The status quo has been in place so long that people believe that the way it is, is only way it can be but in 1993 in Rwanda all of sudden after few speeches an entire country changed... Horrible and terrible way to change but we control how tomorrow will look we can take anyones power or organization power just by refusing to recognize it. We have always cooperated with each other we make the rules and choose the path we are in charge all of us our will together. Where do you want to go!!!
And I vote we clone Napolitano eight times and make him the Supreme Court.

If We the people don't Take up arms and take our country back, what makes you think we will ever be allowed to vote again? Not that the peoples vote has done any good the last few times!
It doesn't matter who is in office there all corrupt President obama said all kinds of things he would do just like Ron but once they get into office there forced to comply with the shadow government witch do not have the peoples interest at heart' If that does not change soon and the laws continue in the direction they have been' like murdering babies this war on drugs and forcing other nations to do there will The lord god almighty will fix it for them in a UN-Kind way .
Ron Paul is showing contempt against the federal reserve. Then he is showing disgust at people not being concerned "about the business cycle and serious financial problems". Later he is showing disgust at how he was treated in the Brüno movie. Overall, he is honest about what he is saying though.
Look Ron Paul got enough media exposure during this last 08 presidential campaign for ALL Americans to know what he stands for(Specially Republicans). They laughed and boo him during the debates. Ron Paul is a politician before he is anything else, or he would have walked out on the Republicans a long time ago.The fact of the natter is that most Americans are dumb and getting dumber, they care about the NFL and the Yankees more than about Election Funding Reform or the Federal Reserve's role!
He already walked out on the Republicans in 1988. Why don't you look up how successful that was.
I'm sorry but unless we can get another Ross Perot, none of us, probably not even all of us collectively can equal either the Democratic or Republic Parties in their ability to fund presidential races.
Wow, six minutes and twenty-one seconds of pure gold!
Paul provided some very brief and very intelligent answers to each of these questions. Particularly the last question regarding Obama's unchanged foreign policy.
Dr. Ron Paul lives in Texas, he is a multi-term Congressman representing Texas, but due to the Jewish Media Mafia Blackout, lots of folks in Texas have never heard of this man.
Why does the Jewish Media Mafia fear the Truth and Ron Paul?
Ross Perot, I voted for him(my first presidential vote). It didn't work... am telling you we are a dumb country, we've been trained, like seals, to vote straight party line... regardless of who the candidate is. We treat politics like a Team Sport! I would love to see us do away with political parties and just vote for the most qualified candidate. I also like to see people organize a general strike where EVERYTHING STOPS! Show those fucks who really keeps this country moving... who's with me?
@Harrygton Perot was my first vote as well. And I agree with everything you said. Bring this dysfunctional government to its knees. The power lies with the people not the politicians or the elite.
He nailed it. The anti war left is fake. The left only hates the wars the other guy starts, just as the right hates the wars the other guy starts. Every Leftist leader in the history of the world loved war. It was their engine of change. This Left vs Right stuff is fake. Ron Paul is the only one that was talking about real change. The change back to our Constitutional Republic with sound money and no war machine or poverty machine.
"people voted... are that candidate's 'supporters'"
Yes, I am arguing that. By supporter I do not mean slave, I do not mean a campaign fundraiser, I do not mean someone who even knows all the candidate's positions; by supporter I mean someone who supports the candidate enough to vote for him/her.
So, thehotfive, what you are saying is that it would be brash to even say that Ron Paul had 1 million supporters?
You've missed my point. I am quite sure plenty of Ron Paul's supporters cast their votes for Obama--both because Paul was not on most ballots and because Obama's electioneering rhetoric seemed more palatable to them than did McCain's. And by supporter, I mean more than simply "vote-caster".
"by supporter, I mean more than simply 'vote-caster'."
How devoted do you feel someone needs to be to become a "supporter" in your eyes?
I consider myself an Obama supporter. I support some of his policies; but I can easily name more than a dozen policies I disagree with him on. I never showed up to one of his speeches or debates (even though I had the time and means to get to said events). I did not campaign for Obama.
I voted for him, and that's basically it. (I also support Clinton).
I noticed at some point there was a shift of support from Hillary to Obama by the mainstream.
A large flock of "vote-casters" then switched from Paul to Obama. Mainly due to Obama's anti-war lips service. And that's all it was, lips service. Obama has no intentions of ending war, or even reducing our World Police image.
Wouldn't it be great to have this playing on T.V. screens EVERYWHERE you go?
Think about the mindless dribble that is being consumed right now in almost every restaurant, bar, tire store, shopping mall, auto repair shop, barber shop...
Do more than just turn the channel. Turn on the MIND of America again.
"his popularity is escalating whilst obambam's is in the toilet"
Let's say Paul's support went up from 1 million to 31 million (+3000%) and Obama's support went down from 66 million to 33 million (-50%). Obama would still be more popular than Paul.
He was trying to say that even though ON THAT DAY, Ron Paul did not win; he would win if there was an election now. However (even biased towards Paul) that is wrong.
You're arguing that because 66 million people voted for one candidate--of the two who were propped up and promoted in and by the media--those 66 million people are that candidate's "supporters". It is closer to the truth to acknowledge that many of those 66 million voters simply believed--thanks to some great marketing--that, of the two major parties' candidates, one seemed like he might do better than the other.
Ron Paul was effectively censored by that same media, but is still being heard.
I know right! How often do we hear McCain on the news, who was the Republican candidate, compared to Ron Paul who was nothing more than a ballot write in...almost zero lol. On a side note though, Palin is in the news more than McCain which is utterly retarded. I wonder what Ron's numbers will look like come CPAC 2010 :) I think if liberty candidates win some (if not a lot) seats next year, both parties will be forced to recognize this movement. Stay away from our money and our private lives!
Joint Resolution 114 was passed on October 11, 2002. The Iraq war started on March 20, 2003. Congress voted to start the Iraq War before the Iraq War started.
At what point did the President provide the Senate and House proof that reliance by the U.S. on further diplomatic or other peaceful means alone either would not adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq or was not likely to lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq?
Resolution 114 gave the President the authority to go to war if a real threat could be proven. None could.
I think Theopolitical doesn't grasp the logic behind U.S. taxation, specifically the income tax. It is that your income does not belong to you, but instead it belongs to the gov't. Your tax return is what the government is allowing you to keep. It's not that you own your income, and you are being considerate enough to give a chunk of it to the gov't. Meaning, the gov't wields the power to give you just 1% of your income back if they want. Although this isn't probable, it sure is possible.

