tag team is a synonym for taking turns, 'to tag in' is giving control of something to another person. You mean: make the tage team mode a co-op mode

Have you even played the game? No... no you have not... you just jump to conclusions because its based on the same game play style as the BT series...

Not to mention that even from these low quality you tube videos you would have to be blind not to notice how much better the game looks graphically and game play wise...

And why even ask for a new engine? Other then some tweaking the BT series is as close as you are going to get to DBZ simulation... Or do you want another DBZ Sagas game?

This engine has been used since Budokai 1 like 10 years ago, correct? If I am wrong please correct me but to me it's the same shit.

It's time for something new. No, not Sagas that was a terrible game. We need more than 2 people on the field at once fighting. We need a completely redesigned Ki system that actually is what is used in DBZ. BT is not as close as we could get - you need to think greater and truly imagine a real DBZ game. This isn't even close. It was years ago, but not now.

Budokai 1-3 and burst limit and used a standard fighting engine like the street fighter games but tuned to feel dbzish.

Tenkaichi 1-3 and from the looks of Raging blast use an engine designed to feel not like a fighting game but more like simulated dbz.

True they need to tweak the game in a lot of areas such as how Ki works but the fact is that the Tenkaichi Series cam as close as possible to true dbz simulation.

And like Ive said Budokai 1-3's engines are FAR different then Tenkaichi's.

Most of the time in DBZ it was 1 vs 1 though, it's not really worth adding 2 vs 1 fights.

The only fight I can remember that were 2 vs 1 are: Gohan and Krillin vs Guldo, Goku vs Jeice and Burter and Goku and Vegeta vs Super Buu. There are probably more but still, it's not a necessity.

What ki system was used in DBZ? I thought that Tenkaichi was pretty accurate with the androids absorbing energy etc...

DBZ Legends on the PS1 has multiple people fighting btw, I've never played it though

Yeah, I know most of the time the fights are 1v1 and it could still be that way - imagine going into a fight 5 on 5, but there's 5 separate battles going on at once on a large map? Then say if 1 gets defeated then it's 4v5, or if 1 player is too strong the other team doubles up.

And I had an idea for a whole new Ki System that would be a lot more true to the story than the standard bars we have here. I posted it on the Atari Community forums a couple years back - I'll PM you it if you want.

I'm not sure how 1 player fighter 2 at the same time could work though, with the sidestepping (or side teleporting) it could mean characters going into eachother :/

and the lock-on system would make it hard as well. If they get it to work it would be awesome though.

It's great how so many people are content with these slightly more improved versions of the same damn DBZ game being sold to you year after year (but now it's been 2 years).

It's like Madden. Madden 2010 is the same as Madden 1999 - but fanboys keep buying them.

There is no bigger DBZ fan than me and I bought all of them up until BT3 and after that I started realizing that I was buying the same game with a couple new gimmicks.

It's not a red outfit, it's an aura during the transformation animation. It's Little Gohan. >_>

It looks like he's transforming. O_o Well, at least, it's similar to their transforming animation for this game. He's either going "power unlocked" or it could be a what-if form. =O
