows you to not admit fault while moving on and redirecting focus to an open ended question. No matter how I answer this question, you will be able to pick apart my response.
But this time I will bite. I would recommend looking into who is actually funding your party. Informed people who actually know what they are supporting would go a long way towards fixing the world.
@RoflDopolus ok i didnt say it was my party....and from where I sit and from what you are telling me i am getting in both ends....who is to be trusted? right now you are asking me to trust you, am i correct? I been alive a long time. i have seen the deceit, the manipulation, the lies, the demoralization of the integrity and decency of american citizens.. while tyrants are rewarded, all for the love of money..thats not even humane.
Frankly, I do not buy that they are not your party. You are backing out as a point of argument now to save face. Why else would you be bashing the democrats and glorify conservatives in your first response?
I understand your confusion about not knowing who to trust but the answer is simple. There are no knights in shinning armor that can always be trusted. You simply pick from the lesser of two evils.
@RoflDopolus they are not my party. yet. so far they are a favorite.. i am looking at the 2 evils and making a choice...although in the end i will probably remain independant as i always have. and i will venture into the wild to live my remaining days in peace with creatures of dignity..thats how free i am..i owe nobody. nobody owes me ( even tho they ripped me off). i dont fear the wild. its about the soul. its how you walk. its whats in your heart when you die..
@nw5052001 If you took the time to read then you would realize these guys do not have your best interest in mind. What you say does not make sense. If you are going to wander off into the wild then why would you care what happens with politics? If it is about the soul then you should care about making the right choice. Not the one that is easy because it is sheathed in bitterness and mistrust. Get informed.
@RoflDopolus to get informed would take a year and forever..who is to be trusted? I will venture into the wild to escape the bullshit when it is time..for now i will express to teach the children, the future and make it mandatory they learn the constutution. and that they are taught rigerously about money, investing and the government without partisan. but just the facts as so they are able to make informed decisions in the future and hopefully this country can become more united and capable
@RoflDopolus Ok smarty pants i have been reading and reading and reading and i am here to telll you that republicans may not always have my best interest at heart..but it is still better than what is being handed to me by the democrat party ,obama marksist, even if republicans do some weird stuff at least we keep our freedom and that is most important...i am willing to chance that..after all democracy is a precurser to communism..show me a document saying we are a democracy..
@nw5052001 i pledge allegience to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands etc..you get the picture.....and the tea party is what i am about...you need to do some soul searching pal...do you have children? there is nothing good going to come from this tyranny. taking the path of least resistance does not apply when it comes to preserving america unless you are scared you may need to make sacrifice...theres no dignity in being a coward
@nw5052001 Just because you can recite the pledge of allegiance does not mean you are acting in the best interest of this country. You are being manipulated by large corporate interest into selling out your own well being.
None of what you said makes sense. Where is the tyranny you are talking about? How is arguing and attempting to educate the path of least resistance? Who is being a coward here? Sure there are not many jobs but I promise that will not change no matter who we elect.
@RoflDopolus ok what exactly is you rational...i am aware things (ie jobs) may not change and most likely not..esp with the policies as of now.. i am a poor working person and I am aware of large corporations and the scrutiny upon them and i may even agree..however i am not going to accept the alternative being criminally imposed upon the people.. I am putting my faith in the tea party if i am wrong i will not regret it for i have fought for what i believe. and for what america is
@nw5052001 i also believe this imposition on the people is of evil, and if successful is irreversible and will creat more unrest in america then you can imagine...for we are here for the future generations and at bare minimum barring censorship from your fed governmnet will leave a legacy for our children to reflect on when in dire need to continue the preservation of american values..also i will put faith the tea party will continue to promote and demand good morals and values from corp
@nw5052001 You still have not mentioned anything specific so I am just going to assume that you do not know what you are talking about. You keep mentioning tyranny and morals but not with any relevant context. Stop quoting pamphlets and get some real information. Thanks for playing.
1) explain to me how Obama is a Marxist. There are some socialist leanings but that is a far cry from Marxism.
2) We are a republic, which is a representative DEMOCRACY. While we do not directly make decisions about a federal policy but we do elect representatives.
3) If you knew anything about communism besides the fact that it is a buzz word you would know that Marx said it comes from capitalism. Historically when established it is through military force and revolution.
Same old B.S. from the left. They will represent themselves as middle of the road on issues and then come out with the Lunatic Left that they are. The left hates white people. Well maybe not all white people. Just those who want to work and earn a living. Well they hate black people who want this. They are Uncle Toms. The lefties hate hispanics who want to work and earn a living. The Dem's aren't racist, they just hate people who want to work and achieve. Vote those underachievers into office
Tea baggers are uninformed hypocritical older white people. And sep, enough Tea Baggers already won their primaries. Sharron Angle will allow Harry Reid to stay in NV, Ken Buck ensures Bennet will win in CO, and every word that leaves Sarah Palin's ignorant mouth translates into more Democratic votes.
Appaently America isn't buying into the Tea Party as much as you had hoped. ALL of their candidtaes lost their primaries on August 3. And I AM LAUGHING!
I am good with everyone accept number 2 and 6. The 17th amendment took the teeth out of states rights. Senators used to be in essence the Ambassadors from the states to the federal government.