"your income does not belong to you"
I believe your mind and concept of the world is far too narrow and weak to even comprehend how Ron Paul is misleading you.
"Your tax return is what the government is allowing you to keep"
Not at all. You can go to war with the United States. You can choose to operate within US territory and refuse to pay any tax (just as you can walk into a movie theater without buying a ticket).
You can go to another country and you don't have to pay the US tax.
You pay the income tax to be a part of the United States (like a subscription fee for having public education, police, firefighters, military, roads, emergency health care, etc... provided to you). If you dont want to be a part of the United States, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO.

"Ron Paul did NOT lose the election"
66,882,230 votes + 365 Electoral votes (Obama)
41,905 votes + 0 Electoral votes (Paul)
Are you serious? Nader, Barr, Baldwin AND McKinney ALL got more votes than Ron Paul (individually).
"millions who came out onto the streets of Washington DC "
There were not even 100,000 on the streets of Washington in the 9/12 protest. Look at a full game at Beaver Stadium (which has less than 109,000 seats)... the crowd in Washington didn't even near that.
Your election results for Paul are very misleading.
He dropped out of the race so of course, he was no longer on the ballot, except for a few states who included him.
Over 1,000,000 people voted for Ron Paul in the Primaries for the Republican Nomination. Had Paul still been on the ballot for the main election all of those supporters plus more would have voted for him.
With over a million votes in the primaries, Primaries are typically not given a thought by 90% of americans except what thrown down their throats by the MSM. Imagine how many votes he could have gotten if he had even 10% of the airtime Obama, Clinton, McCain or even Romney. People would have been informed to the truths in their government encouraging critical thinking and logic to take a foot hold, he would have won. Reason , no one else was telling us the truth. Truth does set you free.
They ARE misleading. You refuse to acknowledge the fact that over 1000000 people voted for Ron Paul during the primaries. Instead you try to dumbdown his support by saying he received less than 50000 votes during the general election.
You dont have to be a rocket scientist to understand what people mean when they say "Ron Paul won the election."
Yes Obama is the President. We all know that, thank you for informing us Mr. Genius!
It's simply an expression. Sorry if you lack simple understanding.

