I had no freakin' idea Mark Twain was buried in Elmira. According to Wikipedia: "He is buried in his wife's family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, New York. His grave is marked by a 12-foot (i.e., two fathoms, or "mark twain") monument, placed there by his surviving daughter, Clara. There is also a smaller headstone."
The Seth books rea the best explaination for our existance as humans on Earth. Bless Jane And Rob and Seth for helping so many of us understand who we are and how we fit in the universe! So much more expansive and clear then any religion.
I'm from Elmira and had discovered "The Nature Of Personal Reality" without knowing that Jane and Robert were from here, It was strange but really interesting.
This is incredibly interesting to me, as I've read most of the Seth books and a few of the "Jane" books. For positive contribution to the world, Seth/Jane beat Mark Twain hands down.
RIP Rob, who passed on 5-26-08. It's nice to imagine him catching up on things with Jane, and maybe finally getting some answers to those questions he never quite got back around to in the Seth sessions. This world is far better for having had them in it; many thanks for helping us create a better reality.
Water poured over that dike in early June 1972. My great aunt and uncle had a basement apartment on Walnut Street, it was goodnight Irene for all they owned. New York State National Guard evacuated them at 10pm, water went over the top around 8am the next morning.
Thank you so much posting this! I have always had a strong desire to see the home in which Robert and Jane lived during the Seth sessions but had no idea where the house was located.
Jane wrote books for which, in a sense, the movie & book "The Secret" is the 'Cliff Notes.' Very powerful philosophy stuff, and the books were bestsellers at one point.
A very beautiful setting. New England's combination of the wet climate and luscious green vegetation spawns the imagination for a number of literary genres. No wonder why the majority of Stephen King's plots take place in Maine; the landscape can bring about the contemplation of the supernatural.
Thanks for posting these! Although Seth surely would have said that the physical setting was unimportant, it helped my comprehension significantly. BTW, that's the Chemung River.
this is interesting, this place is beautiful

The Lemming Chronicle is similar to Oversoul Seven books, somewhat. . .

Chemung (say it--sha-mung) River.
It flooded in 1972 (Hurricane Agnes).
The pile of dur is the dike, to help prevent the house, streets from getting flooded.Elmira is the summer place for /mark Twain.
I'm not kidding, he lived her.
& he is buried here, with his wife & her family.
Eileen Collins, Tommy Hilfiger are from Elmira.
