  • Love this song. Underrated album.

  • Bryan Ferry is the essence of musical sexy and cool.

  • la voce meravigliosa

  • Here it is ... it's wet on the face.

  • looks like dan dare with his huge eyebrows.

  • wwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Shakespearian..

  • the best (when I'm not lauding other bests). Top 5 bests?

  • pure class, viva Roxy.

  • Any album, Roxy or 801, that features Manzenera playing that fine-ass Goldtop, Andrew McKay, and Ferry is a piece of ART! It's just too bad they changed the line of covers to exclude the supermodels... I guess that "in every dream home" there IS a heartache!

  • VIVA ROXY ! Gary Tibbs was a great bassist ahead of his time.....

  • Stunningly Beuatiful is all thir music!

  • Bryan's vocals are so passionate! Love it!

  • Phil is on fire on the geetar at the end

  • a GREAT lp,maybe a little shocking for the oldests fans of Roxy,but...a renewal of their sound.

  • Unlike many bands, sound just as good if not better than the recorded version...... that says a LOT.

  • Oh, so true!

  • Manifesto gets a bum rap from critics and fans alike. This is a great album and the band literally reinvented itself years after the brilliant first 4 or 5 albums, to make popular music for a new era without losing the wonderful songwriting of Ferry. Love this album. It's a good workout disc too!

  • Tibbs was a good dimention ,wonder why they never had a permanent bass player.

  • Got to love his expressions and the vocal inflections... two mi-inds...

  • brilliant. thanks foe making this wonderful performance available on the internets.

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT. The Robert Louis Stevenson classic, told in less than five minutes' time, drenched in cool, crreamy, crisp art-rock goodness. It don't get no better than this!

  • ferry is amazing!

  • X-factor plus

  • This album " Manifesto " marks the third version of Roxy Music followed by the albums " Flesh and Blood " and lastly " Avalon" fans affectionately call this version of Roxy Music Mach III . The sound of the band becomes more elegant and refined with an emphasis on lush arrangements.

  • Some would also refer to this later version as 'Bryan Ferry and friends'.

  • Is there a second guitar during the solo?

  • I love this song but what is with all the make-up? He's pretty enough as it is!

  • Oh Yeah!!! This song has such a kick-ass chorus, at the top of my favorite Roxy songs. Thanks for posting.

  • Beautiful, haunting AND sexy?!? At the same time? Seriously. Bryan Ferry is a fucking genius. No matter who I like (Elton John, Morrissey, etc) I still like him most because he's so....so...so...he knows.

  • This is far more powerful than the album version. Superior in every way.

  • Roxy Music in my heart. Thank you.

  • He's so great. The only other singer I can think of who has ever done anything like this is Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, singing Schubert's "Erl-Koenig", a really scary song with three characters.

  • Robert Louis Stevenson's tale of duality and madness told in less than five minutes...only Roxy could pull that off! Long live MANIFESTO!!!

  • This is a bizarre, striking song. Great performance.

  • It's pretty much impossible to put into words how much this band means to me. Amazing. Never again to be replicated.

  • Brilliant, huge, sublime...

I don´t find the words to explain my feelings about Roxy Music

    TOP Influences for us

  • Perhaps the best song about Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

  • I think the best thing in this song is the guitar riff heard at the beginning and repeated later.

  • Thanks for posting this! Roxy Music rocks!!