"voted for Ron Paul during the primaries"
Primary votes do not translate to November 4th, the general election.
"dumbdown his support"
I said nothing about his support. All I am pointing out is that Ron Paul did not win the election (which was what someone was trying to claim).
"It's simply an expression"
Yes, like "We don't need the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud". Using "expressions" that are in no way connected to fact is useful in politics, but deceitful.
Once we return to paper ballots, and open free elections you can use that argument about the validity of elections, which, upon close statisical analysis and inspection of the first few primary states in which Ron Paul participated in have been proven to be fraudulent.

Your facts are deeply flawed and skewed like a bill oreilly broadcast, So your proud of 66 million people being easily misled by Mainstream media and a smooth talker. Look where it has gotten you,
Continued wars,death
Patriot act still enforced. Loss of freedom for all.
War on drugs still in effect. Destroying billions of dollars and lives.
Sheeple.
Also Ron Paul dropped out telling supporters to vote for other third party candidates. Still over 40,000 disobeyed Paul and voted for him anyway.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"your proud of 66 million people being easily misled by Mainstream media"
So you believe the opinions of Americans do not matter? That we should not even have a vote?
"Sheeple"
No man is an island unto himself. I'm guessing you follow Ron Paul (at least partially), you possibly even voted for him. To say everyone who voted for Obama are "sheeple" is beyond ignorant, beyond dismissive and is a pathetically weak argument.
Each candidate should be given equal time and equal respect. If only certain candidates are given both of these, the vote becomes something less than a true choice, and the country becomes something less than a true democracy.
"Each candidate should be given equal time and equal respect"
There were over 23 candidates that were listed on the ballot (which in itself requires some work). If there was an hour-long debate then each of them would only get 1 minute and 52 seconds (TOTAL) to talk (assuming there were normal commercial breaks).
This, however, does not include primary candidates nor does it include candidates that failed to get on the ballot.
They were not removed from later broadcasts of the debates. The point was that MANY candidates were not even invited to the debates in the first place.
The election cycle is very long in the US (because airtime is so tight near the election). Today would be a good time for a would-be 2012 candidate to be campaigning*.
By November 2011 they need enough supporters to gain media attention (to be invited to the debates).
*Usually they have a national seat (Senate, Congress, Governor).

