  • Does it work fine with 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM and i think a Geforce 8600m gt with 256MB

  • @edog5723

depending on what you have the settings set to, you can definitely get it to run well. but maybe not at max settings.

  • Base processor :Intel Celeron 2.7 GHz integrated graphics 64mb shared memory: Will it work for me?

  • @Dcsa1996i

i'd say no. your video card is too weak and that processor is WAY out of date, that computer could hardly run wow which came out in 04

  • Does it lag without fraps or the recorder

  • @josephsy96 Its the in game recorder, it doesn't usually lag this bad but there is some lag.

  • Oh does is

  • @josephsy96 negative, my laptop is the first gem unibody with the 9400 and 9600 in it.

  • This is most likely played on the 320m graphics

  • Some sound would be nice ;)

  • Dude, I have the Macbook Pro 13" 2.53GHz and 4gb of RAM and Nvidia Gefirce 9400m and it is VERY LAGGY, do you know how can i fix this problem?

  • Hi just wanna ask, NVIDIA GeForce 320M can run the sims 3 well with no laggy scenes??

  • @AllureCharms is the geforce 320m beter then the geforce 9400 or not

  • i prefer a PC desktop.

  • @juggernaut898 can't take that desktop on the bus. and my laptop runs windows 7 just fine.

  • Was it just laggy because of the recorder? Or was it laggy because of all the Sims?

  • @Ledjar ya but you can have as much power with that small thing.

  • Then don't post here.

  • okay thanxx

  • can you put in on macbook tiger, or does it have to only be panther?

  • Doesn't matter, what matters is the specs on your computer.

as long as your laptop/desktop doesn't use the intel video card it'll probably run if you bought it after 06.

  • wow very nice

  • can this run on the new macbook ?

  • most likely

  • the standard macbook? probably, all the post 09 ones have at least a 9400 in them, which should be able to run it no problem.

  • omg it goes 10x faster than my pc! im going to have a macbook pro 15 inch on my Bday wish me luck =)

  • will this run with these specs

    2.53 ghz

    4gb ram

    250gb HD

    9400m graphics card

  • yess

  • i have the 2.4 ghz macbook pro as well with 4gb Ram and a faster hard drive as well... but for some reason the sims 3 runs choppy and slowly. any ideas? I have all the graphic settings maxed, but shouldnt the 9600 be able to handle it?

  • are you running it at full settings? i run it at almost full but if you keep the near house detail down it seems to keep it running pretty well. i'd just mess with your video options.

but yeah the 9600 should be ample to Sims 3, the graphics are good but its no crysis.

  • I have exactly the same configuration as your MBP.

    I have noticed something strange...

When I use the 9400, the game works fine. But when when I use the 9600M GT, the game works slowly...

Is it normal or my computer has a problem ??

  • its definitely not normal. i have a few friends with this same laptop and one of them had an issue with the 9600 where it overheated and burned out. i'd look out for that and do some more reserch, you might be able to swap it for one of the new ones.

  • How many GB of Ram do you have? I just ordered a 2.4 ghz macbook pro with 3 gb of Ram.. is that enough?

  • dude, return it to Apple immediately and get the new one. Quick! It comes with a ten day return policy.

  • i just ordered the new one! i was so lucky
