You're right the Harrier is older.

That's because the Harrier actually worked and wans't a death trap to it's own pilots like this was. The Yak-36 is the worst VTOL fighter ever. I feel sorry for the Russians who flew it. All those good planes and then they end up making this.

God, people should read up on this stuff. No one with a brain would say the Yak-36 is better. Now the Yak-141 is better than the Harrier but that got cancelled.

you don`t need 15 minutes of hovering.Even helicopters overheat if they hover too much!!!

You do know that when it was deployed in Afghanistan, 15 minutes was about the time it worked before overheating. That's including normal flight, not just hovering.

Why is it my comments get rated down? I've got enough fucking books by Russian authors to know even they thought the Yak 38 was an ambitious, yet horrifically flawed plane. Even the pilots hated it. The Yak 141 was the only VTOL fighter Yak built that was any good and they only made 2 of them.
