Don't say Giggs because we all know he is deployed as a central midfielder these days, and don't say Park because he is also more effective deployed in the center. Young fills a role that needed filling, the left wing. Thus, he is not competing for Nani's place, as Nani is a natural right winger.

They can both play on both sides, but Young is natural left and Nani is natural right.

Fast-paced, direct, counter-attack heavy football. One or two touches, no messing about in the middle of the park. Football with purpose and speed. Young is used to this.
