@Loo0Lzz: No, you have to land about 8 pixels away from the cliff while the water is at its highest position to get the maximum of points

The music just before you started each event was short but always excellent
At least it was for Winter, World and Summer games2.I'm vaguely sure California games had good music also- it likely was because the polish on that one was particularly good
The Winter and Summer editions i would guess didn't have quite the same quality to their ditties?

Classic! Used to play this on my C128 back in the 80s. There were some funny elements in the game such as this event, you could hit the rocks and the pelican would nod its head like nope and if you hit the water correctly but didn't pull up then you'd hit the bottom and bird would cover it's eyes. Brings back memories and thanks for posting!
