as far as I have tested (have a EU ps3 and tried importing SRW Z) it doesn't work, it recognised it as a PS2 Game booted it then gave me a black screen of death, so my guess is no

Good luck beating it. I've had the game for over 6 months and I've only beaten the One Year War saga, which means I'm not even HALFWAY done with the game. It's that long and very hard to beat. But well worth it.

You simply need to figure out which commmand does, but the format of those commands are the same as in most Turn-Based Strategy games. By selecting one unit, the top command is always 'Move' while the second is always 'Attack' and the command at the very bottom is always 'End'.

Another reason why I didn't have a hard time learning thru G-Gen Spirits is because I've been playing Super Robot Wars since the Super Famicom release in the 90's. So I'm used to the Japanese TBS commands.

...and for the record, I don't read that much Japanese. But extensive knowledge of the Gundam franchise helps alot in learning each Mobile Suit's weaponry, performance, and the items used in the game.

I read some basic Chinese, and Jap borrows alot from chinese. I see alot of words I can recognize like "Attack" "Evasion Rate" and the sort. Alot of basics. From there, I use context to figure things out. Plus if you know all the gundam storylines really well, it helps alot.

1 Why are Kira and Athrun so homo with each other even though both of them already have love interests of the opposite sex

2 Why did Athrun give Kira a robotic bird as a symbol of their friendship when they were young (gay)

3 When is pressing the lock-on and fire button one after another considered to be "piloting" a mobile suit

4 Why does SEED have a poor excuse of the masked "villain" of the series

5 Why does Destiny have a poor excuse of a MSN-00100 Hyakku Shiki clone

I don't mind the shounen-ai fanservice.. it's just that Destiny is a total clusterfuck of a series when it comes to characterization and a cohesive plot and concept. If it were a shameless knockoff done WELL that would be fine, I actually didn't mind the first SEED series. But it can't even knock off UC well.

OO is only liked by UC fanboys because it looks good in comparison to SEED. On its own, it's still more or less garbage, at least once season 2 starts.

here's some more reason why people don't like CE (especially Destiny):

- repetitive, overly whiny characters, poor, overly dramatic writing

- unrealistic combat that resembles super robots more than real robots. Gundam pretty much INVENTED realistic, warlike mecha combat and Seed/Destiny threw that out the window

- Most (good) Gundam shows have good and bad characters on BOTH sides of the conflict - even newer ones like Gundam 00. Destiny just portrayed the EA as a bunch of evil, retarded morons

I don't mind when a side is portrayed evilly (let us not forget that the Titans basically had no redeeming values, aside from some moments of humanity on the part of Jerid and Mouar)... but yes, Destiny in particular makes the Alliance look completely impotent in its lack of scruples, much to my annoyance. And then when ZAFT has to carry the villain ball for the rest of the series, all of the Minerva crew becomes similarly brain-dead.

the first gundam series i saw was Wing but i didnt liked it, then i began watching 0083 and liked that kind of story and timeline for best, so i am a UC fan forever.

i also like X and Turn A but not that much, but i prefer them more than i liked W or 0080, my only ones i didnt liked.

So, kosmos48xenosaga, I am pretty much saying that, C.E. wasnt included in this game and many people are happy are the ones who are true Gundam fans. And I have to admit that I am a true Gundam fan myself. Have seen the first series untill now double 0. Also, not to mention the whole Gundam thing started to slide down the hill since Gundam W came out. Since W, it began to go worse and worse till Seed Destiny (aka Garbage).

It is best because the series in this game are classic and can teach many people that there are more Gundams. Many people nowadays only know Gundam Wing, X, Seed, 00...etc. because they were made 1-10 years ago. Therefore, not many people know about Z, ZZ and other original ones. I never said other series were bad, i was just saying that, I was glad Seed and Seed Destiny..etc. wasnt in this game because the pilots and gundams from those series are way too overrated and overpowered.

Ok, first let me clear some things up. U.C. and C.E. are different. And that is the whole point of the game, it's focusing on the timeline of U.C. If you're wondering why and still want to prove your point, complain that to Capcom. I'm insulting the series of C.E. By the means of C.E., I meant the Gundam Seed series. Freedom and Hi Nu are totally different design, similarites of both gundams don't have anything to do with the timeline and history.

There's a reason the V2 Assault Buster is my favorite Gundam. Its massive amount of armaments is one reason, but the fact that it can still go close to 20Gs is amazing. Also, its Wings of Light actually have a purpose, compared to recent Gundams that rip off that idea. *cough*SEED DESTINY*cough*