4:08 - "If you concede the principle of the income tax you concede the principle that government owns all your income"
That's basically like saying if you consume one Advil pill to deal with a head ache or pain then you have consumed the entire bottle of Advil pills (thus killing yourself).
That is the problem with Ron Paul. He may have some good ideas but he does not see grays, he thinks only in absolutes. (ie. he does not agree with our current wars thus wants to disband the military).
Umm no, he doesn't want to disband the military. Bringing the military home and cutting personal are two different things. It cost so much money to operate our 700 bases around the world. It cost a lot of money to patrol our allys boarders with our planes and our ships. It cost a lot of money to subsidize dictators in South America, the Middle East, and in Africa. What I get from your post is that you want Ron to be a little more "establishment" then he is now. I'm happy I know where he stands.
That's true, but the advil bottle won't jam itself down your throat either. The reason we disagree with the income tax is that if the Federal government wanted to raise your payroll tax by 80%, what's going to stop them? Nothing because if you say "no I don't want to pay", your going to jail! You agree with me there right? It's not like a contract you would make with a an individual or a party, the government forcefully takes the money outta your pay check, and they can change the rules any time
He has never said he wants to disband the military in fact quite the opposite. He supports a strong military as being something that is constitutional. He does not, and I agree, support unconstitutional wars. Article 1 section 8 of the constitution explains how we are to go to war. Congress did not declare war with Iraq, Bush did.
Great interview. His message rings true with so many, and now more than ever. I think that what he's done over the past couple of years is simply amazing and know that it will only grow stronger.
Ron Paul will go down in history as the person who saved 'America the Free'. If not, it will be recorded as the official beginning of the One World Order.
Ron Paul did NOT lose the election - his popularity is escalating whilst obambam's is in the toilet. A result of his 2008 campaign is the millions who came out onto the streets of Washington DC on 9/12 (as well as the Tea Parties, & veto-proof audit-the-Fed support). He educates and inspires. Just IMAGINE if we had 400 congresscritters of the knowledge and statesmanship of Ron Paul. Our country would be Transformed !!
I believe Ron Paul was the catalyst that made everyone give a damn about what the government again. The 9/12 protest, tea parties, town hall questioning, etc.
Now everyone knows who he is. My friends family is mormon and his father is the church minister (or bishop, I forget the title) and they even want Ron Paul for president. That's reaching across the board in my book since mormon really don't like the idea of drug use. They don't even consume caffeine, well they aren't supposed too. :p
weed has only been outlawed 80 years. I don't smoke it but I can honestly not care what people do behind their doors.
If people really gave a shit they would do citizens arrests. Most people do not insist their lives and beliefs on to others, because they know - doing to much of that would get their asses kicked.
So the government is starting to get theirs kicked- with Ron Paul and his supporters.
I love my bumper sticker which says "Don't blame me, I supported Ron Paul" and as each day passes in this sorry land of ours, that truth is most clear.
We need to spread the message of liberty folks and get on the offensive.
We have too many liberty loving, freedom fighting people that will overcome these communist beasts that are in our congress and White House.
Most party politicians just can't stomach Ron Paul's rational thinking which most of the time does not follow the party line. Like even on taxes and marijuana. The party line is still in favor, without any critical thinking among the powers to be/not to be very much longer.
He isn't perfect, and I'm not convinced that his minimalist approach wouldn't lead to isolationism. But when we get to the point where we're becoming too isolationist, and we have too much personal freedom and liberty, then we can address those issues.
danielstwin -- It's because he is not a member of the CFR. The Council on Foreign Relations and the UN and TC are fronts for the NWO agenda, as are many banks and corporations.
The anti-war, liberal, Democrats are not paying attention. Most people don't pay attention to what goes on after the charade we call elections. That is why people like Bush can get away with growing the government, and Obama can get away with expanding our wars. Why is it that MOST Americans want peace, AND limited government, but people like Ron Paul are used as a doormat in the news room?
One of the reasons the GOP sucks so much is they have a person as great as Ron Paul among their ranks...and they choose to talk about Sarah Palin for 2012. -_-
Sad the drones that slave away in the media machine probably don't believe Ron Paul is popular. I get the impression they think it's a small rabid group that have learned how to spam their polls. They can't see the forest for the trees. Or rather, reality for their pay check.
Ron Paul 2012! Ron Paul is a true American, getting back to the roots of our founding fathers! It's about time we had someone not affraid to state an honest opinion. He puts the interest and concerns of America, it's citizens and thier future above corporate controlled goverment. BUY "END THE FED"!
He's right about Obama neutralizing the anti-war left, that "just left". Even Kucinich fell in line with the establishment after Obama's election and threw his support behind the mass murderer in chief.
Bush wasn't honest. He won on almost the same platform that Paul ran on - smaller ogvernment, no foreigh interventionisn, lower taxes, privatizing social security.
Bush ran on a similar platform and then proceeded to do the exact opposite. But he was honest about his blood lust. Obama escalates the wars orders the bombing of women and children and then pretends like none of that is going on.
I think we added another 1000 troops in Iraq last week. God, I can't beleive that by the end of 2012 we would have had 12 years of Bush policy. Fucking wonderful...
LOL.. "The anti-war left, has just left". Ron Paul is such an awesome person. A very wise man! Hope for 2012!

Ron Paul is showing contempt against the federal reserve. Then he is showing disgust at people not being concerned "about the business cycle and serious financial problems". Later he is showing disgust at how he was treated in the Brüno movie. Overall, he is honest about what he is saying though.
TheAmazingFuturist 2 years ago

Theopolitical 2 years ago
You've missed my point. I am quite sure plenty of Ron Paul's supporters cast their votes for Obama--both because Paul was not on most ballots and because Obama's electioneering rhetoric seemed more palatable to them than did McCain's. And by supporter, I mean more than simply "vote-caster".
thehotfive 2 years ago
"by supporter, I mean more than simply 'vote-caster'."
How devoted do you feel someone needs to be to become a "supporter" in your eyes?
I consider myself an Obama supporter. I support some of his policies; but I can easily name more than a dozen policies I disagree with him on. I never showed up to one of his speeches or debates (even though I had the time and means to get to said events). I did not campaign for Obama.
I voted for him, and that's basically it. (I also support Clinton).
Theopolitical 2 years ago
I think you nailed it.

