  • thx for using ur hummer as a hummer, not dressing it up in bling and lowering it.

  • @williamfsark

Thanks mate, I've really got used to it and don't think I could go back to a 'cruiser or Landrover now. I still get very odd looks when I pull into remote places with the van!! Thanks for looking.

  • @ozjas Mate, that cheeky b@stard in the Landcruiser was the reason I got stuck. He was as chuffed as hell that his 'cruiser pulled my Hummer out though !!!!! All good fun. Thanks for looking.

  • Whats that stuff on your doors

  • @tarzwell50 Mate, That's magnetic strip, the stuff sign writers use to make magnetic signs for the sides of cars. I bought a roll 600mm wide by 9M long and ct it into shape of the panels. I carry it in the back & use it to protect the paint as much as possible as I tend to use the H2 for what it was made for. Most likely the only H2 in Aussie to be used properly........thanks for looking.....

  • @westozh2 Thats a good idea .I think i might try to get something like that. Your right hummers are 4x4 lets use them that way

  • @tarzwell50 Mate, I picked up the magnetic strip up in Melbourne when I picked up the H2 after it's LHD to RHD conversion. Can't remember the name of the shop but it supplies a lot of businesses. As for using the H2 as a 4x4, it works incredibly well but I have to confess it's thirsty which means I have to carry another full tank of fuel in remote areas...........and always pull up for fuel for peace of mind!!!!!!!!

  • That Hummer is about the only tow vehicle that Ive seen that looks almost as wide as a Bushtracker - LOL.

  • i don't see why you couldn't just like leave the caravan near the entrance

  • @elliotmotoX , Mate, this was shot when I first put the rig together and I wanted to know the capabilities of both the H2 and the Bushtracker. It gave me an idea of what it could do so I had the confidence to take it into remote areas and know it would behave. Which I've since done and have been more than happy with it. I must confess it looks far more scratched now than it did then.......
