hey VV i got some news for ya. i am a CA contractor. to keep our license active the state requires we have a 12500 bond. in past years it cost 120 or so for a year. because of the crisis and people defaulting on jobs the bond companies are now charging 1300 a year if you have bad credit which most my friends have now. so a guy that got foreclosed on, cant get credit, is now supposed to come up with 1300 a year non-refundable on top of liability and workmans comp if u hire someone, BULL SH@T!

Ive noticed that the majority of states (roughly 90%) that voted for Obama, also taxed their people the most. These states have the highest unemployment, highest taxes and usually vote for democrats that want MORE government.

hey VV i got some news for ya. i am a CA contractor. to keep our license active the state requires we have a 12500 bond. in past years it cost 120 or so for a year. because of the crisis and people defaulting on jobs the bond companies are now charging 1300 a year if you have bad credit which most my friends have now. so a guy that got foreclosed on, cant get credit, is now supposed to come up with 1300 a year non-refundable on top of liability and workmans comp if u hire someone, BULL SH@T!

It makes you think about what they are trying to achieve. They KNOW you are doomed to fail. They KNOW you cannot afford to operate your business under such sinister controls.
The question is why? Why do they want you to fail? Is this to fight deflation? Is it to steer people desperately into government/state "employment" (further their enslavement) ?

now that is what we should be asking. as time goes on i begin to fear more and more that the people running the show are now pushing towards their goals at an accelerated rate and all of us are in the way.
at least it seems that way...either they are very stupid or they are dr. evil and not in a funny way. either way they need to be thrown out

I lost my small business in the U.S. in the early '90s. I found out who my true friends were -- and they were few, very few. A lot of advise here is to form a strong community. I wish you the best -- such as, ten good friends to lend you a hundred each . . . .

Yeah I keep a budget and man have my costs gone up. Pretty soon I will not be able to keep up. I already have less to save because of the cost of gas and utilities. And now the state decided to increase my taxes on utilities and cable. So pretty soon I'll have to stop getting cable just because I can't afford it.

Hello, visionvictory, I just saw the reference to getting an ostrich for pleasure in the tribute video. Ostriches are nice, I like them too, but they are wild animals and their kick is very powerful. People have died of an ostrich kick. They are very nervy and temperamental creatures. Please do be careful. And thank you for your work, I find iit soothing to watch your videos even though the content is nerve-wracking.

Bernanke's declaration that the recession is "most likely" over has to rate as one of the boldest, outright lies to the American people ever. Who would invest in the market when SO many businesses are still struggling to stay afloat???? Nope, the turn around has not started. In my humble opinion the current administration does not WANT it to turn around. The bad economy provides to them the crisis that the need for their ends.

Almost every day lately I run into another example of banking/big business working with OUR government, with the willing help of the media, to pull another confidence scam on the American people.
This triad is the real axis of evil.
They've been kicking this golden goose for so long it's become a habit they can't stop. Their arrogance will be their downfall.

I wonder if the total ripoff fees US hospitals change patients is included in the GPD index. If so it is no wonder the government do not want to do anything about the grotesque ripoffs the US healthcare system is.

Yes, The first 8 months of 2009 has been horrible for truckers...shippers are paying below opperating costs.....I have been been short 15% for my monthly bills..Flying J went bankrupt in July over losses in Fuel Futures during 2008 and Pilot Made an Emergancy buyout Something like 60 billion...Roadway, Yellow,... were bought buy one man, are expected to bankrupt 2010......Made a profit last month for the first time all year..I secured 20 #10 cans of dry foods...

I think the media is saying everything is better to get consumers spending. Kind of like a self fulfilling prophecy.
Media, big business and government are all loaded with conflicts of interest. I hate to think of how history is going to see us. We are going to look every bit as foolish as 1930s Germany, or any other people we see as unbelievable.