MrEpicTruth 1 year ago

That list of ideas is fine.

If you have fallen into the repub trap of believing such nonsense remember, those tax cuts for the wealthy are currently in place
urparanoia 1 year ago
@urparanoia i believe everyone should pay the same tax..if one pays more taxes then they are entitled to more, rights, freedoms etc... i am not willing to accept that... the health care thing may be good at some point, but this is not the time...clean this country up first..get it in order.. and dont try to force crap on the people before your "swamp" is drained and in order..noone is in any position to make any radical change until america is cleaned up and in order..(your mom would agree)
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001 -Your comment is rather vague. Are you aware that Great Britain adopted a national healthcare system following WW2? Many would think that would be "the wrong time" to do so but the exact opposite is true. The burden of rising healthcare costs, decreased coverage and increased deductibles is the leading cause of bankruptcy for the average citizen in this country.Conservatives are always saying "now is not the time" for any program proposed by dems-any excuse to put it off.
urparanoia 1 year ago
@nw5052001-If you understood more about taxes you would not be making such statements. Evidently you are not aware of why the "alternative minimum tax' came into being. Many of the wealthy pay a smaller percentage of tax then those who make far less.Evidently you have never heard Warren Buffet ask why he pays a smaller percentage of tax then his secretary. If you don't understand the basics I can see why you might swallow the conservative rhetoric .Such rhetoric is how they manipulate small minds
urparanoia 1 year ago
@urparanoia i dont understand taxes totally,,but consider this..eveyone has an opportunity to be wealthy, that being said if we pay more taxes than the wealthy i am sure it is because we benefiet more from gov entitlements, we use them they dont..divided maybe from the rich but if they paid for us then they would own us. theres no shame in living a modest life. just say no to credit. where we spend our money will dictate our future
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001-You're right-you don't understand. That was a nice speech but it has NOTHING to do with what I was saying. You missed the point entirely. Your comment reminds me of Republican Mitch McConnell when 8 time he was asked by David Gregory of Meet the Press about borrowing money for tax breaks for the wealthy-he had a lot to say but it had nothing to do with the question. If you're going to make comments you should have a basic understanding of the subject.Sadly there are many more like you
urparanoia 1 year ago
@nw5052001-I have heard a lot of excuses for tax cuts for the wealthy but yours is the most lame of all. What you are doing is saying something, anything, to justify what the conservatives want to do. If your going to do this you had better come up with some sort of arguement that is based in reality. The funny thing is that it was conservatives who passed the unfunded entitlement Medicare Prescript Part D a corporate welfare program designed to protect big pharma profits at taxpayer expense
urparanoia 1 year ago
@nw505200l- Maybe you could tell me what entitlement I have taken advantage of since I do not recall doing so ? The wealthy may complain about paying a higher percentage of tax but they get breaks and deductions that you never dreamed about. If you feel good about financing corporate welfare and making payments on borrowed money for tax breaks for the wealthy you are free to do so.Just send IRS a little something xtra on April 15th.

nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001 Health care reform needed to happen. The cost of treatment keeps rising and many people cannot afford coverage. The system was actually less fair and more socialized because people who could not pay got there care for free and the hospital would just charge the people with coverage more. You need insurance to drive a car and eventually no matter who you are you are going to get sick. Now everyone will be able to get care.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus insurance cost is rising anyway..there may be some good things about it, however i am not into agreement of being fined if i dont purchase it. most people have the impression they are getting something for free and i know that from talking to people..they only see the part that sounds FREE.. ..thinking oh obama wants to take care of me..and for the most part they are unwilling to make an exerted effort for themselves and would rather sit on the couch.. i myself am poor.
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw505200 Here is the deal. If you are going to mandate that companies need cover everybody then everybody needs to pay in. Otherwise people will wait until they are sick to buy insurance and the system will implode because no one will pay in.
At some point you will get sick and if you are poor (which you keep mention for some reason) then you are not going to be able to pay and someone will have to pick up your bill. That is why everyone need to pay into the system and purchase insurance
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@nw5052001 The deficit does need to be reigned in. However, tax rates are way to low. We could make up a large portion of the deficit by letting the Bush tax cuts expire. Keep in mind these were financed entirely by borrowing and gave far more money to those who made over a million dollars a year then those who were middle class.
Realistically, neither the Tea Party or the Republicans have any real ideas on how we can balance the budget. Not have a perpetually active military would help.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@nw5052001 While I am not impressed with the Dem's track record I am less impressed by the Republican parties use of political games. They have been stone walling the Obama administration even when reforms have been sensible and good for America. This is because they want to deny the president a record of accomplishment so that they will have a better chance in the elections. This has been at the expense of America and should be considered treason in my opinion.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus the wealthy will not spend or create ubtil obama is gone..that seems to be the problem with recovery..which is understandable for they should not be singled out to pay the burden...as i said i am poor, have nothing to look forward too, but am not going to place that burden on others, i chose to live peacefully without money and the greed that comes with it and i am content to die that way cause it has kept me free..
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001 The wealthy do not create that much any ways. What drives the economy is a strong middle class and strong consumer spending. The recession has crushed both of these. The wealthy have been almost untouched but they want even more tax cuts even though they are not spending.
You are basically arguing that we need dynastic wealth to make the economy work but as we have practiced this over the last 40 years we have just seen the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus , i can see your view is reasonable..i just think there is a better way and it has to do with good morals and ethic's..i would not have gotten involved in this if i didnt see the border issue being ignored and not to mention demands placed on us to be tolerant when people want to invade our country and kill us all or convert us..and now they are here but we have to remain tolerant. they cant be trusted and why the hell just surrender? collectively things look bad
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001-You have fallen into the trap repubs have set for you-They protect the status quo and manipulate small minds by telling us we will lose our freedom if we have social programs such as healthcare that do not allow them to profit. Look beyond our borders at countries which have 28 holidays per year, healthcare, a greater GDP per capita then the U.S., longer life expectancy, lower infant mortality rates etc. Common sense should tell you the republican way is not good for this country

Why would the Tea Party want to appeal government aid when 70% of all tea party members are on government aid?
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus because conservatives dont fear fending for themselves...Imagine people giving something up for preservation of this country. . the left are all weirdos who cant even go camping for they fear the dirt, they cant sustain themselves in the slightest of disaster, they need to be taken care of and lie, cheat and steal to feel safe from real life. in other words they are afraid to die.
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001 I think that is a blanket statement and a half right there. I am an avid democrat that love to hunt, fish and camp. Red states get more aid than blue states even when there is no disasters. Lastly, one can be proud in death but we all fear it. My question was rhetorical. Tea Party Member do not realize their aid would be cut off. If they were really so into values they would preemptively stop cashing those checks to be more "honorable." They do not want to go hungry either.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus i am trying to be rhetorical, (whatever that means).. well if they are not willing to give it up then i guess i am the only one that hasnt sold his soul. i do question their integrity from time to time it is so hard to trust anyone these days.. i just know what they speak is something i have felt for many years. probably due to my "honor" in not expecting more then i need, not reaching beyond my means to attain material things. but yet i was screwed over...
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001
First, rhetorical means that I asked a question simply for the sake of asking it. It helps reveal absurdity.
Second when you respond to my question with the following quote:
"because conservatives dont fear fending for themselves...Imagine people giving something up for preservation of this country"
and then follow it immediately with the quote
"well if they are not willing to give it up then i guess i am the only one that hasnt sold his soul."
it does not empower your argument.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus so how are you going to fix the world? that is the only question that matters and i am not being rhetorical
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus ok i didnt say it was my party....and from where I sit and from what you are telling me i am getting in both ends....who is to be trusted? right now you are asking me to trust you, am i correct? I been alive a long time. i have seen the deceit, the manipulation, the lies, the demoralization of the integrity and decency of american citizens.. while tyrants are rewarded, all for the love of money..thats not even humane.
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus they are not my party. yet. so far they are a favorite.. i am looking at the 2 evils and making a choice...although in the end i will probably remain independant as i always have. and i will venture into the wild to live my remaining days in peace with creatures of dignity..thats how free i am..i owe nobody. nobody owes me ( even tho they ripped me off). i dont fear the wild. its about the soul. its how you walk. its whats in your heart when you die..
nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001 If you took the time to read then you would realize these guys do not have your best interest in mind. What you say does not make sense. Not the one that is easy because it is sheathed in bitterness and mistrust. Get informed.
RoflDopolus 1 year ago
@RoflDopolus to get informed would take a year and forever..who is to be trusted? nw5052001 1 year ago
@nw5052001 Just because you can recite the pledge of allegiance does not mean you are acting in the best interest of this country. You are being manipulated by large corporate interest into selling out your own well being.