RON PAUL 2012!!!
01keef 2 years ago
"Sorry if you lack simple understanding"
Here is the rest:
"his popularity is escalating whilst obambam's is in the toilet"
Let's say Paul's support went up from 1 million to 31 million (+3000%) and Obama's support went down from 66 million to 33 million (-50%). Obama would still be more popular than Paul.
He was trying to say that even though ON THAT DAY, Ron Paul did not win; he would win if there was an election now. However (even biased towards Paul) that is wrong.
Theopolitical 2 years ago
You're arguing that because 66 million people voted for one candidate--of the two who were propped up and promoted in and by the media--those 66 million people are that candidate's "supporters". It is closer to the truth to acknowledge that many of those 66 million voters simply believed--thanks to some great marketing--that, of the two major parties' candidates, one seemed like he might do better than the other.
Ron Paul was effectively censored by that same media, but is still being heard.
thehotfive 2 years ago 4
I know right! How often do we hear McCain on the news, who was the Republican candidate, compared to Ron Paul who was nothing more than a ballot write in...almost zero lol. On a side note though, Palin is in the news more than McCain which is utterly retarded. I wonder what Ron's numbers will look like come CPAC 2010 :) I think if liberty candidates win some (if not a lot) seats next year, both parties will be forced to recognize this movement. Stay away from our money and our private lives!

"Congress did not declare war with Iraq"
Joint Resolution 114 (the Iraq War):
- Senate: 77 to 23 (yay v. nay)
- House: 296 to 133 (yay v. nay)
Joint Resolution 114 was passed on October 11, 2002. The Iraq war started on March 20, 2003. Congress voted to start the Iraq War before the Iraq War started.
Please at least get BASIC facts correct.
Theopolitical 2 years ago
At what point did the President provide the Senate and House proof that reliance by the U.S. on further diplomatic or other peaceful means alone either would not adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq or was not likely to lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq?
Resolution 114 gave the President the authority to go to war if a real threat could be proven. None could.
thehotfive 2 years ago
I think Theopolitical doesn't grasp the logic behind U.S. taxation, specifically the income tax. It is that your income does not belong to you, but instead it belongs to the gov't. Your tax return is what the government is allowing you to keep. It's not that you own your income, and you are being considerate enough to give a chunk of it to the gov't. Meaning, the gov't wields the power to give you just 1% of your income back if they want. Although this isn't probable, it sure is possible.

"millions who came out onto the streets of Washington DC "
There were not even 100,000 on the streets of Washington in the 9/12 protest. Look at a full game at Beaver Stadium (which has less than 109,000 seats)... the crowd in Washington didn't even near that.
Theopolitical 2 years ago
Your election results for Paul are very misleading.
He dropped out of the race so of course, he was no longer on the ballot, except for a few states who included him.
Over 1,000,000 people voted for Ron Paul in the Primaries for the Republican Nomination. Had Paul still been on the ballot for the main election all of those supporters plus more would have voted for him.
RileyE104 2 years ago
With over a million votes in the primaries, Primaries are typically not given a thought by 90% of americans except what thrown down their throats by the MSM. Imagine how many votes he could have gotten if he had even 10% of the airtime Obama, Clinton, McCain or even Romney. People would have been informed to the truths in their government encouraging critical thinking and logic to take a foot hold, he would have won. Reason , no one else was telling us the truth. They are not misleading in the least part. Ron Paul did not win the election; that is a statistical fact.
To say "Ron Paul did NOT lose the election" is misleading.
Theopolitical 2 years ago
They ARE misleading. You refuse to acknowledge the fact that over 1000000 people voted for Ron Paul during the primaries. Instead you try to dumbdown his support by saying he received less than 50000 votes during the general election.
You dont have to be a rocket scientist to understand what people mean when they say "Ron Paul won the election."
Yes Obama is the President. We all know that, thank you for informing us Mr. Genius!

Theopolitical 2 years ago
Each candidate should be given equal time and equal respect. If only certain candidates are given both of these, the vote becomes something less than a true choice, and the country becomes something less than a true democracy.
thehotfive 2 years ago
"Each candidate should be given equal time and equal respect"
There were over 23 candidates that were listed on the ballot (which in itself requires some work). If there was an hour-long debate then each of them would only get 1 minute and 52 seconds (TOTAL) to talk (assuming there were normal commercial breaks).
This, however, does not include primary candidates nor does it include candidates that failed to get on the ballot.
Theopolitical 2 years ago
How many candidates had minutes of their airtime removed from later broadcasts of televised debates, and why?
thehotfive 2 years ago
They were not removed from later broadcasts of the debates. The point was that MANY candidates were not even invited to the debates in the first place.
The election cycle is very long in the US (because airtime is so tight near the election). Today would be a good time for a would-be 2012 candidate to be campaigning*.
By November 2011 they need enough supporters to gain media attention (to be invited to the debates).
*Usually they have a national seat (Senate, Congress, Governor).

He has never said he wants to disband the military in fact quite the opposite. He supports a strong military as being something that is constitutional.
