I just beat this on the 360 version. After like 20-30 fails and thinking about it for a day, I beat it in a couple more tries. Here's what I did differently on my successful attempt:

- used the AK47. It does huge sustained damage like the shotgun and is also good for picking off the special infected quickly (which is important)

- also dodged around the broken skylight. It think it's worth it for the extra breathing room and I'm pretty good at dodging rocks. Free shots!

@lebbeus That's the Tank. He won't die very fast becuase he's the strongest special infected in the game. Plus there is only one guy trying to kill it. Usually there is 4. I don't know if you were just kidding or didn't know why the "monkey" wouldn't die.

@brntlkemypoptarts There isn't any difference besides their appearance and personality. They all move at the same speed, have the same health, ect.

In Left 4 Dead 1, each character had a preferred weapon choice if they were an AI, but in L4D2, they just pick up whatever.

@Mmac2797 Actually, you are wrong. Ellis usually grabs an auto-sniper. If theres a hunting rifle, he wont grab it. Coach usually grabs shotguns, Nick rifles, But Rochelle usually grabs whatever she gets.

@Mmac2797 They do have hitbox differences. It seems odd, though, that you did better as coach, seeing as he has a larger hitbox than ellis.

@Peter9019 The Rage Meter doesn't go down when he's close to you, which is why he doesn't simply die after a minute. It's the same mechanic in Versus, except the tank dies instead.

Since the Map is so small, not to mention 90% water, it's pretty much impossible to "Starve" him to death here.
