Arma is a realistic game. VBS2 is a military simulation. Both on the same engine. There. ACE2 comes a bit closer but its still not it.

Huh, so VBS2, ArmA2, & Operation Flashpoint 2 are separate games that run on the same engine. VBS2/ArmA2 looks like ArmA with some mod/ add-ons (which is fine I suppose.) It would be nice if the developers looked at some other FPS games for examples on how to make the animations smoother - still way too jerky. Also still needs better sound effects but I'm sure the devs are leaving that for the community again. I hope it doesn't lag like ArmA did when playing on-line. ArmA had serious lag issues.

no, its shit ;) and just for anyone who dont know, most of those rockets have a 70 meter back fire, by that i mean, a soldier will be hurt from this rocket even from 70 meters away, so they better fix this, and do ALOT more smoke coming from the back of the luncher, and another thing in 1:10 the bullets need to fly alot more than what they fly there, atleast half a meter, and they need to fly freely and spin when they exit the firing chamber.

That kind of ruins the shoot. If that tracer didn't fire every fifth round, I'd be worried to death about a misfire/blockage. Linked ammo though? What do you shoot? Sounds like something I thought would be illegal in Australia given your gun laws. Or are you in the service?

in service, yes link and luckily we didnt get any stoppages that night. The variance in tracer to normal rounds ratio may have been changed when we joined some non tracer link into some tracer link as we combined ammo from an earlier assult......

Do you play ArmA online at all? Unfortunately for my family's military heritage, that's about as close as I'll ever get to shooting at anything more than paper targets at the civilian range.
